Apr 14, 2012I have bought a C2-01 phone for use away from my home country and wish to disable all access to the internet as it would be extremely expensive. In Menu/Settings/Connectivity/Packet Data/Packet data conn./ I only have 2 selections "When needed" or "Always online", what is missing is "Never". The trouble is there are lots of internet accessing options within the phone menu system that use the internet and if you accidentally select one it will go "online" without asking.

I had an LG phone with 3G and got better coverage and signal bars on the 2G than I did on the 3G so I kept the phone on 2G. I don't use the internet on my Nokia ... I only use the phone for text messaging and phone calls... My 4G is only showing 2 bars on it's signal and sometimes maybe 3. I will have better signal on the 2G. Jan 17, 2010Whenever I set a reminder for an event (meeting, to do etc) and was not there to turn off or set to snooze when the alarm goes off, the phone stops vibrating. The light continues to blink, but no matter what buttons I press or press and hold, even the power button, the light continues to blink and the phone hangs. The only way is to remove the battery and restart the phone.
Is this a bug in the phone? I've never had such problems with previous Nokia phones. With the previous phones, once the user forgets to turn off the reminder alarm or set it to snooze, after a minute or so, the phone stops vibrating and blinking and the message hides in the background.

Apr 15, 2010I have a bluetooth car kit that mutes my car stereo. When ever the Maps app talks the stereo mutes. I would like to disable the voice so I can view directions but not have my stereo continually muted. Turning the volume to zero does not solve it. No voice is head but it still mutes the stereo. Currently my only solution is to turn my N97 bluetooth off. Is voice disable possible? Route66 has that feature. Is tired of Nokia whingers. Go to Apple, that's where you deserve to be.
