Jun 29, 2014My iPhone 5s touch screen is not working and I have tried the soft restart method still not working. When I do the apple logo pops up and behind it is a black screen with red and blue vertical lines. The screen is not damaged and never been dropped. The day it happens was when I was charging the phone and when I got back it the touch was gone and wouldn't respond, I also found it dropped and was hanging on the side of my table, or maybe it short circuit for some reason. All the buttons work, the finger scanner, the on/off button. Also the phone needs the password because I tried the soft reset and now I can't unlock it since it won't respond to my touch. So how can I fix this or is it able to be fixed? I received the iPhone early January and does the warranty apply to my situation? As well as go to an Apple store, for .

Aug 1, 2010My iPhone screen shut off and the phone has been vibrating for the last hour. None of the buttons work...holding down the Power+Home buttons does nothing, connecting it to the computer does nothing. The phone has gotten very hot from the constant vibrating.
I did the jailbreak earlier. Only installed SBSettings and did an update in Cydia that it said was available. That's it.I did also have AdMob ads in Settings for some reason so obviously something else got installed on there but how/when?

Sep 8, 2014I accidently drop my phone to water,try to dry it. It was okay,then it started do weird thing w/o any touch. And i shut it down,when i started it,it went to bootloader screen,locked. My volume buttons doesnt work so i cant factory reset,and cant do fastboot. When i shut it down,then restart the same thing. Boot menu,buttons dont do ****,stuck here. Jun 29, 2010I ordered a bumper the same day I ordered my IPHONE 4 and it arrived yesterday. I installed the bumper and it looked and performed well all though it will not fit into the IPHONE 4 dock or the universal dock with a 3rd generation IPOD dock adaptor.
When I left for work this morning I put the phone with the bumper in my horizontal belt case. Well the fit was extremely tight. When I tried to pull the phone out I almost had to rip the bumper to get it out. NOTE: the IPHONE 4 without the bumper and my 3G fit perfectly in the case. Once I got the phone out I saw that the case with the bumper fit was so tight that the phone was in the "Shut Down" mode meaning that the ON/OFF button was pressed continuously while in my case.
So needless to say the bumper came off. I am going to keep it at work to put on my IPHONE 4 when I have to travel using my work vehicle. The bumper because of the design will keep the phone from sliding around on the console while driving thus preventing the back to get scratched up like my IPHONE 3G did.

No water damage, no drop damage, just stopped working. I am limited in what I can do and almost every time I want to close an application, i need to remove the battery because there is no way to close. It's very frustrating. I've been a customer of blackberry and Telus for the past ten years.Blackberry, or Telus doesn't seem to give a care about the substandard quality of their product or their customers.I had a Storm and traded it in due to the buttons simply not working. Bought a Torch and six months later the buttons failed. Sent it in for warrantee and Telus blamed me for a problem I didn't even have to avoid the warantee until I complained so much they reoplaced it a few months back. Now this piece of **bleep** is giving me the same heartache.Called for support and they said to send it in for warrantee work. I'm a realtor and can't anmswer my phone half the time. I can't use the back button or the menu buttons. I get charged every time I send the phone back for an evaluation even though it's not my problem and its under warrantee.

The keypad button has turned in to a long button, with "Telephone" written on, and the contacts button has turned in to, a big bar with "Contacts" written on, something like older non touch nokias.
Oh, and none of the 2 buttons actually work! really annoying.
Also, on the 5230 you get some extra buttons/shortcuts on the bottom of the screen, so did i, but they dont work, i cant apply any programs to them.
And if i choose the upper contact bar to be a shortcut bar, nothing shows up, other than empy buttons (like on the bottom of the screen) and even there, i cant apply something...
