I have restored the phone, it does work for a while but become unresponsive after using few times. What can I do? My iphone has been unwarranted. It works perfect during the restore and apps download, seems there are no problems for the screen.
I can slide it up and down slightly and I can push on the corners and they all push in. Its not a huge deal but im wondering if i should try to exchange it.
I ordered a bumper the same day I ordered my IPHONE 4 and it arrived yesterday. I installed the bumper and it looked and performed well all though it will not fit into the IPHONE 4 dock or the universal dock with a 3rd generation IPOD dock adaptor.
When I left for work this morning I put the phone with the bumper in my horizontal belt case. Well the fit was extremely tight. When I tried to pull the phone out I almost had to rip the bumper to get it out. NOTE: the IPHONE 4 without the bumper and my 3G fit perfectly in the case. Once I got the phone out I saw that the case with the bumper fit was so tight that the phone was in the "Shut Down" mode meaning that the ON/OFF button was pressed continuously while in my case.
So needless to say the bumper came off. I am going to keep it at work to put on my IPHONE 4 when I have to travel using my work vehicle. The bumper because of the design will keep the phone from sliding around on the console while driving thus preventing the back to get scratched up like my IPHONE 3G did.
I keep sliding my finger across the unlock bar but it doesn't work. Whereas the double-click music player works fine. Has my phone locked itself? It was fine an hour ago.
When the slide is opened in blackberry torch 9800 the device gets locked, then I have to press the unlock key twice to open and even when the device is in unlocked closed state and slided to open state the device gets locked, then again I have to press the unlock key at the top twice...at both these stages when the device gets locked no other keys work and the display goes black only after unlocking it the display comes back...
I bought xperia z2 2 weeks ago. Just today my phone went crazy. The screen started detecting random touches every where _ghost touches_. I switched it off several times until the problem was solved . But apparently a new problem appeared. Now I can't scroll down the notification bar. I went to diagnostics where I could test the device. I tested the touch input and surprisingly the status bar area detects nothing at all. The screen works responds properly except for the upper most part ( status bar area). So I guess that this is a software problem .
I realized that there was an apparent scratch on the keyboard where I can see the aluminium body underneath the black layer. Is there a design fault of the E7-00 or the faulty sliding mechanism to my handset is the cause of it?
I have a question. I have a 8900 running OS5 and I can't seem to get the device to scroll thru pages like sliding it scrolls line per line but I would like to know how to make it scroll like sliding. My friend has a 8900 with 4.6 OS and when she goes thru pages on her browser the scrolling same thing on her twitter app and facebook. Does anyone know how can I enable this scrolling effect on my blackberry?
Is there a way to keep the display in landscape view when you slide the keynboard open? I have a car cradle that I used with my 9700. I now use the cradle with my Torch. The Torch is thicker than the 9700, so I have to slide the Torch open and slide just the keybord section in it fits nice aNd tight. I want to be able to swivel the cradle to allopw landscape view, but since the keyboard is open the screen won't change from portraight to landscape view.
recently my x10 mini pro can't use the touch screen when sliding the keyboard. Then just yesterday, when i slide the kayboard out, the whole screen turn black.
I have xperia u20i, and have a problem when trying to change my locale language and region ( croatian)...When i switch to Croatian , the letters y and z are switched (when i press z,the phone write y,,, and when i press y,the phone write z..)
When I slide my keyboard out, my screen instantly scrambles. It is a pitch or catch as to whether or not the screen corrects itself when the keyboard is then closed. If it does not correct itself, and turning the screen off does not resolve the scramble, I have to pop the battery.
In version 40, when receiving a call the old answer button was replaced by a sliding button. The same goes for the alarm. The old stop button was replaced with a new sliding stop button.I was in a call, the phone suddenly crashed and restarted. After that both sliding buttons don't appear when receing a call or when an alarm goes off.Is there any solution other than reinstalling the firmware update or hard resetting the phone?
It's stuck on the apple logo screen and I've tried entering into DFU mode, I've tried hard resetting it, and I've tried connecting it to my computer.
I don't know exactly what happened before this occured as it's my mom's phone and she said that all she did before this was accidently shut off the phone and when she tried to open it, it was like this.
I'm about to just let the phone's battery die in order to shut it off and see if that works but does anyone know what's wrong or if there's a faster way to cause the phone to shut off so I can restart it?
For the last couple of weeks my screen has been starting to act kind of weird. The problem is that the screen become unresponsive from time to time. For the most of the time when the screen stop responding I can "reset" it by pressing the sleep-button and then wake the phone up again or tilt it to landscape-mode. It's very enoying and I don´t know what to do. For example, just a regular text/sms takes like 8-9 "resets" as described above, to finish.
I use the latest software for both iOS and iTunes. The phone has not been a subject to "brute force" or any kind of liquids and part from a few very small scratches the phone looks like new (kind of).
My iPhone 3gs has become slow and sometimes unresponsive. There are boxes around the areas I press and when the phone turns on there's a box around the time at the top of the screen. When I press on the "slide to unlock" area a box appears around the banner holding the slide bar, the bar will slide along slowly and then once the keys for entering the password comes up boxes appear around the keys I press but the numbers won't enter into the password so I am unable to lock my phone. I am not quite sure what to do, I have seeked answers online but cannot find any.
My touchscreen has stopped working. There were no error messages. It was intermittenent for about one hour before it stopped completely. At first I could turn it off and turn it back on again. It would work again for about 5 minutes then become unresponsive again. I am unable to turn it off even now. I cleaned the screen, it wasn't dirty. I've updated to iOS 5. I restored to factory settings and its the same issue. It hasn't had a bang or anything.
I dropped my iPhone 3G onto hard tiles and the top half of the front screen popped out. Was getting flickering visuals on the screen as I tried to press the phone back together. I realized the power button had somehow turned sideways, so I attempted to push it back into place. The rest of the screen then popped off. I reconnected the wires but could not see anything on my screen. Put it on the charger last night and heard it beep like normal. When I woke up this morning, though, it was completely unresponsive. No visuals, no sounds, plugged into the computer and it's not being recognized. Tried to reset, still not getting a response.
I've been having some trouble lately; with my iPhone 5s running iOS 7.1.2, 64 gigabytes of storage. It was running completely fine until a couple of days ago, when the screen began to not react to my touch. I initially thought it was a hardware problem, but the phone has not taken any damage as far as I can tell and the screen resumes working when I restart it. The screen works, for the most part, on the right side; but from the left edge to about a centimeter in it is completely unresponsive.
Occasionally, the phone will begin to act as if I am tapping it on the left side, although I am not touching it. Turning the phone on and off again provided a temporary fix, as did hard resetting it and factory restoring it, but after a few minutes of being on it becomes unresponsive again. I cannot unlock it without using the fingerprint reader due to the unresponsiveness, but once I do unlock it there is not much I can do without the left side.
I tried removing the screen protector but nothing happened, so that is eliminated. I did, however, get a new SIM card and service carrier recently, but that seems unconnected. The climate I now live in is much more humid, so that could be a problem, but a new, state-of-the-art phone like the 5s shouldn't be having problems with that, right?
After breaking my phone screen (iPhone 5s) I took my phone into a phone shop in town to get the screen replaced. After getting it home I realised that the screen becomes unresponsive after about 5 minutes of use.
I switched iphones today with a friend of mine. I made sure that I had backed up everything to my computer AND iCloud before doing the trade. Did it, everything set up fine. Restored through iTunes and then turned on. I still had my email, texts, call logs, contacts and notes. But all my apps and songs are gone. How do i get them back?
Is anyone else with a jailbroken app having a problem with the home button not always responding to clicks? Sometimes I need to click it 2 or 3 times. Seems like a software issue too.
Also on sbsettings when i adjust brghtness it changes, but when I turn the phone to sleep and wake it up, it's back to the old brightness.
A couple of months ago I was using my iPhone in my room normally. I locked it and put it on my bedside table, when I went back to it I found that my sleep button was very hard to press. I figured it might be temporary and have waited until now. It is now completely unresponsive and I can no longer press it at all. Both of the water damage indicators are white from what I can see and the actual device has very minimal damage from regular use.
