Apr 25, 2012I am synchronizing my C3 with outlook 200 calendar. Do you know if it is possible to disable the alerts on the phone only?

Feb 24, 2015Me and my kids were woken up at 3am this morning by an amber alert on my verizon gs5 running 5.0 ... I can't find the menu for emergency alerts...i have looked in the native msging app settings as well as in the wireless and network menu,but just cant find it....is this yet another lollipop bug or am i just missing something?

Mar 26, 2012After upgrading to iOS 5.1, any new Exchange meeting invitations trigger an alert, as if they were an actual meeting reminder. I don't want the invitations to trigger an alert, I only want the actual meeting reminders to trigger an alert (if they were programmed to do so). I can't seem to turn off the invitation alerts without also turning off the meeting reminder alerts. Is there a way to stop invitations from triggering an alert?

Mar 15, 2012I have the iPhone 4S and when I set events on my calendar and set it to alerte, it doesn't. I jut happened to open my computer one day when I apparently had an event and it alerted me on my MacBook. I need it to alert me on my phone because I'm not always on my computer when I need to be alerted. Any know how to get the calendar to alert me on my phone?

Sep 10, 2014My iphone5 alerts are way too soft, and I can't hear them. The ringer is set to max, but I can't figure out how to set the calendar alerts to high. When I do a hard reset it works for a while (less than a day) but then goes way down in volume. I need a good, loud alert for appointments. I've set it to vibrate, but it's not always in a pocket so I can feel it. I think it started after the last iOS update, but it seems more recent than that.

First I got double alerts, that were still sometimes working. Than I got single alerts that were rarely working. Now I have alerts that do not work EVER.Â

In Menu/Settings/Connectivity/Packet Data/Packet data conn./ I only have 2 selections "When needed" or "Always online", what is missing is "Never". The trouble is there are lots of internet accessing options within the phone menu system that use the internet and if you accidentally select one it will go "online" without asking.

I have tried creating new access point but every time I connect it uses gprs although packet data connection is selected to 'when connected'. I have deleted the access points through personnel settings but still some access points are available through packet data. Is it because of that gprs is activated? If yes, how can I delete them?
