Jun 16, 2012I used to use Nokia Photo Browser to see my pictures, instead of the default Gallery (hope this is the right name in English).
Somehow, recently I couldn't see the latest pictures with Photo Browser and I found that my Camera NOW stores the pictures in E:DCIM100NOKIA instead of E:PICTURESecc.I've tried a rest of the settings of Camera but with no success.

Feb 27, 2011I'm selling my E63 and so want to clear all my personal data. Removed the memory card and SIM. Done "Restore factory settings" on the phone menu. Done *#7370#. But still when I go into the phone search function, I can find the headers and email addresses of all my old emails that were on there! How do I purge the search results or just properly get rid of ALL my data on the phone?

Sep 20, 2011I have E63 which I bought & used in Australia (vodafone) for calls and internet there.phone is unlocked and have been using it in holland (telfort) for calls for the last 6 months.subsrcibed internet last week through provider. had several contacts with customerservice and put in all the right settings. now internet works on other phone,but on my Nokia E63 it says "Packet data: packet data connection not available"

Jan 20, 2010i want to know how can i disable All Data transfer and Data roaming on my E72 when i change of country ?on my old blackberry , i had the option : Data disable : yes/no so i check on user manuel that i can use Single mode on network parameter and put it only in GSM . But when i try to use the web or ovi the system ask my to connect my internet and it's work , but i'm always in GSM mode , so i suppose that GSM mode cannot the good option for disable ALL DATA TRAFFIC.

After resetting no problems for some hours. I get my e-mails and connection to internet. but then again...

Jan 20, 2012I have an E6. I have configured a GMail and Yahoo email accounts but have configured it to retrieve only at 8am. So data will be used only during that time or whenever a known internet accessing application is running.This was for around 3 months. As soon as I exit say Opera, the data connection would be closed.But for the past 2 weeks, the data connection refuses to terminate. Even when I manually terminate by going into Connections, it gets reconnected automatically.This behaviour appears suspiciously like a virus / spyware running hidden because task manager shows no running application other than F-Secure which is disabled except for theft protection.How to find out if there is any hidden process accessing the internet?How to know which applications run at startup?

However, I can view Missed Calls, Dialed Calls, Received Calls, Incoming and Outgoing SMS. This problem has started since I updated my Phone Software to Version 022.014 (Release Date 2011-07-05).

Aug 20, 2014I went to clear out cache data in my apps the other day and noticed almost all programs show 12.00Kb cache sizes, but the app data listed has grown to ridiculous sizes. Facebook, all Google programs, etc. Nearly every installed program. Facebook's shows its app data at almost 200 MB!!! Wtf?! It's less than a 15MB program, so clearly the cache files are being stored as app data, and therefore cannot be removed without wiping configs for the programs.

Oct 9, 2011I took a backup of my E 72 using PC suite on my laptop. and fomatted the memory card and took a hard reset of my phone as after software update the phn stopped alerting on receiving an sms. but now when I am restoring the data, i see a message everytime that "restore successful.phone will restart" but after restart there is no data restored from the back up. and also says that "due to insufficinet memory the back up file was saved on my laptop's desktop with the names - 1.) DEV and 2.) MMC".i need those messages as it has all my bank account details.i tried restoring only the messages from the backup file with extension "nbu." but all in vain.again it says "restore successful.phone will restart" but no messages are seen after the restart.
I have tried several times,restoring using ovi suite also but i get a message "something's gone wrong"

Oct 20, 2012I've had my phone since April and has recently started to experience a lot of problems with the handset. I'm best mentioning that my technical know-how is very limited in terms of phones, but I've accepted the fact I'm going to have to run a factory reset on my phone. So the problems I'm experiencing:- All of a sudden, apps start crashing one after the other. So much so that I can't even turn the phone off properly and just have to hold the power button down until it goes off itself.- Sometimes it just freezes, and when it does, it rapidly drains the battery.- Other times it just randomly decides to turn itself off (this has happened during the night resulting in me sleeping in for work because my alarm has failed to go off!)- When apps have crashed and I've had to turn it on and off again, all information stored (ie. texts, photos, Twitter feed) after the 16th October is gone!I've even went on Kies Air to start transferring photos, videos, etc. to my laptop, but even that keeps crashing, meaning it constantly disconnects from the laptop. I cleared out a lot of old apps I don't use anymore, but they reappear when I turn it back on, resetting back to pre-16th October like I mentioned.

Feb 24, 2011I have bought a Nokia E71 from a friend and when trying to download something from the Ovi store it asks for my user name and password, but says my user name and password are wrong and won't connect. I am using the same ones I use to connect to Ovi on my computer and it accepts them OK. Could this be because the previous owner's user name and password have been stored somewhere on the phone and as a security measure it won't let me in with my user name and password?
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to log in to Ovi on my phone so that I can download an application? The one I want at the moment is Sports Tracker so that I can check how many miles I do when going for a walk. I could perhaps find it online and download straight from their website, but I do really need to be able to download things through Ovi if required.
