I accidently drop my phone to water,try to dry it. It was okay,then it started do weird thing w/o any touch. And i shut it down,when i started it,it went to bootloader screen,locked. My volume buttons doesnt work so i cant factory reset,and cant do fastboot. When i shut it down,then restart the same thing. Boot menu,buttons dont do ****,stuck here. I think it's becuse of water,but why buttons dont work ?

They show up, displaying the correct information, but the buttons doesn't work. This is causing me to have to dismiss the notification, open the notification tray and act on the notification from there. Is it something an app I'm using that's causing the problem? I've tested with both Hangouts video calls and the alarm clock.

My iPhone 5s touch screen is not working and I have tried the soft restart method still not working. When I do the apple logo pops up and behind it is a black screen with red and blue vertical lines. The screen is not damaged and never been dropped. The day it happens was when I was charging the phone and when I got back it the touch was gone and wouldn't respond, I also found it dropped and was hanging on the side of my table, or maybe it short circuit for some reason. The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.

I've got a brand new Curve 9300 less than a week ago. I've updated it's OS to version 6, and it worked perfectly. When I attempted to configure my email, it automatically asked to update with my carrier's email setup software. I just chose ok. View 9 Replies View RelatedI tried to flash the newest Vodafone firmware (PDA G920FXXU3QOJQ, CSC G920FVFG3QOJQ, Modem G920FXXU3QOJQ) on my G920F using Odin.
The first ROM i tried was corrupted and didn't pass the md5-check, so i downloaded a new one from samdownloads.de and tried again.
Odin shows the usual messages until hidden.img is written, after that it says "Complete (write) operation failed" and, after reboot, leaves me with a warning screen reading
"An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I can power it down and reset with power+vol down, but it only gets to the same turqoise screen again and thats it. If I press the combo immediately, i can get into d/l mode, also.
Just checked a second time, failed again, now i am stuck with a phone that doesn't power off anymore. Waiting for the battery to die is not an option, just charged it, around 95% full. I suppose i have to flash a new bootloader? My TWRP is also gone, bad news. Do I have to install modem, bootloader and pit file now?
I dropped my iPhone 4s on concrete. The screen was already cracked, but only certain parts of the screen work now. I basically can't do anything on my phone because I can't type in my password. Do I just need to fix the screen or does this mean I have to get a new phone? Mainly, the cracked parts of the screen don't work. When I am trying to type in whats app or Skype (I havent tested other apps yet), the keyboard hangs and then it goes down. I have to keep clicking on the message space and then after a while either it comes up works for sometime and goes down again (unresponsive) or the phone gets restarted. I need to say that I am a bit frustrated with this as this is happening with a frequency of less than 2 minutes. I tried the basic troubleshooting steps of soft reset (volume down + power), but still same.

So for example when I go into Safari and if I were to go on the search bar it won't do anything its the same with the app store and every app that has a search bar at the top of the page. I also cannot open my instagram direct messages at the top of the screen. The screen will respond in the home menu but not in apps. My screen works perfectly but the top of it doesn't work when I tap. I downloaded a multitouch app. And I found that the swipe works perfectly if I came from the bottom. So I think that it is a software problem. Some permanent solution? Rebooting the phone solves the problem for a while.
