All the messages in the Conversations are mixed up with other senders. 07.20 software update does not fix it. I just had my phone software updated, no go. I recently had my phone completely reflashed from nokia care center with the updated software, but still experiencing the same issue. The issue will be noticeable once there are a couple of messages in Inbox and Sent Items already.
View 4 RepliesWhen I reset my phone I stupidly put in the wrong date in the "date and time" setup. Had texted two of my contacts before I noticed this. Have now changed calendar date to correct date but in my conversations list these two contacts always default to the top. I thought when I passed the date which I had incorrectly put in first this would remedy the problem. However I have now passed this date and these two contacts still aways default to the top of my conversations list. Does anyone know how to sort this without me having to completely reset my phone from start again?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated my C7-00 to the latest Symbian^3 Belle version yesterday. I haven't had much time to try it out but the first impression was that my phone was improved.
Now, I realized that my Original Nokia WH-205 Stereo Headset suddenly has stopped working i.e. they are not recognized by my C7-00 after the update. Why is this? I had no concerns before with the original Symbian^3 firmware or the Anna update either. Still, I can hear music with the standard headset that was included with my phone (Nokia Stereo Headset WH-102) and also with regular 3,5 mm earphones from a different manufacturer (Creative). I don't understand why the WH-205 don't work when the others seem to do and be recognized by the phone?
I'm 100% positive they are not broken as they worked perfectly fine just a couple of days ago when I could even make phone calls.
Should I roll back to Symbian Anna or is there some way of fixing this via a patch or manually?

It only showed the time/date settings (which I couldn't set because of keyboard malfunction). After some time, or some calls received - one part of the keyboard started working - all of it except little joystick) and I still couldn't navigate through menu. Whenever I switch off the phone it goes back to full non-working phase for some time.I can't hard reset it because "green", * and 3 are not working when I switch off the phone, and reseting the phone throug USB is also not working because I can't set my phone to offline mode because I can't use the joystick.

Then, it will not ring ever again unless I change the alarm to a new time and then reset the alarm.It is not something a do often, but if I take a day off in the week and don't want the alarm waking me at 5:15 AM, I de-click the alarm. When I re-click it so that it will ring M-F at the same time, no alarm goes off the next day. I have to change it to another time, let it go off, then reset it back to 5:15 to get it to ring.

I've noticed that when I talk on my left ear (which is how I always talk), I have CRAZY problems with the proximity sensor. I cannot go through even ONE call without either putting them on speakerphone, hanging up, going into contacts or dialing numbers by accident.However, when talking on my right ear, no problems at all it seams. I don't know why but it's annoying as I can't talk on my right ear, it just doesn't feel right and I'm not used to it.What have your guys' experiences been with this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried to add my friend's PIN on BBM during the service failure a few weeks ago, and although he didn't receive it, it was still marked as 'pending' on my bbm. Recently he tried to add my PIN, and the same thing happened. I can't scan his PIN because we don't usually meet up very often and I would never get the oppurtunity. Is there a way to delete any pending friend requests so that we would be able to try again, and if not, what should I do?

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1.1 on Friday, it worked normally for about 24 hours, and now all of a sudden it is completely unusable. If I press the home button absolutely nothing happens. But if I plug it into the charger and then press the home button, the white apple appears, and it boots to the grey screen that you get with a brand new phone. When I then swipe the slider I am asked for a passcode, so I enter the one I used when the phone was working normally. I then get the screen that says to connect to iTunes. Problem is that I'm traveling and so for the moment cannot connect to my iMac at home. (I have a PowerPC G4 laptop with me that can't go beyond OS 10.4 and iTunes 9.1.1.) Is there anything I can do now or do I have to wait until I return home? Or is the phone totally toast or what? I've read some stuff about SIM cards being corrupted with this update. Would a new one restore the whole phone?

When I charged last time my communicator and re-used it I discovered malfunctions at the front buttons. E.g. it is not possible to release the keyboard lock of when pressing the green button (for starting a call) and see the last calls on screen it switch to the function which is assigned to the upper button. Also when choosing an operation the phone wrongly moves to voice recording!

This is a recent problem and can not seem to figure out why it is doing this.This best way to describe what it is doing is "lagging".Also, sometime when I select "katie" in my phone it will randomly call "nancy".This happens multiple times in a row.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had my Black Berry Bold 9700 for a little over a month. During the first couple weeks, I didn't notice that my track pad didn't click. When I realized this I just ignored it because it didn't seem like such a big deal. Well fast forward a couple weeks to today, my phone's track pad has been double clicking with one press. Not only that the clicks have been getting worse and worse. Sometimes I don't have to press anything and it will click automatically. Within the past couple hours of this, it has gotten so bad my phone sent 13 of the same picture under 10 seconds. I took the initiative and took it a part to see whats going on, but nothing I noticed was the cause. Upon reassembling it, and starting it back up the problem is still there, and still getting worse. Ive had my phone for over a month so the warranty has expired. I also don't have insurance to replace the entire phone.

View 7 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, the A/Lock key and trackpad on my Curve 8530 are acting weird. It's as if I accidentally touched some series of keys that has now cause those two things to malfunction.The A/lock key isn't working at all. So I literally cannot type the letter A. As for the trackpad, it works fine on the home screen, but when I go into Menu, the trackpad will not scroll to the various applications/folders unless I hold the shift key while I scroll. If I pull up an application like Facebook, the scroll key doesn't work at all. But if I go into my email, I am able to scroll through the list of message and can scroll within individual messages themselves.I thought that if I completely wiped my BB and went back to factory settings that might restore things, but since my A key doesn't work, I can't type the word "blackberry" in order to confirm the wipe.

Now I can't restart it and whenever trying to start it I get an error on screen - don't even get to punch in my code or anything. View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I start any camera app on my Lumia 1020 the picture is blurry if I'm pointing the camera at anything over 6 inches away or so. When I push the camera button in it attempts to focus. Sometimes it will focus on distant objects the way it should, but most of the time it does not and everything stays blurry. This happened after receiving the latest update(not sure what update version). I've tried reinstalling Nokia Cam but it does not fix the problem. I haven't tried resetting to factory setting yet because I do not wish to have to redo everything on the phone.

For example: when I reply to a text message and want to insert a smiley, I use that key but it immediately acts like I pressed it twice and thus it sends off my unfinished message.Could this be a software problem? View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently moved to a brand new AT&T BB9700, it is just awesome, the best change from an old Curve. The thing is I'm having serious problems with the Battery. I'm having annoying and unexpected "blackouts" or "shutdowns", wheterver you may want to call them, with an apparently perfect battery level. Please take notice that the first charge of my BB9700 device was for a full charge as indicated by some of you for 16 hours.
Ever since, I'm having a perfect 3G and EDGE connection, been very careful not leaving open applications, but there are times, when having let's say 30% to even 60% apparently battery level, that the BB9700 completely shuts down, unoperative, without any kind of alert! No low battery led, or indication on the screen whatsoever. This is freaking me out, because this is not supposed to work like that.
I've been reading that there are some of you that have a perfect full day or even more of a regular "BB usage" meaning email, conversations, web browsing, etc. I'm 90% sure the Battery is damaged or faulty, so I need you help to guide me if there is something I'm doing wrong (I think not , and besides need your orientation on how to ask RIM/BB for a replacement battery if effectively my battery is not working as it should, and as I paid to be working!
