View 9 RepliesI've had my X6 for a few months now without too many unmanageable issues up to now. However, twice in the last 72 hours the phone has died completely with no warning, and the battery appears to be totally flat. Is this just a case of the battery being naff or a more worrying sign?
View 7 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my sk17i to ICS from GB, iam not ale to access the keyboards both qwerty and screen based. Every time i have to reboot to type, which gets disabled again. This is creating nuisance at every sms... Moreover , dont know for what reason, my battery gets discharged fast and much faster at night. Moreover often the phone gets hanged and slowed down.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOver the last 24 hours i've notice my Xperia Z2's battery is draining very quickly, even when asleep. Even when it is plugged in charging, i keep getting messages saying the phone is unable to charge as it is using too much power. And previously i could charge the phone overnight fully, now it doesn't get close to 40%
Â
In addition to this I've noticed it is kicking out a lot of heat at the top of the phone, and also i can no longer connect to the internet via wifi.
Â
Everything else seems ok, and i have managed to back up my data to an sd card. I haven't added any new apps recently.
Â
I've had the phone for less than a year and as far as i know it hasn't had any heavy drops or anything.
It is displayed or a discharge - a red silhouette, or charging for 100 %.All night long costs on recharge after that all the same displays a red silhouette. After a while changes or for 100 %, or BB hangs and displays the picture with a request to "take out-insert" the accumulator. After a certain operating time again a saltus from 100 % for a discharge. In case of resets (alt+shift+del) there is a date and time rollback. Today it was rolled away till November 07, 2012. Manually it is necessary to correct. Occasionally in case of the following restart BB returns to real time.Refirmware on fresher version (569th) tried.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a BB curve 9920 model. I observed that my battery discharges very soon or rather within a day. I dont have any many apps running in back ground what so over.
what to check to verify that battery is fine. Can i claim for a battery replacement as i have a bill with warranty?
I have the aspen for a week now and i think there must be something wrong with the battery. The battery lasts for 36-48 hours only. I talk about 30 minutes per day and i don't use Internet, blue tooth or anything else, i just talk. Is it normal for the battery to last only 36 hours? I have updated the phone from day 1. Should i ask for a battery replacement? If i buy a new battery how many hours should i charge it the first time? Do i have to let the battery discharge before i charge it for the first time?
View 1 Replies View Relatedwhat is the reason for fast discharge of battery in Lumia 710? I cannot get my mobile battery for more than 5hrs even though i optimized all the settings. I'm a student so i only use my mobile for checking messages and few calls not more than 10-15mins a day. on below average use of mobile i cannot get the battery for not more than 5hrs. my mobile SW is upto date and its version is 1600.3031.8773.12121. And the major problem is i cannot share my files via bluetooth.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo we all know that its a good idea to only recharge you Iphone when the battery level is low right? But say your iphone is at 20% and you want to get it down to say 2% before charging it. Is there an app that will quickly drain the power to prolong battery life?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue with the battery discharging when the phone is turned off. I have a 9810 Torch which is ~6 months old. I thought I had a battery issue so I replaced the battery. The phone acts exactly the same. I turn everything off at 7pm in the evening with almost a full charge, when I turn it on at 5am the following the battery is discharged down to the 15% level. Nothing is running while the phone is sitting overnight?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had a Galaxy S2 for 4 months and love it. I have had no problems at all with the phone at all however yesterday it got hot at the top near the camera lens and the battery died in 2 hours. I turned it off and on and it seemed ok but then did it again. I removed all apps and everything else that was using the cpu as the news and weather app was displaying loading continually I thought that might have something to do with it. It seemed ok for a while and then did it again. I noticed that although there were 3 grey bars of network signal there was no G/3G/H or in/out arrows displayed next to the bars. Tried a manual network search and it seemed ok but then the same thing happened... overheated and battery died fast again. Turned it off and on again...tried to make a call...no connection. I know I do not get a good signal at home but can usually move around and get one but couldn't even after a reboot. Put sim in another phone and it connected ok.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy E51 is jjust over two years old and will no longer hold a charge beyond about 30 hours
I have: replaced the battery, do not use Bluetooth, do not scan for wireless networks, cleaned the battery poles, removed the memory card on a trial basis, updated the firmware to the latest version. What else can I do besides return it to Nokia?
Our last nokia phones outlasted their shells over 5 years before we decided to replace them. This e51 has been great until now. Considering moving to another manufacturer.
I left my iPhone 5s to fully discharge last night. Today I have come to charge it up and it wont boot up past the Apple logo and charge up. It appears to keep throwing itself back to thinking the charger is repeatedly being plugged in. The phone was working perfectly before I went to bed.Â
I use original leads, have cleaned the connection port, tried another lead but no luck. I have held both buttons down etc but nothing will get the phone working and as I cannot get into ISO I can not do a restore.Â

I notice that when I do a full charge from a low battery once it hits 100% if I unplug the charger after i get 1% drain every 10 minutes in standby so I do a cache clean and reboot then it discharges normally after.
When I leave the phone plugged in lets say all night and it trickle charges for a few hours after being at 100% it will only discharge around 1% every hour on standby. Is there anything wrong?
the service goes out all of a sudden, and i have to switch the phone off and on agin to regain service. this happens in areas where i normally have good service
View 3 Replies View Relateda few days ago I bought my SE X10 mini pro.I now have a problem with my battery. A few hours ago, my battery level was around 35%
A few hours later, it remained at 35% indication.Since this couldn't be correct, i restarted the phone. Now, my battery indication was 100%. False again.I turned the phone off. It wouldn't restart.I tried the 'flash device method' by holding back button and putting in computer USB. No help.I tried SEUS. After that, phone switched back on, with false battery indication back to 100%, which is impossible.I noticed that during all this 'fun stuff', my battery refuses to charge. The LED indicator remains green without flashing, the settings screen doesnt say 'charging'. I know that the phone won't charge below 95% battery. So, the phone thinks the battery is 100%, therefore won't charge, and I'm pretty screwed, especially since I fear that once my battery drops dead, the phone won't be able to charge ever since it will think its 100% full...
I have looked online everywhere for a replacement battery and am unable to find one! Can you please direct me in the correct direction, and the battery required is as on the url supplied [URL] 3.7V 950 mAh Li-Polymer battery Measuring 40 x 35 x 5.5 mm and weighing in at a scant 18 grams?way of China or EU as it has already been four weeks that my battery crashed and would only work if plugged in continuously and now just does not work full stop!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI forgot to mention this problem too; I used to put the mobile in power save mode in the previous Android OS it was worked fine.
After installation of ICS in my mobile, the battery gets discharge in power save mode and it becomes very heat and I connect to the charger it gets charge and turns on phone.
For the past two days it happen the same but yesterday i charged my mobile full and disabled the power save mode. In the evening I monitor the mobile power it was 86% and in the 11 PM it was 76% and today at 2 AM it was 62% and at 4:30AM the phone was turned off and got heat. I tried to charge it; it's not getting charge nor even turn on the phone.
After that I removed the battery of the mobile and I wait upto 10 mins and then tried to turn on it back, finally it got turn on and I checked the percentage of battery power at 5:30 AM it was 52%
Recently i update sony xperia mini to android 4.0 battery backup is worst i charged battery full a night at morning it shows 81% battery i a have turned of wifi, gps, data brightness 25% which app can give better battery backup
View 3 Replies View RelatedEvery time my phone reaches around 10% it instantly drops to 3 or 4% then instantly after that to 1%... So basically I have to charge my phone before it gets to 10%. Not that big of a deal, but it is annoying not being able to do anything with it when it's at low battery and I'm away from a charger.
I'm trying to charge my phone before it gets that low from now on so I won't shorten my battery's lifespan so I can't comment on if the issue persist, but I will say that the calibration has made the battery to act less weird as far as dropping fast in certain areas but not others.
My battery life all of the sudden went to about 25% off what it was before. After a full charge the battery only lasts for about 3 hours even when not being used. I've turned off wifi, turned off location services, closed out of all apps to no avail. Is my battery shot? If so, why? I didn't use an iPad charger or do anything else that could have damaged the battery?

went from 100% this morning (charged overnight) to 40% 2 hours later with no usage other than sending 2 emails! No new apps running - nothing. I normally get at least a day and a half of usage.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI just got this used blackberry bold 9780. At about battery level 30-50%, the battery level will plunge to 1% within minutes. And it will stay at 1% for the rest of the day. Today, the battery indicator was working fine till the battery was about 30%, then the phone just died.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo...life up to now has been great with my 9300 but all of a sudden it is sucking battery power really fast. Can't keep a charge even 24 hours with very little phone use. Have experienced the same issue with three different batteries including a brand new one.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAround like noon today my phone started chewing through my battery. It is truly unbelievable. Goes down a percentage point every few minutes. I restarted, closed out of apps, made sure all the battery sucking stuff was off.

I've had my iPhone since november and it's been fine. I downloaded the newest update 2 weeks ago and battery life even improved. and then three days ago, my battery just started getting sucked dry. Today
I lost 30% in under an hour. I'm not doing anything I don't normally do. Also, I've tried hard resetting my phone and it won't even do that. Do I just need to take it into the store?
