Phone keeps freezing and now it's saying I have a card error and the media card repair has failed. I have lost all my photos.....tried putting card in a usb but computer telling me no photos there.

View 2 Replies View Relatedit was locked to the network Orange here in spain, the seller before giving it to me got it unlocked.but it doesnt not work with any other network except Orange.have tried (Vodafone,Movistar) also another t-mobile sim from germany... all give me the insert sim card(SOS) error. have checked in the options (MEPD)and all the options are disactivated, so looks like its unlocked correctly... and when i use it with a Orange sim(Original carrier) it works perfect.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor last 2 weeks I've had a SIM card error message on my Torch 9800. It also shows an SOS message where the signal strength should be. The error message goes away when I'm in range of a wireless network which my phone has been set up for (my home, and where I work). Otherwise it won't receive/sent messages when I'm outside one of these zones. I've had tried opening the phone up and removing/reinserting the SIM card. It doesn't work. Now I have a phone that pretty much doesn't work, except in very small zones. What can I do to get my phone fixed. Does this sound like something I can do myself, or do I need to send it to RIM to be fixed.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my 9860's Memory card. I bought the phone on July 2012, and it work perfectly before. Until this couple of days it started to have problem. I just upgraded my Os to os 7.1 bundle 2061 (v7.1.0.714, platform 5.1.0.532) last week. And after that I felt the error started to appears. It happened to my wife's 9860 also. luckily I cold manage to restore the picture and file. And today the problem occur again. The picture in my media card are showing when I open the library, but when I open the file it got corrupted or it showed correctly and then disappear from the screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got a Transcend 16gb class 6 Micro SDHC yesterday. Everything went well until I put it in my Torch 9800and formatted it like it requested. Afterwards I received the media card fatal error.Here's where it getrs strange: I assumed the card had corrupted, but upon using the adapter to access it on the computer, it worked fine there. Tried reformatting from the comp, still works on the comp., but upon insertion in the phone, fatal error. I tried puting it in my old 8520, works like a charm, no issues. Tried reformatting using the 8520, still a fatal error when inserted into the Torch. My old card that I was using was a Transcend 8gb Class 6, Which still functions with no probs.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid X and I recently decided to upgrade my sd card to a PNY 16gb card. For some reason, every time I add music to the card I attempt to play the music and it might work fine but after a few songs, the phone slows down and freezes. I've added music to the card a few different ways and I keep getting the same results. For instance, I initially put the card in the phone and formatted it and connected it to my pc with the usb cord and transferred songs that way had issues. Then I used a card reader and formatted the card on the pc, loaded up songs then installed the card into the phone had issues. The only time I had a little 'success' was when I added songs via usb to the card little by little. I added 2 album and used it for a little bit and it seemed fine. Then I added 2 more albums and it seemed ok. By the time I hit about 10-12 albums it got bogged down and the phone froze up on me. I don't know if this matters but in each case I'm just creating a folder called 'Music' and I put all the songs into it.
I'm not sure if the 16gb card is too 'big' or if maybe the type of card I have is wrong. I've also read some stuff about 'media scans'. Does the phone automatically scan new files that are on the sd card and by adding too many at a time the phone just slows down to a crawl?
I'm trying to restore my 3GS so I can eventually sell it, but it's not wanting to.When I try to restore through iTunes, it freezes at "Restoring iPhone software", and the phone just shows the Apple logo with a progress bar that's stuck.
I rebooted my Macbook, reinstalled iTunes, did a hard reset on the phone, tried it from DFU mode, and I don't know what else to try.It had the unjailbroken 4.0GM installed on it if that makes any difference.

View 1 Replies View Relatedthe last time my battery drained and upon recharging and restarting the phone loaded normally to the homescreen. But when I tried entered the password, it froze. After sometime it simply went white and displayed 'App Error 523'. I tried hard restarting it several times but to no avail.This has happening several times before, however all those times upon receiving a call the phone started working fine. That didn't work this time either.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi've had my E72 since oct 10 and during that time i've had a few accounts of freezing when ending applications etc but nothing major. Also i was having the access point menu randomly flashing up. I noticed these issues more (the access point menu entirley) after i updated the software. I was also noticing the keypad not lighting up everytime i used it, it would come on half way through a text.
I took the phone to my local express repair center where they simply hard reset the phone although im not sure if they did anything to the keypad/light sensor. Since getting the phone back its freezing worse than before and the keypad seems to be no better. Through looking on here i've found that memory cards can cause freezing and i've recently swapped my old samsung one for the one supplied with the phone. I also didn't realise about the light sensor but the keypad has been unlit in the dark before!Are the supplied memory cards just bad or is it the handset and has anyone else had issues with there keypad light?

Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy brand New Tourch 9810 keeps on freezing up - I have to take the battery out in order to get it working again - I can not get onto Facebook, my BBM's doesnt go through, Sms' doesnt go through and when I tried to make a call it says - Call failed. I can not receive calls either - it goes straight to voicemail.
I can not send pics via BBM either - although it show send on my side - the receiver never gets them.
I really like Blackberry but are so frustrated that I want to get another make of phone!

I unlocked it and im using it for Tmobile....The actual problem is that I want to buy the Playbook and use it with my phone so I went to Best buy to test it... I was able to pair it because I read overthere that i needed the Blackberry bridge... Everything worked fine except the BBM won't bridge with the playbook.. I came home and read a lil bit online about it and noticed that I had to upgrade my BBM to 5.0.3.22 which I did... so when I went back to best buy to test it, I tried turning the bridge on and it froze my phone to the point that i had to remove the battery 3 times... I gave up and left Best buy with no success... I came home and the phone was still acting stupid, so I unninstalled the Bridge...
my concern is... why was it working fine before i upgraded my BBM to 5.0.3.22 (except for the BBM Bridge with playbook)... I mean it wouldn't freeze my torch or anything like that... I'm currently running os 6.0 bundle 695 (v6.0.0.246, platform 6.4.0.105)I really want the playbook but the main features im interested in is to bridge with my Torch..Another problem i have is that i can't download anything from the App world.. I could see apps but when I try to download it will say that the application is not available through app world... I mean ANY app that i try to download.
Had a phone call this morning and my phone fronze, didnt display the call screen but allowed me to answer the call.
Ever since then the phone has been freezing when slid open. Its fine when I keep it closed and just use the touch screen though.
Updated to the latest OS last week (V6.0.0.534).
Today I've:
Tried reboot.
Tried security wipe.
Tried rolling back to last OS release.
Tried latest OS.
Nothing works, still freezing when slid open. The screen has gone strange a couple of times, hard to explain but its green/red/blue colour only, and blurred.
i got told to do a software update of blackberry torch 9810 an its froze at phone options 1of1 anyone know how to sort this without breaking my phone
