Has anybody reading this post had this problem? I may have found the cause, and am hoping to get feedback.Until recently, the only third party program always running on my E73 was F-Secure's free Mobile Security app. (The program lets you remotely track, lock, and wipe your phone via SMS if it's lost.) I have found that running Java apps like Opera Mini and the MidpSSH telnet/ssh client will sometimes make the clock vanish, and sometimes additionally the UI of a newly-launched program (Java or otherwise) may lock up. Removing Mobile Security fixes all these issues.So is anybody who sees their clock randomly disappear also running Mobile Security?

View 3 Replies View Related've recently bought a nokia E72 after losing my E71 and I'm really disappointed with this mobile phone. I share most of the problems shared by most of the users. Messy software, awful sound, horrible build quality with lights comig from everywhere. But lately I found another problem with my mobile. When I create a new message, in the messaging menu, I don't have the option to create a MMS message. All the options I have are ''message (sms) / audio message / avatar sms / e-mail''. No signs of MMS creation option. I tried to uninstall the ''avatar sms'' software to check if the MMS menu would appear but still nothing. I've check the MMS settings and all the settings are ok, but still nothing in the messagin menu to create a MMS.

I was generally a bit ticked-off with my E7, particularly because its USB port had gone extremely dodgy. sorted by my service provider by simply swapping the handset. The new one, however, has come with a completely different set of software loaded. Most of which is fine, but the Location App, with GPS data has dissappeared, and it's one of the items I used a lot.
I've looked at other GPS apps, but they don't have the functionality of the "location" app, mainly the ability to set a destination (via longitude and lattitude) and have it direct you there. This app has been on Nokia phones for years and years, and yet suddlenly this phone doesn't have it. Most odd.
Is it available for download from anywhere? I've looked for it on OVI for quite some time, but to no avail.
I resetted my E7 yesterday, and noticed that Quickoffice and Adobe readers disappeared! I tried reinstalling Belle from the nokia suite, all went well, but QO & Adobe are still missing. I tried deleting the downloaded installation files from c:usersall users directory, re-downloading the nokia belle update (~350mb) and re-reinstalling the OS, but still QO and Adobe are missing. I tried *#7370#, "delete and restore" etc, but to no avail. I tried changing OSes - WinXP, Win7, Win7 64bit etc, but still no avail.

Today, upon trying this feature again, only "Ellen" was present. I do not believe that I have accidentally deleted "Martin". I have, however, updated the phone software using PC Suite (to 071.003). I have tried installing the downloadable voice file, but receive an "Update error" when I do. I am able successfully to install other language packages and their associated voices. Some python apps install and are working fine. Other python apps do not work at all.The icon appears after install, but nothing happens when i try to run the app. This happens whether I try installing on mem card or phone memory.Do I need a different version of python instead?Which one do I need? Will it let me use any python app?
How can u tell if u have the upgraded tour or the first 1. My first 1 was great but the notification icon always stayed on so finally they switched me out and it just seems different the rep said it was by manufacture date but I have not date to find on mine. View 13 Replies View RelatedFor some inexplicable reason the video out functionality of my iPhone 4 no longer works. I thought it might have been a cable issue at first, but I tested it on an Apple composite cable, an Apple component cable, and an Apple HDMI cable. As you can see, I have spent a lot of money on Apple cable products because I use the phone in both home and educational settings that have very different connection options. Now, the cable seems to allow audio to pass through the analog cables, but the HDMI functionality seems to be completely shut down, both video and audio. To be clear, I have already performed a reset and recovery, which did not correct the problem. The iPhone was running iOS 5.1.1 before the reset as well as after. Interestingly, I tested a current generation iPod running iOS 5.1.1 on the cables and the video out worked, including confirmation that the Netflix app works. This is a sudden and disasterous failure for which I have no explanation. The phone has not been damaged or exposed in any way.
