I bought xperia mini a month ago..worked fine til now bt since a week,phone gets switched off even with 22% battery remaining..also gets charged quite quickly..I have not installed ne apps since 10 days n dis prob started suddenly on its own..Also,since that time,even if the screen is locked,screen backlight gets on,on its own..(i dont use wifi at all,gprs also is off most of the time).

Once a battery level comes down to 20% and if i try to do something after that, then it just shows me a warning for battery low and pressing OK makes mobile getting switched off automatically. It wont get restart again until and unless I wont put it for charging. When the phone get restarted then the charging level will start charging from 20% which is quite strange. I already removed the battery, cleaned the points many time but problem didn't get resolve.
View 2 Replies View Relateda while back my xperia mini started with this annoying (and weird ) habit to slowly decrease the volume on the left speaker when playing music. It starts out as normal balance but after a few songs the left is starting to go down to a very low level. Not muting it completely though. It doesn't replug the headphones or even restart the phone. When I give up and leave it for a while it returns to normal though...for a while. Do you think it's hardware or software based? Since it takes a while for the volume to go down I feel it can be difficult for a support to properly analyze it. I'm running stock android 2.1-update1. I've tried different music players but it stays the same.

A few hours later, it remained at 35% indication.Since this couldn't be correct, i restarted the phone. Now, my battery indication was 100%. False again.I turned the phone off. It wouldn't restart.I tried the 'flash device method' by holding back button and putting in computer USB. No help.I tried SEUS. After that, phone switched back on, with false battery indication back to 100%, which is impossible.I noticed that during all this 'fun stuff', my battery refuses to charge. The LED indicator remains green without flashing, the settings screen doesnt say 'charging'. I know that the phone won't charge below 95% battery.So, the phone thinks the battery is 100%, therefore won't charge, and I'm pretty screwed, especially since I fear that once my battery drops dead, the phone won't be able to charge ever since it will think its 100% full...

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have experienced an unusual problem on my HTC One. My device does not get charged at all on switched on condition even if I change cables or any other charging adaptors. It does not show anything even if I connect to the computer via USB cable. But when I switch off the device and plug into the ac power, first it shows bright red led indicator and sign of the battery for 9-10 seconds, then the brightness of led indicator decreases and at the same time it shows battery charging with battery percentage for 6-7 seconds then led indicator and sign of battery goes off completely.
Again after 4 seconds same process happens. It took about 8 hours to charge the battery from 20%-100% on Switched off condition. I did factory reset, battery calibration (I connected charger for 10-15 mins in switched off condition, then I pressed and hold power button, volume up and volume down button for 2-3 mins which repeatedly restarted the handset) as well but the problem is same.
After I have charged my galaxy S5 I switch it off overnight. We I switch it back on in the morning the battery level is down to 60%.

However, just lately when I go to turn it back on it won't switch on, even though the battery was fully charged when I turned it off, leave it overnight and it won't turn back on. I've been waiting for the update for my SI 1250-3615 and now the end is on the list, the experience with my Mini Pro is very good, battery lasts 2 days, with wifi, whatsapp, gmail, hotmail, calls and this is good, also the performance of the phone is good too, now have Android 2.3.4 (when I buy what I had installed), so if I have the latest version of Android, but I do not get to have a bad experience just to update it.With ICS the battery will last less? The performance will be less? or? I can reinstall 2.3.4 on my Android phone in a simple way without losing the warranty?
