IPhone :: Homepage Status Bar Transparent All Of A Sudden?
May 29, 2012
For no apparent reason, the status bar on my homepage is transparent. My phone is not jailbroken. I have tried restarting and putting different wallpapers up to see if it changes, but it does not. To be clear, I don't really mind the look of the transparent bar, but I am concerned that something is going wrong with my phone or there has been some sort of attack on the phone, especially since all of the information I can find about this suggests that the phone has to be jailbroken for the status bar appearance to be changed. I would like to know that I could change it back to the normal status bar if I wanted to.
How do you make the status bar invisible? I saw people doing this by adding an effect in Photoshop to the top of their wallpapers. I can't figure it out. I tried searching and found nothing.
I am using widgetlocker with dashclock on my lock screen of my 4.3 sense 5.5 device. One thing that's bugging me is that I want to change the status bar so it's transparent on the lock screen. At the moment it's black.
1. Is there any way to make the status/notification bar transparent on my HTC One?
I installed the apex launcher which allows me to hide the status bar entirely but I find that a bit annoying because I like to see the information on my notification bar at all times (i.e. time, connection). I just want the black strip to be transparent.
2. I just found out that there is an update to the software (4.3) and I'm currently on 4.1.2. If I install the update, will everything on my phone reset? Will I lose the layout of my icons with the apex launcher or Sense?
3. I've seen alot of people complain about 4.3 for various bugs. Do Androids receive fixes to such bugs quickly? My concern is that if I do update, I don't want to be on a buggy system for too long.
I want report a bad feature of our Sony with on-screen touch keys.
The navigation bar that contains the soft touch keys remains black in all apps (exception Album and olther Sony's apps). This feels very bad to see, so there is a solution, a mod, an app WITHOUT ROOT to have a transparent or semi-transparent navigation bar?Â
For example, in Chrome, will be perfect to have transparent navigation bar to see full web full page!
A small, hazy and transparent dot appears on the screen when my 4s camera is in use. I know it's not on the lens because I've wiped it clean. The dot moves when the camera moves. It just started today.
How can I make the fonts larger in the Homepage? The icons are big but the font are super small. I know how to make fonts bigger for email, calendar, messaging, etc.  It would be nice that Apple fix this little issue so that users can have the accessibility to change from small to larger size.

I heard one of the 4.3 and Sense 5.5 features that the home screen bottom bar become transparent. I just updated and it's transparent only in the lock screen, once I'm in it's black again? Is there an option to turn it transparent or it's just a silly update from HTC like the previous ones.
We are looking for a way to have a shortcut on the homepage to turn the Bluetooth on and off. With the handsfree systems in a vehicle that is left running the phone stays connected.
So, I own the Nexus 4 and I had installed Google Now launcher over the stock launcher and the transparency was just fine. Today, I decided to switch to Action Launcher and imported the Google Now Launcher settings. It asked me again, to which Google Launcher was not present. So, I selected stock. Now, the problem is, my status bar remains transparent, which is how I like it, but the navigation bar is black. On all launchers. I tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling Google Now Launcher, uninstalling Action Launcher, but no success. However when I swipe to Google Now from the Google Now launcher, it shows me a transparent navigation bar, but not on the home screen or lockscreen when using Google now launcher. What can I do?
Purchased the New Nokia N900 through Nokia Priority Dealer (Pinnacle Solution II). Address 111, Krishnappa building, Below Corporation Bank. N.H.7. B.B Road. Yelahanka. Bangalore 560064. The manager indicated that the Nokia has not depatched the transparent LCD protective film for the touch screen LCD and It will be available after 2 days. Now the manager is indicating that it will take months and it will be charged. I want to know whether all Nokia N900 comes with the transparent LCD protective film to protect the touch screen or do I have to purchase as an accessory.
Updated M8 to Lollipop (not by a custom ROM), are the Google Apps displayed with transparent notifications? (in other words, does the color extend to the very top on all of the google apps?)
I have recently come across this issue where my app tiles start going blank/transparent. I formatted my 64gb card to exFAT twice and the only solution seems to restart the phone or soft reset multiple times until they show up.
I found this on ebay: Quad band Dual SIM card Xperia Pureness cellphone X5. It's a clone of the Xperia X5 Pureness. It has a transparent display too: And just like most of chinese phones, it packs a dual-on SIM Card: I wonder how the screen looks like when the phone turns on.
All headline fonts on my LG G3 turned transparent with black outline.Tried everything I know in settings but no cure. Tried to turn off all options in Accessibility. Did not work.
My iPhone 3GS all the sudden went on dim. I tried adjusting the brightness and turned the auto brightness on and off but it is still stuck. I can barely see anything.

We have recently purchased the new I-pad, we have tried to sync our 2, 3gs phones w/ I-pad. Some Music shows up transparent in I-tunes and won't access. What must be done to access music?
I have a problem with my xperia Z2. i've been on the net for hours searching for the answer but all they've said was  just to soft restart it which i did but to no success of fixing it.  I updated my phone from kitkat to the new android lolipop. everything went fine. everything was great. but suddenly just this morning a problem concerning my notifcation bar arise.  My problem is swiping down my notification bar. it works fine on the lock screen but when the moment i unlock my phone, i cant easily swipe it down. i have to linger my hand from the top bezzle slowly swiping my thumb so that the notification bar would respond. i dont have all day to do this. i tried activating the show touch option to see how my touch responded to the screen. and there i think is the problem. there is this small gap between the bezzle and the top screen of my Z2.  Now the tricky thing to this problem is, why would my lockscreen-notification-bar-swipe work but my homepage swiping of the notification bar wont? they have the same gap of the touch between the bezzle and the screen when I touch the upper most part of the screen yet both work differently in terms of the responsiveness of the notification bar.
