I have brand new Nokia E-72 phone. I have downloaded and installed Nokia Ovi suite 3.0.0.290 and have updated the phone. My problem is I DO NOT have a vibrate profile under profiles in setting. It only switches from normal to silent.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have setup and used a SIP profile through the advanced VOIP settings etc.However once a net call is made, the profile registers with the ITSP, but then stays linked whilst the E72 is within range of one of the WiFi access points.Is there any way of manually disabling the profile so it disconnects from SIP until another call is started?

Has anybody reading this post had this problem? I may have found the cause, and am hoping to get feedback.Until recently, the only third party program always running on my E73 was F-Secure's free Mobile Security app. (The program lets you remotely track, lock, and wipe your phone via SMS if it's lost.) I have found that running Java apps like Opera Mini and the MidpSSH telnet/ssh client will sometimes make the clock vanish, and sometimes additionally the UI of a newly-launched program (Java or otherwise) may lock up. Removing Mobile Security fixes all these issues.So is anybody who sees their clock randomly disappear also running Mobile Security?

View 3 Replies View Related've recently bought a nokia E72 after losing my E71 and I'm really disappointed with this mobile phone. I share most of the problems shared by most of the users. Messy software, awful sound, horrible build quality with lights comig from everywhere. But lately I found another problem with my mobile. When I create a new message, in the messaging menu, I don't have the option to create a MMS message. All the options I have are ''message (sms) / audio message / avatar sms / e-mail''. No signs of MMS creation option. I tried to uninstall the ''avatar sms'' software to check if the MMS menu would appear but still nothing. I've check the MMS settings and all the settings are ok, but still nothing in the messagin menu to create a MMS.

The REFLOW option is missing. The version that it shows me is Adobe Reader LE 2.5.202 Nokia_S603.0. I was generally a bit ticked-off with my E7, particularly because its USB port had gone extremely dodgy. sorted by my service provider by simply swapping the handset. The new one, however, has come with a completely different set of software loaded. Most of which is fine, but the Location App, with GPS data has dissappeared, and it's one of the items I used a lot.
I've looked at other GPS apps, but they don't have the functionality of the "location" app, mainly the ability to set a destination (via longitude and lattitude) and have it direct you there. This app has been on Nokia phones for years and years, and yet suddlenly this phone doesn't have it. Most odd.
Is it available for download from anywhere? I've looked for it on OVI for quite some time, but to no avail.
I resetted my E7 yesterday, and noticed that Quickoffice and Adobe readers disappeared! I tried reinstalling Belle from the nokia suite, all went well, but QO & Adobe are still missing. I tried deleting the downloaded installation files from c:usersall users directory, re-downloading the nokia belle update (~350mb) and re-reinstalling the OS, but still QO and Adobe are missing. I tried *#7370#, "delete and restore" etc, but to no avail. I tried changing OSes - WinXP, Win7, Win7 64bit etc, but still no avail.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe pre-installed Text-to-speech language is English (UK), and when I was first testing the phone, there were two Voice options, "Ellen" and "Martin", both listed as "built-in". Today, upon trying this feature again, only "Ellen" was present. I do not believe that I have accidentally deleted "Martin". I have, however, updated the phone software using PC Suite (to 071.003). I have tried installing the downloadable voice file, but receive an "Update error" when I do. I am able successfully to install other language packages and their associated voices. This would suggest that the "Martin" built-in voice is still present. Is there a way to recover it (restoring factory settings does not solve the problem;

On the next step it only gives me "exchange active sync" as an option and not the rest of the email providers as it does on my E6 for example.
