I am unable to import photos from my phone to my laptop using desktop software. I have taken new photos and moved them from 'camera pictures' to 'picture library' but BB desktop software does not recognise that there are new photos to import.

Importing photos to the Nexus 6P directly from a DSLR camera.I have a Nikon D7000, OTG Type-C USB cable and a standard USB mini cable.Everything physically connects fine, and when I power-on the Nikon, the Google Photos app starts immediately with a "Camera Importer" title bar at the top of the screen. Then within a few seconds, it crashes with a "Unfortunately Photos has stopped" message.
Should this work? It seems like it is close.
I did very briefly once see a message about "MTP" but it flashed so quickly, I couldn't see all of it. I believe that is referring to the Media Transfer Protocol.

if it is possible to view photos that have been transferred from the phone to a laptop. I have wanted to transfer photos from my phone to my laptop but when I try to view the photos on my laptop it only shows the thumbnails so you have no way of knowing what the photos are? Just wondered if there is a way of fixing this or is the phone just not capable of doing this
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince purchasing my iphone 5s It has never worked or been visible on my laptop (Itunes will back it up but as for getting photos off it - has never let me) I have tried EVERYTHING. Currently upgrading my phone and don't want to lose all my photos.
The device is unlocked, I have tried it on my home and work computer without any avail.
Auto play comes up and when import picture is chosen it states I have none.
As soon as I select "trust computer" on the iphone, the device disappears.
I've updated all drivers and tried random fixes and nothing seems to work. I read somewhere that having a photo that was saved from a website maybe whats stopping it? I have thousands of photos so going through them all and deleting saves ones isn't exactly a possibility.Â

Recently I have had a problem which has envoked many levels of stress and frustration to my daily life. Whenever I connect my iPhone 5c to my computer, it begins to charge. I open my iphone and it asks "trust this computer". I hit trust and then it tries to import photos and videos on my computer from my iPhone, even though there are 0 new photos/videos to be imported. If I click "cancel import" on my computer it will basically disconnect itself from my computer, without being manually disconnected, and then reconnect only to begin the whole process again. My iPhone does not recognize as a device on itunes, and my PC (Windows 8) doesn't even inform me when I connect it. Â
My iPhone works on other computers, it's only my computer one which has the issue. I have re installed itunes twice, and restarted the Apple Mobile Device Support on my PC. Â

Curious if this is a Windows 8.1 issue or a 1020 issue. When I import photos some of the more recent ones don't get imported. For all I know some further back aren't making it in either. I also noted that the Camera Roll import using the Windows Phone app only seems to be importing the low-res images. Are there settings to cause this to import the high-res too?

I recently added memory to my MacBook Pro so I could upgrade to Lion and use the cloud for my contact list. It's been a bit of a mess, since I use Entourage as my email program.The REAL problem I'm having now is that my iPhone 4 now won't sync. iTunes "quits unexpectedly" at stage 7 (of 8) in the syncing process, where it says it's importing photos. My iPhoto is '09, version 8.1.2 Is this not compatible with Lion?

i plugged my Iphone into my Mac to transfer via USB, nothing has happened. (Not even Itunes opening up).
Usually it all starts up and i transfer by Nikon Transfer software which I use for my camera.

I need to be able to take photos for work, but it is also requisite to keep them arranged in specific folders so I know what they are and can be coalated at the end of the day.
1. Within the BB pc software I cant see how to view picture according to thiere respective folders. Also, how do you "multiple select" photos?
2. Accessing the BB filesystem throuh windows (J:homeuserpictures), i can only see one folder even though i have ten, in addition to the Wallpaper folder. I desperatly need to find a wokflow to get thiese pics off within thier proper folders on a daily basis.
I put my vCard contacts in folder on my SD card then i try to import it into my z2 it imported it already but it keep showing in the notification area it still importing the contacts and i even can't cancel it is there away to fix that...

I synced my google account and all my google contacts popped up on the people app and did the same with my hotmail account.
Now when I try to refresh my contacts in Watsapp I see nothing, but most of my contacts use watsapp. And when I recieve a contact over watsapp from a friend of mine and when I try to save it, the people app asks me where do I want to save my contact in which account (hotmail or google)? is it normal? Cause I am not able to save it on phone directly and I guess watsapp wouldn't take the contacts that are stored in a account, it has to be on phone.

I have a few dozen photos on my Blackberry (on the BB's memory, not a memory card), and I am trying to upload them to my laptop. I have downloaded the Desktop Manager from Blackberry, and followed the directions (go to media, click launch,etc) but I cannot find my photos anywhere! I changed my phone to a camera device on the phone itself so I could choose to import my pictures to my laptop. God forbid its that easy. I opened the folder full of my imported pictures and the folder is just full of random stock photos. None of which were actually on my device. It did manage to copy a few pictures that were actually on my device but even then, it made hundreds of random copies of the same 10 photos. Doing this on my old iphone would've taken 30 seconds. As soon as I my upgrade comes back around i'm most definitely going back to apple. I've had nothing but problems with this phone. I wouldn't even have had to upload these pictures to my laptop if I wasnt going on my 3RD device in the same year.
