I've never heard a phone with a vibrate this loud. It buzzes ss loud it sounds like a bee. Is this how everyone elses is or is there spmething wrong with mine? I'm comparing the sound to a bold 2 and a tour and its insanley loud on comparison
View 6 RepliesHow can I set the profile for phone calls, to vibrate and then ring. I had it set like this on my old Curve. The way it is now, it rings and vibrates at the same time. Having it vibrate before the ring is helpful during meetings.
View 6 Replies View RelatedRecently my Storm2 has been clicking alot louder than its supposed to. Sometimes it will click normal, others it will click like 5 times as loud. It sounds like something under the screen might be loose. The clicking almost has a squeak to it. Anyone else have an issue like this? It doesn't happen all the time. It comes in bursts maybe a few times a day and lasts for awhile each time before going back to normal click. Its starting to get really irritating.

The fact that I was typing/emailing on my device during a meeting was very noticeable to others in the room given the click-click-click-click-click. Is this still the case with the Storm2?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have searched the forums for this and found only problems on the storm 1. I have just switched to the storm 2 after having the storm 1 for almost a year. With the storm 1 almost 95% of the time all I could get the phone to do was the default BB tone for sms,mms and email tones. No matter what I did. Now with storm 2, I thought i would finally have a phone that you could customize the alerts for sms,mms and email.Nope, 99% of the time, just the default tone for all three even with different tones selected and saved.

1.What i am still unsure of is which phone is better suited to Canadian phone companies neither will get 3g coverage but will one work better than the other like will they both get 2.5g coverage?
2. Also i have read that possibly the 9520 will be comin to rogers but i havnt heard anything recent on it does anyone have news on a release date or anything?
3. Right now i am thinkin of buyin the storm 9550 from telus and either goin with fido or terminate my contract with them and stay with telus or move to rogers. Is there a company that is better suited to the storm 2 or will either giv me 2.5g?
I know there are a lot of these threads, you don't have to tell me.But i've read some and didn't find what I was looking for, exactly.I am selling my Storm 2 9550, and want to make sure all my information is out of it. But I don't want to make it incapable of using for the buyer. So how do I wipe or just clean out of phone of my info, and still have it working for him? Should I just do a wipe, and then reinstall the OS? Or will he be able to reinstall the OS when he puts it and installs the BlackBerry desktop software? How does it come when you buy it from Verizon?

I have been looking for the 3 digit number in the red circle. Can you please tell me were to find these. I a have been up for 20 hours and I have steam coming out my ears at Verizon. I am not going to bother transerfering if it isn't the new phone. They are both refurbished.

This happens so much it is getting disgusting and annoying. Has anyone else ran into this and what did you do to fix? I did a search but found nothing on this.

However, i realized i haven't gotten an email in a while (im normally good to get at least 3 an hour from reps in my field) So i looked into it and got on my laptop and checked. Sure enough i had 6 emails waiting there for me!! I don't know what i missed on the phone but i am not getting any emails!! I am getting notifications from facebook, MMS, SMS, and BBM but no emails from my Yahoo account.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am totally brand new towards BB.Recently i had spent about 2 to 3 weeks reading from the forum about 9700 and storm 9520.I myself prefered getting the storm as i want to use the phone more on internet browsing.After reading tonnes of threads, i got to be even more confuse. It seems there are alot of ppl hating this device and alot of ppl loving this device.I guess it has alot to do with the firmware tat each storm is running on. I dun intend to complicates the device and only wish to serve net, bbm, msn, fb with ease. So mostly i might not be getting any 3rd party apps as i am afraid of causing the device to cease normal operations.
My frens had been asking me to get the iphone but i do not wan to be seen carrying the charger all around juz to charge the phone twice a day.My gf is currently using a 9700, but i feel the screen is too small for internet browsing.I had another 1.5 mths more to go for making the decision of getting storm 2. I really hope those verteran user of storm 2 could give me some advice on shd i get storm 2?Or is there a better option for other phone which might serve for my purposes better?Another thing is tat i had seen ppl asking about is the clicking sound could it be disable even with the latest firmware upgrade?
Any problems with it like the Storm1? I never had a lot of problems with the Storm1 but I had a few people tell me the sound on their end wasn't the best.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI am trying to use my Storm 2 as a Wifi only device as I have switched to another phone. I have set up the Wifi connection to my router and disabled the mobile network. The problem is that only some applications are able to connect to the Internet successfully. I am able to send message through Blackberry Messenger and Pandora streams music but I cannot receive e-mails, load anything in the web browser or use the Facebook app. I am getting an error stating that the device could not connect to the Internet. Does annyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it?
