For a couple of days now, I can no longer download Apps from the Google Play Store. The store shows "Installed", but they're no where to be found on my phone. Never had this happen on any phone before.

Unable to update / download apps from Google Playstore on Z3 and my brothers Z3 compact, i am stuck in downloading page. I have cleared data, cache, restarted both the phone still the same. I have tried using WIFI and mobile date still the same. Last resort is to re install either trough PC Companion or through service center.

View 4 Replies View RelatedNot sure what I've done, but I can no longer download apps through Play Store over mobile data. Wifi works fine.
My mobile data is as everything else works.
I can access Play Store and browse through the apps, but when I go to download it, it just says "Downloading..." and stays there.
I've tried restarting and removing the battery but even after that I still get an error downloading update notification from the play store. I do have to most updated version of lollipop t-mobile has for the S5 (5.0).

It started with the facebook app updating, forcing me to have to download the messenger app (I had used a workaround to avoid having to install it before), but when that wasn't installing I decided there had to be something wrong with facebook. I UN-installed Facebook, but now Facebook app gets stuck as well. Then I tried to find a replacement app, Fast for Facebook, but the story is the same.
View 1 Replies View Relatedmy HTC One X has been performing superbly.I can't download any Apps from the Play store but the issue is only over mobile internet (3G)if I connect to my Wifi (or any Wifi) it works and downloads perfectly.I can do everything else ok, surfing, email, facebook, upload photos to facebook, drop box, everything is running great apart from downloading Apps.I don't usually have many apps on my phone, as the onboard suite that came with the HTC is great.

I tried downloading other apps and the same happened so I tried troubleshooting by researching over the internet and got a very few solutions like:
-clearing google play store cache and data
-clearing google services cache and data
-then rebooting
I also tried re-syncing my google accounts
I have two of them one is personal and the other is my office
I also tried using just one account but no luck
so eventually I came to a conclusion of hard reset which usually fixes everything
But guess what no luck with a bit of different outcome
the download status keeps downloading but does not actually download only this time it doesn't give any error messages like "194"
I am using wifi i don't use mobile data also my mobile is LG G3 D855 on android lollipop 5.0 which came with the mobile.
So is it my account or my wifi that has a problem or is my phone malfunctioning. Cause I can still download apks and install them just that I cant from google play store...
I can open the play store and find apps just fine, but when i click install, it just loads and never downloads. I also can not download the updates for my current play store apps.

View 8 Replies View RelatedIt seems to be specific to my Moto X and does not occur on my Nexus 5 or Nexus 7. If I have an app updating/installing and turn the screen off, no further action occurs until I turn the screen back on. I actually first noticed this immediately after a factory reset. When trying to update the ~28 apps that were out of date I selected Update and then turned my screen off... After about an hour I turned it back on, and none of the apps had updated. They started updating as soon as I turned the screen on.I have tested this on WiFi and mobile data, and I do have background data enabled and WiFi set to always stay on.

I'm constantly noticing that Play Store gets stuck in "Downloading" when trying to update apps or install new ones and never actually starts until I completely restart the phone. Chrome also gets stuck loading pages that are non-Google sites, and I can't seem to download anything as they all get queued.
I tried clearing cache + data on play store, play services, download manager and even a factory reset. Everything works when I reboot, but after some hours it get "stuck" again, every day. I bought my son his first cell phone 2 days. When we search for different apps the Google Play Store crashes and gives the error message: 'Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped." We took the phone back to Verizon and they replaced it but it is still happening. We tried a factory reset and logged in with a different Google account but we still get the error message. Other apps like web browsing, Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp work perfectly fine but it seems like those three apps will just not work on Wi-Fi.
I googled online and they told me to delete cache and make sure the time and date was correct. I did that and no results.

There appears to be a issue again using iOS 3.1.3 which I have on my original 2G Iphone trying to download new apps from the Appstore.
Just to be clear, iOS 3.1.3 is the latest version that can be installed and be supported on the original Iphone 2G (can't update the iOS to a later version).
If you try to download/install a new app from the App Store using iOS 3.1.3 and click on the install button, it turns green and does not do anything. If you have an existing app using iOS 3.13 and there is a update for the app, then the install might download. This isn't a problem with the device needing to be restored, it is a problem with a some change Apple did on their end to the AppStore thats not compatible with iOS3.1.3.
This happened before back in Dec 2011 and it took a few weeks to get Apple to admitt it was their problem and install a fix at their end for the App Store for iOS 3.13. The Apple support people kept on telling everyone to try to restore your device which was a waste of time.

Clicking on the link gets me to the download site and it asks me to sign in or register if I don't have a Nokia account. Whoever designed this was either on drugs or intoxicated, because without a nokia account they don't send you a download link in the first place. Since I do post this message here, I obviously did register and have an account. The problem is, my username and Password is not being recognized and it sends me into a never ending loop, with other words I am unable to sign in and download the application.i am at my wits ends and I am fuming at Nokia for giving me such a hard time to download a simple mobile app. My phone model is the E71x and both apps I received the link for are supposed to be compatible with this model.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just switched from an iPhone to a Galaxy S5 this past Monday. I transferred all of my music from iTunes to Google Play and have no music or files in the Galaxy music player. Yesterday, I downloaded a ringtone from Google Play but I'm unable to get the ringtone in my phones ringtone library. If I go into the Google Play player, the ringtone is there and I'm able to play it.
I have done multiple Google searches and watched YouTube videos and could not find any remedy. What I have found says to go into the Galaxy player to make a song a ringtone but all my music and the ringtone I downloaded is in Google Play and I don't know how to get the files into the Galaxy music player. There's no option to make a copy of the ringtone or file. When I go into the phones files, the ringtone is not available under downloads, music, or ringtones. I downloaded ringtone maker and I still can't get the ringtone there.
On a side note, is there any app or anything else that is recommended to get ringtones? I really like this phone but this issue does make me miss iTunes since I could easily download a ringtone and it would show up in my sound choices for ringtones.
On a VZW S6 Edge and have been unable to download any apps for about the last week or 10 days.
