When I am in the middle of doing something it will time out and return to the homepage. I have set the Auto-Lock to never.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 8530 and downloaded the FB upgrade last week. I cannot stop the notifications icon from showing up on my homepage. I have gone through the options and removed the checks from the boxes for:
Blackberry Calendar Application
Blackberry Messages Application
Blackberry Contacts Application
Facebook Notifications
And I have turned off the Email Notifications.I have pulled the battery, rebooted, deleted the application, reinstalled the application....nothing keeps me from being notified about notifications.
Is there any way to keep the back light from timing out on the storm 2?

For no apparent reason, the status bar on my homepage is transparent. My phone is not jailbroken. I have tried restarting and putting different wallpapers up to see if it changes, but it does not. To be clear, I don't really mind the look of the transparent bar, but I am concerned that something is going wrong with my phone or there has been some sort of attack on the phone, especially since all of the information I can find about this suggests that the phone has to be jailbroken for the status bar appearance to be changed. I would like to know that I could change it back to the normal status bar if I wanted to.

How can I make the fonts larger in the Homepage? The icons are big but the font are super small. I know how to make fonts bigger for email, calendar, messaging, etc.  It would be nice that Apple fix this little issue so that users can have the accessibility to change from small to larger size.

If she pushes the "unlock" button while it is on it will go black but come back on in a short time then go off again AND ! Evrytime it comes back on the wallpaper is different. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a curve 9300 and the DTS upgraded the software from OS5 to OS6 which resulted in the phone becoming increasingly unresponsive, spending loads of time buffering or waiting for it to respond and not being able to use the Internet Browser at all as the pages were always "Too Large" so they got closed down.
I have just downgraded the software back to OS5 to try and free up some of the application memory on the phone in the hope that it will work faster. It is slightly better and not as sluggish but it now won't let me download app world, Facebook or Twitter. It keeps jumping to a page that says that the server has timed out. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and individual apps, battery pull and tried doing it via my laptop - none of this is working and I am losing patience fast. The phone is about to be thrown off the balcony
When I recieve calls the phone will only make around 4 rings before going off, I'd like it to be longer so I have more time to answer the call.it is a phone after all.

Yesterday I noticed that I can't load any of my banking apps (td bank and boa) or any secure website for that matter. The connection just times out. Everything else seems to load fine. I have att, although I don't think it is the connection because everything else is loading fine.

The screen after disconnecting from the HDMI port will go dim like it is about to shut off but it won't. It will stay dim until you manually turn off the screen with the top power button. It is a glitch and battery killing one to say the least. Anyone else have the issue or remedy other than rebooting like I had to! I mean why do I have to tear apart an Otterbox case everyday? If the HDMI glitch doesn't bother me then it is the black screen of death requiring another battery pull!
