View 19 RepliesSo here's the deal: every 2-3 hours or so my (somewhat new) phone vibrates in a short burst of 2-3 vibrations.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had a 3GS iphone for about a year and a half and just last month it has started to randomly vibrate. Whenever I switch it to silent mode I will set my phone down and the bell symbol will continue to pop up as if I'm switching it on and off of silent mode. Every time the symbol pops up it vibrates. Sometimes it will do it five or six times in a row when it's just laying on a table. How I can make it stop?

I've been using Package Disabler Pro and I'm not sure if its something that was considered bloatware or not by the app. I enabled all the disabled packages and it still does does not come back.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI had my phone unlocked and it was sleeping and then when I came to turn it on nothing would happen. It wouldn't even come on when I plug the charger in. I got it to restart by pressing the bottom volume and power button at the same time.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the past week my phone has been randomly restarting itself. It is updated to the current version. I've never had any problems with it before, and I would have ignored it but it seems to be happening at least once a day.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have had my galaxy S5 since April (a couple weeks after it was released) My phone has worked flawlessly until mid august.. it has been having this bad habit of restarting it self when I am using it...
Things I have done > Factory Reset: I did a factory reset and while I was uploading contacts through kies it restarted.I have used another launcher: it still restarted while I was web browsing. ( did not download any apps for a couple days and problem still persisted randomly due to web browsing) Turned off Google Sync: It seemed to have solved the problem because it did not restart for like 2 days, but while using Pandora it lagged the music and it ended up restarting again.Cleared the cache/cookies: did nothing and still randomly restarted. Removed all facebook applications: problem still persist after a while of use.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 running complete stock 5.1.1 G920F.This happened to me quite a few times over the past few days. It happens sometimes when I am doing something on the phone or the phone is in the pocket. What happens is that the phone turns off or something of that nature because the only way I can turn it on after this is by plugging it in to charge.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo all my pictures randomly deleted from my phone. I went to check my gallery and realized all my pics were deleted. All I did was take one picture, and went to check my gallery, and all my pics were gone. Not too happy, but good thing I save my pics on Google Drive.
View 21 Replies View RelatedMy s6 is making a funny noise randomly. Not sure what's making it happen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy wallpaper changes over night and I don't know why. I don't have it set to live, I don't have an app that changes it and I haven't done the lollipop reset that ive read most people with this problem have done. I keep pushing it off a day until I start hearing good things. So far the update seems to turn your phone into garbage. I've already had to reset my phone once bc it crapped out on me and it's barely a year old so I am not updating.
View 7 Replies View Relatedthe phone maybe 6/7 weeks ago, plugged into laptop, checked up to date, restored some data from S3 backup, installed a few standard apps, all good.. After two weeks or so phone starts randomly rebooting - not with any specific app, could even be sat on the table and you'd suddenly hear the start up noise. Spoke to EE Support, tried some 'resetting the network' thing from their end, no change. Called again and was passed to Samsung Support - talked me through a hard reset. No change. Posted back to Samsung. Came back a few days later saying no fault found but they wiped it, updated it and it's good to go. Booted and phone was crashing every time I opened Internet and a few other apps. Didn't get as far as installing apps or backup. Posted back again. Phone came back again, no fault found but same problems straight out of the box. Called and explained again, posted again, this time they've told me that the phone has been damaged and is beyond repair and included a screenshot of a screen saying 'Know Warranty VOID 0x1'.
After having a rant about their packaging and that it must have been knocked in their support centre (yes, that is my level of knowledge of phone rooting) I've just Googled and found it actually means that the phone has been rooted. The phone definitely hasn't been rooted by me on purpose and the only update I've run is through Kies. The only apps installed via Play Store. Is it possible that something that Samsung Support has done or asked me to do has changed this flag?
Twice in the past week I got my phone out and it was off and unresponsive. I had to do soft boot with power volume down to get the phone working. This is something that I have not experienced with other android phones. I am on Verizon with stock Galaxy S6 running 5.0.2.
Is this a defective phone or some application causing problems. What steps can I take to troubleshoot the problem. Having my phone randomly stop working is unacceptable as this is my primary line. I can't afford to miss calls.
Having a issue where apps will randomly launch when I unlock my phone (using the fingerprint scanner). It's just not one app it's many different apps on my phone. And no none of the apps where open before hand.

Ive seen people complain about speaker phone automatically being on when they answer the phone. However my problem is sort of the opposite. When I am on a call and using speakerphone is randomly shuts off. I dont realize it until its the other persons turn to talk and I can hardly hear them.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy S5 will simply stop playing mp3's whether stored on the sd card or internally. I have tried limiting the number of background apps, tried three different player, and installed an app that is supposed to keep music playing. None of these things have worked. It will randomly shut down at any time on any track and sometimes restart minutes latter. Random stops when playing music?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the EE variant of the G920F galaxy s6 in the UK. At least once a day the phone will reboot for no apparent reason what so ever. This has been since the 5.1.1 update, I have factory reset and cleared cache and it still happens. Thinking of flashing the international software to see if it happens with that.
View 4 Replies View RelatedOver the past several weeks, while not being used (ie lock screen) my phone has randomly played about 10-20 seconds of audio while the screen remains black. It has consistently been from what seems to be a video where the person is showing a DIY for auto repair. When I unlock it i do not find any video apps open. I have not viewed any videos like this but this seemed to start after i was looking at some cars for sale online.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis recently started happening. I will be walking with my phone in my pocket and it is locked, but suddenly my music will pause for no apparent reason. I look at my phone and nothing has happened except my music is now paused. I didn't even touch my headphones. It happens around 3 times every time I take a 30 minute walk. It is so irritating to have your music abruptly stop. One time it went completely haywire and the voice dialer came up and the volume cranked itself all the way up and the robotic google voice nearly damaged my ear drums. Now sometimes the voice dialer comes up once it pauses, but very rarely. It will normally just pause randomly.
I use to believe it was my pocket pausing the music because the touch screen is very terrible on this phone and would skip my music when I was walking but I've since flipped my phone the other way in my pocket so thats not possible.
I've turned off all the gestures, motions, airview, etc.
Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this as even the mighty Google didn't offer a great deal.
A lot of people post about the 'Battery fully charged' notification being a pain but, I turn my phone off every night when charging but even then it vibrates when the charge is complete.
If there any way to disable this feature without rooting the handset?
About 5 times now, when I double tap the home button to open the camera, the phone vibrates and the viewfinder "distorts". By distorts, the best way I can describe it, is think of the surface of a lake and a slight breeze creating tiny waves. This lasts for about 3 to 8 seconds and then all is fine. Or, if I don't want to wait, I can go home and come back to the camera. Also there seems to be a slight audio tone like a "hmmmmmm" but I can't tell if it's actual audio out of the speaker or from the material of the phone because of the vibrating. It has only happened about 5 times, this just started 3 days ago and it seems to be happening more frequently.
View 13 Replies View RelatedAs the title says, while my phone is on silent (and even on "All Alerts Off"), my phone somehow seems to vibrate when a phone call comes in. It works perfectly fine on SMS and everything else; it's only a problem for phone calls. I have went into the profile settings and it is set to silent and vibrate off. I even have done a master reset of the phone. So I don't know what the deal is.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Bold 2 9700. Till 2 weeks ago it worked perfectly, 2 weeks ago while I was sleeping my phone ranged, then I pressed a button(I am not sure but should be the mute button) and suddenly it started to ring only once(then it starts the vibration) while in holster. I looked every setting of it but could not find anything wrong.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone will now only vibrate when the screen on the right hand side is pushed down. The side of my iPhone has previously come slightly apart (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=881919) which I glued together. But it didn't get the vibrate going again.Anyone know how I could fix this? Or how much I could sell it for whilst not vibrating..?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy phone is usually set on loud, but at least once a day it randomly stops playing my text message alert sound, and when I get a text, it starts vibrating endlessly and won't stop until I check the message. It's saying that my ringtones are invalid and won't play any of them. It also won't accept picture messages while it's in this mode. I can fix it by taking the battery out and putting it back in, but then I have to wait the 10 minutes it takes to turn back on, and this gets very annoying.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a really simple a question, I can't seem to find it anywhere on the phone or web. When you press a button or type a message, it vibrates, how do I turn this off? I went into the keyboard settings, on a h t c there is a touch type option but I don't seem that.
View 9 Replies View RelatedUsing a Nextel Curve - when a call comes in the phone vibrates first, then begins ringing. I miss calls all the time at home because I don't hear it vibrate, and it only rings for about 5 seconds. I've downloaded ringers that are 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds in length and it doesn't make a difference. Vibrate, vibrate, ring for 5 sec, missed call... Can anyone point me in the right direction?
View 8 Replies View RelatedThe phone vibrates thrice when I try to turn it on, this happened after I used it underwater, approximately 20 minutes after. I tried to boot it b pressing the power and vol key down together, it just shows the sony logo, and then vibrates thrice and turns off again.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHaving issues with listening to music at or above 75% volume? My phone vibrates really bad and is distorted. I don't have any type of equalizer app installed either, not sure if theres somewhere in the stock settings to change the preset maybe? This is through Rocket Player, Pandora or youtube.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is pretty frustrating - anytime I get an incoming phone call when my 9700 is set to Silent, it still vibrates. I've gone through the profile settings and alerts menus, and they all have vibrate set to OFF under the Silent profile. Battery pull has no effect. Anything else I should try?
