Feb 11, 2012I want to permanently disable this feature and can't find where to do so. When using a bluetooth headset, if I press the button in a call, it hangs up. However, if the other end hangs up first, my phone calls a random number from the phone book when I try to hang up myself. The same happens if the headset gets touched accidentally.

Jul 5, 2010I have a 5800 on Virgin with a contract that says I only pay for the internet on days that I use it. However the phone is making 4 connections per hour on it's own so I am paying even when I don't surf. A message relating to "packet Data Connection activated"(or on hold) appears on the phone regularly. Can anybody tell me what it is and how to stop it. (virgin can't seem to help).

Apr 14, 2012I have bought a C2-01 phone for use away from my home country and wish to disable all access to the internet as it would be extremely expensive. In Menu/Settings/Connectivity/Packet Data/Packet data conn./ I only have 2 selections "When needed" or "Always online", what is missing is "Never". The trouble is there are lots of internet accessing options within the phone menu system that use the internet and if you accidentally select one it will go "online" without asking.

I have tried creating new access point but every time I connect it uses gprs although packet data connection is selected to 'when connected'. I have deleted the access points through personnel settings but still some access points are available through packet data. Is it because of that gprs is activated? If yes, how can I delete them?

Oct 28, 2011I bought new phone Nokia C7 with Anna software and I have a problem with pairing with my car (Bluetooth device Parrot CK3000 Evo). I think that the problem is with phone, because when I paired devices all things work well, but when I turn off the car (Parrot is switched off) and go away, other phones that I previously used disabled connection and can be used normally. But with this phone I see that for the phone connection still present (?!?) The car symbol on display still shown, and when I try to use the phone, I can make call, other people say that they receive calling , but I can't hear them, and they can't hear me. When I manually disconnect Bluetooth device, phone work normally, but when I am in the car again, two devices doesn't initiate pairing, and again I have to do this manually.

The message won't go away by clicking on the screen. The only way to force it away is by clicking the red button, but that would also take me away from whatever menu or application I was at, so I'd prefer not to do that. Also, I don't want to change to connectivity settings per se, (as seen in, for example, this topic: [URL]). Rather, is there any way to disable just the message?

Jan 23, 2012I've lost all Internet capabilities on my C7; it happened two weeks ago when I went to the middle of nowhere and had no reception whatsoever, upon returning to civilisation the normal phone reception returned fine but the Internet and email will not work at all - it won't pick up previously recognised wi-fi networks and won't connect through my WAP either.
It has happened before but always came back within a day or so, but as said this has now lasted two weeks and absolutely nothing.

Feb 25, 2012Just upgraded my wifes phone to Belle, everything works fine with the exception that Social 1.5 refuses to connect. I have restored default settings, but still wont connect.
I can use the web, connect to store, asks me if I want the 3G or WiFi connection, but only social refuses to connect. I have removed and re-installed Social. Always the same, Network is not available. Social works fine on my N8 with the same settings

Nov 22, 2010I've a Nokia C3-00 and Sitecom WL-174 Wireless Network ADSL 2+ Modem Router 54g TURBO.
The WiFi/Modem router is working fine with PC but not with my C3-00. I'm sure there is no issue of access protection mechanism ( I switched Off psswd and MAC filter to be sure). My C3-00 see the router and initiate the protocol to get IP address from the router but it fails : "connesione WLAN non riuscita"
I'm quite sure the issue is in a sort of not compatibility between the router DHCP and the mobile because I experienced same issue with Nokia E51 on which I sorted out assigning statip IP address to it.
The issue with Nokia C3-00 is that there is no way to assign static IP Address from menu. I tried to contact Nokia support but no answer . even at the Nokia service in my town (Catania) they don't know how to do it .

When I try to check I get a message saying "communication error, please try later" I know there is no communication problem 'cos I can go to web pages etc ( while on WiFi)
