BB Torch :: It Gives Me Sim Card Error Message
Apr 22, 2012My sim card works perfectly in other cellphones. I have tried using it in my old BB, but also gives me the sim card error message.

BB Torch :: SIM Card Error Message On 9800
Jan 24, 2012For last 2 weeks I've had a SIM card error message on my Torch 9800. It also shows an SOS message where the signal strength should be. The error message goes away when I'm in range of a wireless network which my phone has been set up for (my home, and where I work). Otherwise it won't receive/sent messages when I'm outside one of these zones. I've had tried opening the phone up and removing/reinserting the SIM card. It doesn't work. Now I have a phone that pretty much doesn't work, except in very small zones. What can I do to get my phone fixed. Does this sound like something I can do myself, or do I need to send it to RIM to be fixed.

May 10, 2010I have a problem with my 9860's Memory card. I bought the phone on July 2012, and it work perfectly before. Until this couple of days it started to have problem. I just upgraded my Os to os 7.1 bundle 2061 (v7.1.0.714, platform 5.1.0.532) last week. And after that I felt the error started to appears. It happened to my wife's 9860 also. luckily I cold manage to restore the picture and file. And today the problem occur again. The picture in my media card are showing when I open the library, but when I open the file it got corrupted or it showed correctly and then disappear from the screen.

Sep 16, 2010I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

Nov 28, 2011before this problem happends, about 3 days ago i've got an error message saying built in media got an error so must repair it or wipe it.. i tried to repair it, but it keeps saying built in media repair failed. so i wipe it..but, a couple of seconds after i click wipe built in media, my blackberry reboots by itself..after it finished rebooting, my blackberry tells me built in media got an error again.and i tried to wipe it again but my blackberry still rebooting it self again.this happends 4 times in a rowand yes, the blackberry still rebooting itself again.but, this time, my blackberry didn't finish rebooting, the loading bar stuck in 3/4 of the bar.of the bar.so today i tried to fix it with tried to restore it to factory default.. but it keeps failed connecting to the device..the third time i tried, it got a white blank screen when reaching the 3/4 loading bar..

Mar 5, 2012i have tried reformating the card which didnt seam to work so i formated it useing my old samsung diva but still the xperia shows the error message. Have done this dozens of times, but this time when I re-inserted the media card I got a message saying "Media card inserted contains errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer." Nov 11, 2011it was locked to the network Orange here in spain, the seller before giving it to me got it unlocked.but it doesnt not work with any other network except Orange.have tried (Vodafone,Movistar) also another t-mobile sim from germany... all give me the insert sim card(SOS) error. have checked in the options (MEPD)and all the options are disactivated, so looks like its unlocked correctly... and when i use it with a Orange sim(Original carrier) it works perfect.
