View 3 RepliesI recently got an x10 mini and am reasonably happy with it. However, sometimes I find the battery has been completely drained just from sitting in my locker at work for 8 hours. I haven't installed a lot of apps but something is draining it...
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt keeps vibrating 24/7. As long as the screen is active the phone is vibrating. It only stops when the screen goes off, but then again, when I try to activate it, IT WONT LET ME MOVE THE CURSOR, because it is vibrating. If I take out the battery (I cant switch it off otherwise).
View 3 Replies View RelatedWondering if anyone has had similar problem. My battery for x10 has now started to last only 4hours - even during the night when its not in use.I already have brightness down as low as possible and have followed all the other guidelines to utilise battery life. The strange thing is that I have not changed anything on the phone recently and the battery just started dying!!!!! Extremely frustrated as I also seem to be receiving texts a lot later than they were sent even though I have full network coverage. I have had the phone since October 2010.
View 7 Replies View Relatedmy mini hangs and its screen goes blank and vibrates for hours till it battery drains out.
View 6 Replies View RelatedHave had my experia x10 for almost a year now, and battery tended to last for 2 days (using for calls/ texts/ internet) In the last few days though- I have fully charged my phone overnight, not used it at all during the day, and it has a completely dead battery 6 hours later. I've not got any applications running except for Cardio Trainer, but have always had this running.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is a problem with Android in general, but my Play's battery will literally die in ~8 hours when not connected to wifi. As I write this, the phone is just sitting here next to me, not being used, and it's drawing 149mA; this number goes up substantially if the phone is actually active, or if I simply hold it in my hand. Obviously, the phone has poor reception and is expending a lot of energy to hold the signal. If I turn wifi on, it's only drawing 1mA! What the heck is the problem? Is this normal?
The facts:
-Only happens while using 3G.
-Only things syncing are one Twitter and one exchange account.
-Not using a live wallpaper.
-Wifi is turned off when I leave the house so as not to keep searching.
I'm getting so tired of monitoring this things battery. I just want to use my phone.
a few days ago I bought my SE X10 mini pro.I now have a problem with my battery. A few hours ago, my battery level was around 35%
A few hours later, it remained at 35% indication.Since this couldn't be correct, i restarted the phone. Now, my battery indication was 100%. False again.I turned the phone off. It wouldn't restart.I tried the 'flash device method' by holding back button and putting in computer USB. No help.I tried SEUS. After that, phone switched back on, with false battery indication back to 100%, which is impossible.I noticed that during all this 'fun stuff', my battery refuses to charge. The LED indicator remains green without flashing, the settings screen doesnt say 'charging'. I know that the phone won't charge below 95% battery. So, the phone thinks the battery is 100%, therefore won't charge, and I'm pretty screwed, especially since I fear that once my battery drops dead, the phone won't be able to charge ever since it will think its 100% full...
I have looked online everywhere for a replacement battery and am unable to find one! Can you please direct me in the correct direction, and the battery required is as on the url supplied [URL] 3.7V 950 mAh Li-Polymer battery Measuring 40 x 35 x 5.5 mm and weighing in at a scant 18 grams?way of China or EU as it has already been four weeks that my battery crashed and would only work if plugged in continuously and now just does not work full stop!
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo had my N900 for a little over a week now and overall I'm pretty impressed. Great phone, but still very much a work in progress. One of the main issues I have at the moment, other than no turn-by-turn navigation (sorry, had to mention it), is the battery life - or lack of!
On an average weekday I use the phone to send a few texts (no more than 10), scan the news sites (no more then 20-30mins total) and catch up on my RSS feeds (again, no more than 20-30 mins total). I'm not using the media player at all and I may make one or two short calls.
Bottom line is that I'm struggling to get more than 6 hours battery life out of it. I know smart phones are thirsty, but I don't even get to listen to music on my way to or from work! Here's what I've already done to reduce battery consumption:
Removed active widgets (such as ForcaWeather) from desktops and replaced with web shortcuts.Reduced screen brightness to 2 barsDisabled GPS & Network positioningDisabled IMDisabled BluetoothI've heard some mention reducing the amount of active desktops, but I think that kinda defeats the object of having a N900. May as well buy a lesser phone if you need to strip out all the functionality to get though the day. I'd be satisfied with 8-10 hours medium use. At the moment I'm getting around 6 hours at light use - got to be something I'm missing.
Recently i update sony xperia mini to android 4.0 battery backup is worst i charged battery full a night at morning it shows 81% battery i a have turned of wifi, gps, data brightness 25% which app can give better battery backup
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been waiting for the update for my SI 1250-3615 and now the end is on the list, the experience with my Mini Pro is very good, battery lasts 2 days, with wifi, whatsapp, gmail, hotmail, calls and this is good, also the performance of the phone is good too, now have Android 2.3.4 (when I buy what I had installed), so if I have the latest version of Android, but I do not get to have a bad experience just to update it.With ICS the battery will last less? The performance will be less? or? I can reinstall 2.3.4 on my Android phone in a simple way without losing the warranty?

View 9 Replies View RelatedEvery time I charge the phone, the battery gets low very quickly, even when it's not in use. Example, last night before going to sleep the battery was charged to 60%, but when I woke up. It was nearly 20%.... why is it so? I only charge my phone via the USB cable on my laptop. Is it harmful for the battery life?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Phone randomly sometimes drains a lot of battery. All I can see is Android system consuming maximum of it.This is the screen shot when my battery went from 80% to 30% in 9hrs with only a few minutes usage in between and only 2G data on. All sync, FB, Timescape etc disabled! And this has happened on more than one occasion.Never happened on gingerbread.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am owner of SE Xmini for about half of year now. I updated my telephone to ICS.For last few days, i had a problem with device like it turned off and on alone, like restart for about 2- 5 times / day. And i see, that my battery cannot hold more than 20 hrs. Talk time is 37 min, so i dont use telephone a lot and i dont play games or something. I am also noticing, that Android OS spends much energy. Is that normal ? I try to disable programs in background, but they turn on alone by themself. I tried also everything about display and i also don`t have 3g signal turned on. BT and Wlan is always disabled
View 3 Replies View RelatedHow to save battery life in Sony Ericsson Xperia ? I disabled Wireless settings , bluetooth etc even after that it is not possible to watch movie or video songs or play games for more than two hours. I found one useful tip to save little bit - "Wait till your phone gets switch off(I mean your cell battery comes to 0%). And then charge it fully". It will sure gives you a good battery life. But it doesnot work most of the time.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been using my iPhone 4S for a few months and was working perfectly until two days ago I have been noticing battery charge issues. I use my iPhone for calls and emails - I am not a huge user and don't have too many apps on it. THis is the second day in a row when I have been charging my battery twice at night and in the morning when I wake up. I expect the battery will run out today as well before 6 p.m.
Info:
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1
I reset my iPhone as suggested but with no success. The battery is still running out within a 6-7 hour range. Do you suggest I reset the phone again?

How come my battery only last half the time after lastest update? I updated my phone on 03-01-2011. I used to charge every other night. I need to charge every night after the update.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy new phone overheats when charging, as does the charger and the battery has a life of 24-36 hrs with minimum usage - calls and sms only.Phone has been replaced yet i have the same problem with 2nd phone.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI Bought a new Xperia mini pro about 3 weeks back and it was so cool and I had no problems up till last week. The prblem of the phone is, the battery level drops to 1% suddenly from 20%. And it says battey is 1% and it'll shut down. I didn't do anything, no rooting nothing. it is same as new. It happened about 4 times during this last week.
all 4 times it dropped from 20% or 17% or something to 1%. I'm really scared about that and somebody please help me what can i do regarding that. and when i connect it to the charger following that.
The battery of my xperia mini pro got depleted during an update attempt, and since then it won't turn on, charge, nor be recognized by my computer through the USB cable connection. Hence the PC companion won't recognize it as well. It doesn't vibrate or turn any lights on, just gets a little bit hotter when connected for a long period of time.
