Motorola Motoactv :: Factory RESET Before Setting The Newest Update?

I was wondering (since I have a few things on my MA that are not working correctly)...Do you think if I do a factory reset BEFORE installing the latest update that may help 'clear' out the few 'bugs'? ie..cannot even get the indoor calibration anywhere near close to what it should be...also, I think mine has an issue with the screen timeout function..and a few other things..Now, if i DO a reset before installing...After the reset, when I connect my MA to my computer, will it prompt me to go to the most current update or not?For the last update, I just connected and everything was fine.....I'm not that great with computers and I would NOT want to turn this into a Customer Service issue -- if you know what I mean...

I would like to know how, other than plugging my MOTOACTV into my computer, can I download the update. I've tried several times without success to receive it
after a factory reset, my MOTOACTV still shows my recent workouts and bike profiles. How can I get rid out those (i.e. how can I perform a TRUE factory reset)?
I had to do a factory reset (finess sync had stopped working); how do I get the workout data back onto the device?Right now it says ""No Recent Workouts Recorded".

How Can I reset my blackberry bold 8530 to the factory setting when I first purchased it. I tried a security swipe several times and its not giving me my web browser only web2go x 2.
When Motorola updated the software on my cell phone late last night, it reset my Droid X2. I woke up this morning to a cell phone that no longer had any of my contacts, calendar, email accounts, sound settings, previous text messages, call history, downloaded applications, and icons on my 5 screens that took me a month to set up to my preferences. Verizon Wireless CONFIRMED that Motorola performed a software update after midnight on 7/20/12. When I re-setup my google email account, my contacts and calendar were back, but EVERYTHING else is gone or needs to be re-installed and re-setup. I called Motorola support, but they provided no help or explanation. The support supervisor kept asking me if someone at my residence reset my phone (that would be quite a coincidence to occur on the very night that Motorola performed a software upgrade).
So I realized that the application memory gradually decrease. It does not gain the memory back when I delete the apps. I don't understand but my application memory is under 10 mb. Yes it is very low. I think that's one reason why my bb curve 3g has been slowing. If there is a way to gain the application memory, that'd be such a great help.Because I don't know how to gain back the application memory, I was thinking to reset the phone to factory setting? As in like deleting everything on the phone and so it'd be like when I first got my bb curve 3g.
while reset my 3G to factory setting it get stuck and couldn't start and couldn't start,i tried to restore it from i tune but its shows me error 1015 and couldn;t restore suggest me what to do. Info: iPhone 3G, iOS 4.1
Dropped my s5 and now the screen doesn't work. Got a new s5 through insurance. Is there a way to reset the device to factory settings, since I can't view the screen?
Anyways, I have managed to change my homescreen, widgets and subsequent screens so much that now I'm bored with it. I would like to reset all these screens back their original state.
I performed a factory reset yesterday (I am on 4.4.4, Verizon M8, never rooted or modded), and my Play Store hasn't updated from version 4.9.13.I've tapped the version number in the Settings screen and it continues to say that it is up to date, but the 5.0.x versions have been out for over a month now (and I had one of them prior to resetting yesterday) so I wouldn't think I would still be subject to a staged rollout...
I've tried clearing cache and data for both the Play Store and Download Manager, clearing system cache, rebooting, etc. and I'm still getting told that it's up to date. Do staged rollouts sometimes impact you again if you do a factory data reset?
I have a Verizon S5 and am currently still on Kit Kat (intentionally I might add).
I was just curious if doing a factory reset as my phone is currently configured would automatically upgrade me to lollipop or if it would do a fresh Kit Kat upgrade and prompt me that an update is available?

Attempted the 7.1.2 update. Immediately went to screen to connect to itunes. Tried hard reboot- that did not work. Know phone connected to itunes for a SLOW 5 hour factory reset. Now Im afraid Ill lose everything. WHY did this happen & how do i get my phone back to working condition?

Ever since I set up my new MOTOACTV, my iPhone has stopped ringing and it will only vibrate. Has this happened to anyone else and do you know how to fix it?
I just bought this Golf Edition GPS and all 18 holes on the Golf Course are listed as being PAR 4. This is wrong, is there any way to change these PAR SETTINGS? Some are Par 3 and some are Par 5.
