Dropped my s5 and now the screen doesn't work. Got a new s5 through insurance. Is there a way to reset the device to factory settings, since I can't view the screen?

I installed the lollipop update and now get constant "unfortunately, the system UI has failed. This happens for a variety of reasons and has rendered my phone pretty much useless for anything other than making a phone call. Most of the other accessories, apps and program either only have limited functionality or are unstable and shut down.
So, What is the best method/process to reset my phone to pre-5.0 and/or to reinstall 5.0
I have purchased a 2nd hand Samsung galaxy s5 online. it wont et me access the phone as it is locked due to an abnormal factory reset and is requesting a Samsung account id and log in - clearly I don't have one and it appears it needs to be the previous owners. Is there a way around this in order to access the phone?

I don't understand but my application memory is under 10 mb. Yes it is very low. I think that's one reason why my bb curve 3g has been slowing. My N97 is updated to the latest. I go to MENU-->>APPLICATIONS-->>SW UPDATE, it scans for updates and shows 'ALL APPLICATIONS ARE UPTODATE'. Now then, if i reset the device with a *#7370#, will it delete these updates as well? Not that i intend to reset my device, just curious world laughs with you. Cry, and the world laughs louder.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently have been having some weird problems with my HTC One M7. My battery has been draining a heck of a lot faster than it used to. It has also been lagging quite a bit. Sometimes extremely.
For example. One day it drained 40% in one hour. As I am typing this, it has drained 6% in like 3 mins. That's insane.
For an example of lag, it has been registering short presses as long ones, or taking a long time to pop up the lock screen, or open the app drawer. Some times a few seconds.
