At the bottom of my screen I get a message that something is "unable to download" and it is not clickable. I can not figure out where this is coming from. Looked at text msg and play store, I can't see anything. I am on lollipop.
View 1 RepliesWhenever I connect a 3.5mm cord to my phone I get the message, "Hi, to get started please go to google app settings on your phone, which is now locked. Here's how, go to your google app settings, choose voice, and under hands free turn the wireless headsets option on."
This message plays constantly, it plays over the audio I'm trying to listen to and when I unplug the headphone cord from the jack it keeps playing through the phone speakers.
I don't have a wireless headset, I'm just trying to use a 3.5mm cord to connect to a car stereo. I've tried 4 or 5 different cables and they all do the same thing. I can sometimes listen to audio through the headphone jack without getting the message but if the cord gets moved around at all it will start in with the message again. It will also start a google search for no reason when there are headphones plugged in.
Sometimes I unplug the headphone jack and plug it back in when I'm trying to use it but when you unplug the headphones, it lowers the volume to a "safe listening level" and I get a message when I try to raise it. Again, I'm not using headphones, just trying to connect to a car stereo.
This has been going on since I bought the phone just after it was released. I was hoping it would stop with lollipop but it didn't. The message used to say something different / shorter, but it's still a louid / annoying message that drowns out my podcasts.
I had z2 works fine but suddenly it shows no sim even if I have inserted sim in phone and after restart it works fine... but after sometime same started .....
I have tried reset.. my sim is in great condition.... ports also tightly closed... it also shows strong signal but suddenly it shows no sim...
I have been unable to download the iphone software v5.1. I keep getting the timing out message. Is there someway to set my network connections to allow the download? Can I get the update some other way?

Lost my phone recently and now have a replacement. Kids are texting me pics of my grandchildren which I am unable to download. The latest text I got reads "Get media content now (174KB)" which is underlined as a link. I tap on the words and then get a message "Getting media content (174KB)". It shows that for a minute or two and then goes back to the first message. Is there something in the "settings" that is causing this problem?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wife's Galaxy S6 is only a 4 months old and for the last 2 months she has been dealing with this issue of her phone just randomly switching between apps and programs. For example her phone will just be sitting on the table and we hear a clicking noise (the same noise like when you text) so I look we look at phone and it's switching between messages, pandora, phone list etc. there is not set of apps/programs it chooses them at random. I tried shutting down some apps and no good. I called AT&T and they had me do a factory reset of the phone, no good.
Took it to the store and they sent us to the service center for replacement. But when we got there they said there is water damage to the phone so we are SOL. She works at a hospital and when she comes home, all she does is wipe down the phone with a baby wipe and that's it. I tried to explain to them I understand where they are coming from but this is clearly a software issue. They are refusing. I told them I work in the IT field and again it's clearly software issue or a lemon device, but they are hanging their hats on water damage of course.
So my question to you all, is there some way to roll back the software or to jailbreak it to fix this issue?
I keep getting this message: "Unable to download MMS. Check your APN settings and tap to reload."
I'm using ChompSMS, if that matters, but I don't see any MMS if I go into other apps, such as the default Messages app.
Daily Racing, Clean Doctor, Clean Master, TouchPal all have ended up on my Galaxy S5 without me installing them. Each will reinstall themselves a few minutes after I uninstall them. AVG finds the first 3 apps to be 'unwanted programs' Lookout finds no faults with any of them. What app is controlling them? and how do I delete them for good? Noticed them a few weeks ago and uninstalled them, a few days later they were back. Now it does it in minutes, phone is becoming unusable because AVG keeps popping up to tell me there back. Its like the Poltergeist movie 'their here!'

I'm unable to download themes to my Samsung S6. When I select one to download a pop up appears on screen for a fraction of a second (it's such a small period of time, that I can't read the text displayed on it). The pop up then disappears and the theme is not downloaded.
I'd disabled some applications on my phone as they were hogging memory, and I think that might be something to do with it; so I've re-enabled all of the Samsung apps but I'm still not having any luck.
I am unable to download or even check for my s6 edges's software update. Every time I try manually it says ''Unable to download software update a network or server update occurred" It says last checked on 5/10/15. I cannot move around the window and I cannot get to and tick where it is presumably asking me to 'agree'. All I can think of doing is uninstalling Kies and reinstalling the presumably new version. My external 8GB micro sd card shows I have 5.6GB available. However, my usb storage says I've used 12GB and have no free space. View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is only happening when I'm texting someone using iMessage - it'll say that they sent their message as a text message, but then a few minutes later I'll get their exact same message again, but this time as an iMessage - it's happened with multiple people - it says I'm still in iMessage "mode" but they're in text message mode and then i'll often receive the same message again - this has only started happening recently, and it doesn't happen every time but it happens often and I'm not sure why- has this happened to anyone else?

I bought my wife a Blackberry Curve 9300. Very good so far but she cannot download photos that have been sent on a text message, she doesn't use any social network sites nor the internet at the moment only used for messgaes and photos if she can retrieve them. The latest message from her friend had a download now box on the message screen but it will not download anywhere.
