BB Torch 9800 :: When Phone Boots Get An Error : 122 Error As Well As Another Error Sent From 1000000000 That Just Has A Garbled Message
Sep 16, 2010I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

Nov 28, 2011before this problem happends, about 3 days ago i've got an error message saying built in media got an error so must repair it or wipe it.. i tried to repair it, but it keeps saying built in media repair failed. so i wipe it..but, a couple of seconds after i click wipe built in media, my blackberry reboots by itself..after it finished rebooting, my blackberry tells me built in media got an error again.and i tried to wipe it again but my blackberry still rebooting it self again.this happends 4 times in a rowand yes, the blackberry still rebooting itself again.but, this time, my blackberry didn't finish rebooting, the loading bar stuck in 3/4 of the bar.of the bar.so today i tried to fix it with tried to restore it to factory default.. but it keeps failed connecting to the device..the third time i tried, it got a white blank screen when reaching the 3/4 loading bar..

However, although the email, text and BBM alert icons appear on the PlayBook they cannot be opened. The Bridge contacts and calender will also not open on the Playbook.When attempting to open Text messages on the PlayBook the notice "Text Messages was disabled by IT policy" is displayed. There is no IT Policy in place.When attempting to open BBM on the PlayBook the notice "You must accept the BlackBerry Messenger Licence Agreement on your smartphone to use BBM on your PlayBook". It has been accepted on the phone.I've tried unpairing, rebooting both devices and repairing to no avail.

Jan 24, 2012For last 2 weeks I've had a SIM card error message on my Torch 9800. It also shows an SOS message where the signal strength should be. The error message goes away when I'm in range of a wireless network which my phone has been set up for (my home, and where I work). Otherwise it won't receive/sent messages when I'm outside one of these zones. I've had tried opening the phone up and removing/reinserting the SIM card. It doesn't work. Now I have a phone that pretty much doesn't work, except in very small zones. What can I do to get my phone fixed. Does this sound like something I can do myself, or do I need to send it to RIM to be fixed.
