Jul 6, 2012I have an iPhone 4 on 3 UK, with unlimited data and unlimited tethering. I also have an LG smart tv, but no Wifi dongle with it, just standard RJ45 ethernet port.
Can I use my iPhone as a hotspot, connected to my laptop either via Wifi or USB, and set up an Ad-hoc network on the laptop to allow my tv internet access via ethernet cable? The laptop is running on windows 7 if that makes any difference.

Nov 9, 2012I have a Torch 9810 and PlayBook..Torch 9810 7.1 bundle 2061..Blackberry Bridge 2.1.0.26..PlayBook OS 2.1.0.1088..BES is used..The Bridge connects to the PlayBook and will allow remote control and bridge browser to be used. However, although the email, text and BBM alert icons appear on the PlayBook they cannot be opened. The Bridge contacts and calender will also not open on the Playbook.When attempting to open Text messages on the PlayBook the notice "Text Messages was disabled by IT policy" is displayed. There is no IT Policy in place.When attempting to open BBM on the PlayBook the notice "You must accept the BlackBerry Messenger Licence Agreement on your smartphone to use BBM on your PlayBook". It has been accepted on the phone.I've tried unpairing, rebooting both devices and repairing to no avail.

It works perfectly with my Bold 9700 and it used to work with the Torch as well.All of a sudden it started not to charge the Torch (wall charger). You plug it in and there is no response from the phone whatsoever.But, if you plug it to your PC/Laptop it charges through the USB power.Another thing we noticed is that it no longer gives you any options like "usb drive" "sync media" or "charge only". Also, it is a bit wiggly on the phone side (fitting of the microUSB plug). It wasn't as wiggly before the problems, but there doesn't seem to be any obvious physical damage or any reason for a damage (as much as we know).

Sep 10, 2012I have recently added my company email on Blackberry Torch 9800. Whenever I get any mail on my BB and I read it, while Outlook is not open on my laptop, the mail is not delivered on my laptop at all. I have already ticked the "leave a copy of messages on Server" in accounts settings.
Further, I receive mails on my BB in bunches after a gap varying from 20 mins to 1 hour after the sender has sent the mail to me. I receive from 4 - 10 mails at one single time, but not as and when they are posted. After facing these problems, I upgraded the OS to 6.0.0 bundle 2647, however the behavior has not changed.
