Apr 18, 2012I cannot create new contacts on my blackberry curve 8520. Everytime I click on 'new contact' it freezes my phone.

BB Curve :: Cannot Create New Contacts Nor Edit Existing Ones On 8520
Apr 21, 2012I receive this message whenever I try to access the "New Contact" option on my blackberry curve 8520 "Application net_rim_bb_addressbook_app(255)". I can't add new contacts nor can I edit existing contacts! I've already tried removing the battery whilst the phone is on.

Mar 7, 2011I got a BlackBerry Curve 8520 at work and for some reason my BIS is not working, it says not connected and I cannot manage to fix it. The below is what I did so far.
1. Verified with my carrier (MTEL.BG) that I have all necessary data serivices enabled.
2. Restarted the handheld a couple of times (battery pull and waited 30 secs).
3. Resed to factory settings.
Tried to register my device using Host Routing Tables (the table is empty) but nothinh happen.
Called Tech support and they attempted to register my devide without success. They said that probably my handheld have a defect and to replace it.

When I go to plug it in after getting home it will not charge or even lite up when plugged in. I have tried plugging it into the wall and the computer but I get the same reaction from both and that is nothing. I have tried to pull the battery and it is still the same.

If i connect the headphones it only rings when the music player is on. If i stop the player is not ringing again, only vibrates. I know the menu very well and is all set to the right parameters. I've bought a new housing complete and i'm waiting to have it delivered next week because 99% i think is the speaker.

Apr 15, 2012I have a Blackblerry Curve 8520.I downloaded some apps that linked with my contacts..Now, yesterday i met someone.. and when i tried to save her nummer via messages > add to contacts.Nothin happend.. i tried to call her, press greenphone, blackberry button, add to contacts and it just freez.I hold the bb button for a time so i can switch trough apps, at a time it gives me an error.somthing with 'Rim_App_contacts' error determinated. i think i know what this means but, i don't want to lose all my contacts so.
