When I want to read a text message, my title is: 'Text mess...' and the rest of my title doesn't appear on my screen anymore. The second 's' is already a little transparent and the following letters are invisible. I also noticed it in other titles. Is this normal or is this an error?

The list does not open from any options or anything else.It does not even appear and open with empty contacts.After trying to open the shortcut or the Contacts menu the screen clears and returns to the previous page.

View 11 Replies View RelatedMy e5 has strange problem with the light sensor. If the 'Light sensor' slider in the settings is set to the minimum or one position above the minimum and I put the phone under bright light (for example outdoors in sunny days), the display goes completely off. If I cover the light sensor with something or put the phone in lower light, it turns on again. I think it's software problem, but not sure. Does anybody else have similar problem or my e5 has some fault?

What was the point of having a lock application if your personal text are displayed on the screen before it? Please dont tell me to turn off the notification in the text settings cause that happens to for some odd reason be linked to the audible txt notification as well so if you turn off "display notification" it kills the sound that you have a txt as well.I would happily download an app if it clears up this weird quirk. Just let me know what apps there are to do this.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI received a text message with a picture (ya know, one of those possibly WBMP format ones).After 15 minutes now, I'm still shocked to have found no way to save that picture. Nokia has made my life miserable within one month. (This was my first Nokia phone ever.) I find no consistency anywhere. Any basic thing takes enormous number of key presses or is not present at all.How can I save the picture I received in the text? There's no such option in the message menus.

It happens quite often every 3rd sms i sent , that whenever I type a message then lights goes off and Handset restarts itself. I have done Hard Reset with *#7370# and Also Reinstalled the firmware.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've found I have to restore factory settings every few days because my E7 stops displaying "1 new message" at the bottom of the screen and also suddenly doesn't make a tone when the message arrives. Also, the small envelope icon at the top right doesn't appear. The only way I know I have a new message is if the phone is in standby mode and I see the menu light flashing. Otherwise, I have to open messages or conversations to see if there are any new messages. I have to do this every few days when it suddenly stops showing new message arrival. I've found only restoring factory settings works, which is a pain since it erases all my personal settings.

After upgrading the firmware to 071 from 054, my E72 can't read sms if the sms comes from BlackBerry 9780 (Onyx 2). My E72 can receive and read other sms from other devices, but if the sms is sent from BB 9780, it will say error message: "The message format is not supported".I haven't try to soft or hard reset yet since there're a lot of applications on my E72 and I don't have the time to reinstall and resetting all of them.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI store all my messages on memory card but yesterday suddenly the memory option switched back to phone.I couldn't see my memory card messages on pc suite as I couldn't switch back to memory card option.
I can see pictures and songs stored on memory card.Can even add new but the only problem is I can't swtich back to memory card as far as messages are concerned.
Whether I press yes or no in the option it only gives me the error saying ' Unable to move message storage'.
I don't mind losing messages, but I would like to store the ones from now on on memory card. And if you say it is corrupt, how many maximum number of messages can be stored on phone memory?
Today randomly, when I have a new message, the little icon on the bottom of my home screen doesn't come up! The only thing that I could think of that might affect this is that I recently uninstalled communication but I'm pretty sure the icon was coming up after I uninstalled it.

And my phone E72 bugged somehow and the tiny icon when your text messages are being sent out is still there and won't disapear.The icon is just a tiny up arrow with a small bracket under it. The icon won't go away I tried restarting my phone many times its stil there. Now when I send out a text message I don't know when it is done sending because the icon never disapears.

Then wen i switch off and switch on my phone, i wil be able to hear my tone back. The problem i am facing is, the message shortcut key which is on the keypad of this Phone, is not working properly. When i do long press to open new text msg, it sometimes doesnt opens any thing and sometimes even open messaging and then close it. At a certain angle i have to apply a little more force in order to operate it properly. wheather its a hardware problem or any sort of dust particles have emerged inside the keypad resulting in loose contact of the button and the motherboard.
