I have xperia u20i, and have a problem when trying to change my locale language and region ( croatian)...When i switch to Croatian , the letters y and z are switched (when i press z,the phone write y,,, and when i press y,the phone write z..)

I have English letters but have Korean symbols to change text to numbers etc. and lost the bar above the letters giving me word suggestions etc. I have switched off, removed battery and sim but still reverts back. View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to keep the display in landscape view when you slide the keynboard open? I have a car cradle that I used with my 9700. I now use the cradle with my Torch. The Torch is thicker than the 9700, so I have to slide the Torch open and slide just the keybord section in it fits nice aNd tight. I want to be able to swivel the cradle to allopw landscape view, but since the keyboard is open the screen won't change from portraight to landscape view.

If it does not correct itself, and turning the screen off does not resolve the scramble, I have to pop the battery.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using a Bold 9900 under T-Mobile. The phone repeats the letters "n" and "m" nonstop. If I leave my phone down, it would show "nmnmnmnmnmnm" after a minute. The keyboard, trackpad, and unlock buttons are also not responsive. I've tried the batter pull numerous times, and it has shown improvement once (I was able to type in my password and go into the home menu). Soon after that the problem returned. The phone just seems half dead and its reponse to my actions are random. Sometimes I'm unable to unlock my phone even after pressing the unlock button numerous times.
I did go to a beach with my phone. But there was no water or sand damage. It was in my hotel room the whole time. as the phone is completely unuseable right now. The screen works, but I am unable to press any keys to unlock/use my phone.
The letters Q W A Z are all mixed up! When you press q you get a - when you press w you get z and visa versa! I have already had to send this phone back the the supplier on Amazon once I really dont want to have to do that again...

This is really annoying because then it predicts a completely different word to the one I initially meant to type. Also, the issue is only with Samsung Keyboard, swiftkey works fine.

It connects well, pairs well, types well and without lag, but from time to time, when writing things longer than an URL or a login (for example an email) one of the letters typed repeats and repeats like holding it's key. Most of the buttons on the top row have stopped working, so I can no longer type the following letters: Q E R Y U O. This renders the keyboard useless. They all suddenly stopped working at the same time, so my guess is that its probably software related? I'm running Android 2.1 update 1.

Sometimes it stays on a for a few seconds whilst fully open but then goes off. Nothing physical has happened to the phone and it doesn't seem to be a loose connection or anything. I've tried updating the software but that didn't help.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought xperia z2 2 weeks ago. Just today my phone went crazy. The screen started detecting random touches every where _ghost touches_. I switched it off several times until the problem was solved . But apparently a new problem appeared. Now I can't scroll down the notification bar. I went to diagnostics where I could test the device. I tested the touch input and surprisingly the status bar area detects nothing at all. The screen works responds properly except for the upper most part ( status bar area). So I guess that this is a software problem .

However, under "Settings - Language&Keyboard" there is NO menu item for Android keyboard.... As it appears, she uses the standard T3 enty mode and simple does not like the recommended words. There is no way to set it back now and I am thinking about playing it back to 1.6 despite the advantages coming with it.
Is there another way to change this setting?
my xperia mini pro slide out keyboard has turned into an azerty keyboard after updating to ice cream sandwich ,i've checked the layout of the azerty keyboard ,even the symboles have changed places as it was an azerty keyboard, how can i return it to qwerty ? ps :i've tried repairing via pc companion ,it didn't work ..
