I have been unable to download the iphone software v5.1. I keep getting the timing out message. Is there someway to set my network connections to allow the download? Can I get the update some other way?

At the bottom of my screen I get a message that something is "unable to download" and it is not clickable. I can not figure out where this is coming from. Looked at text msg and play store, I can't see anything. I am on lollipop.

The latest text I got reads "Get media content now (174KB)" which is underlined as a link. I tap on the words and then get a message "Getting media content (174KB)". It shows that for a minute or two and then goes back to the first message. Is there something in the "settings" that is causing this problem?

This is only happening when I'm texting someone using iMessage - it'll say that they sent their message as a text message, but then a few minutes later I'll get their exact same message again, but this time as an iMessage - it's happened with multiple people - it says I'm still in iMessage "mode" but they're in text message mode and then i'll often receive the same message again - this has only started happening recently, and it doesn't happen every time but it happens often and I'm not sure why- has this happened to anyone else?

On pretty much everything I try my blackberry can't seem to load anything that needs internet, which is strange as I was using it just earlier today successfully. I don't have a data plan, I'm using my home network. Since the clocks have changed, the time of appointments have also movedby 1 hour. I've resynched but the timing doesn't chage. As an example I had an appointment at 9 this morning. My phone says that it is at 8, and reminded me at 7, although the time in Outlook for the appointment is 9.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a curve 9300 and the DTS upgraded the software from OS5 to OS6 which resulted in the phone becoming increasingly unresponsive, spending loads of time buffering or waiting for it to respond and not being able to use the Internet Browser at all as the pages were always "Too Large" so they got closed down.
I have just downgraded the software back to OS5 to try and free up some of the application memory on the phone in the hope that it will work faster. It is slightly better and not as sluggish but it now won't let me download app world, Facebook or Twitter. It keeps jumping to a page that says that the server has timed out. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and individual apps, battery pull and tried doing it via my laptop - none of this is working and I am losing patience fast. The phone is about to be thrown off the balcony

Yesterday I noticed that I can't load any of my banking apps (td bank and boa) or any secure website for that matter. The connection just times out. Everything else seems to load fine.
