Eseries / Communicators :: E7 Does NOT Vibrate?
Jun 12, 2011I just bought a new nokia e7 two days ago. It works great, i have no error msg's or anything. Just that my vibrating alert/screen vibration does not work. I even tried hard reset. I did not work out of the box to be honest. Is it a bug or it's my phone?

Aug 7, 2010i can't hear any sounds. when i try to listen to music, or go on Internet or anything, i can't hear any sound. but get this: when someone calls me, i can hear the ringtone.after restoring original settings and deleting all my contacts, most of my programs etc (and all my settings, which i've now restored), i noticed that the headphones icon is on the bottom of my screen. if i connect headphones (well, in-ear earbuds), i can hear sounds from my music player, Internet etc, but when i connect or disconnect them, it doesn't even let me choose an enhancement.

Apr 30, 2011I have noticed that my e72 keep producing short (<1s) quiet "beep-like" sounds.Have not been able to figure out the pattern when does it occur - but it beeps at least once an hour or so.The sound is similar to the "auto-confirmation that a text message was sent" sound (which usually happen a few seconds to minute after the text message is sent).how to disable it.

I have a different sound for texting and other notifications. When I get a text I get the vibration but not with any other notification. Vibration intensity is set all the way.

Feb 22, 2010I downloaded ringtones from crackberry a couple hours ago and now my ringers won't work and when I try to play ringtones in the media application it won't let me play them. I tried going through the profiles to make sure they weren't muted or off and nothing is working. I had the exact same problem less than 24 hours ago and the cell phone place just gave me a new phone because they couldn't figure it out either. If I could get some kind of direction as to what I need to do I would appreciate it greatly.

Feb 24, 2011I have bought a Nokia E71 from a friend and when trying to download something from the Ovi store it asks for my user name and password, but says my user name and password are wrong and won't connect. I am using the same ones I use to connect to Ovi on my computer and it accepts them OK. Could this be because the previous owner's user name and password have been stored somewhere on the phone and as a security measure it won't let me in with my user name and password?
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to log in to Ovi on my phone so that I can download an application? The one I want at the moment is Sports Tracker so that I can check how many miles I do when going for a walk. I could perhaps find it online and download straight from their website, but I do really need to be able to download things through Ovi if required.

Mar 2, 2011My problem is, when the phone goes in an area where there's no service, the 3G icon shows up in the right top corner, but when I go back to the area that has service, the 3G icon won't go away and I can't make any calls nor receive. only solution is to turn off the phone and turn back on. can you help me about that, how I can receive service again without restarting the phone?
