when I swip the unit does that lose all my stuff .and does it reset security as well I have a pass word on it. and apps are not able to be downloaded as well I was told I tryed to down load an app for call block for annoying calls.
View 1 RepliesI'm running Lollipop 5.1.1 and whenever I swipe away recent apps in the task switcher such as Chrome or Play Store, there is a lag/stutter before the app leaves the screen. It swipes away and then pauses for a second before leaving.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI started noticing that this week. From the recent app window, when I Swipe an app left or right to close it, the app hangs/freezes at the edge of the screen before it completely goes away. It's so strange and annoying.
I cleared both app and device cache and still same lag. I'm running everything stock and I'm on 5.1.1

I made a thread about this a while ago but I'm wondering if there's an app to solve this. On the nexus 4 you could make it so when you wake up the phone it requires no unlock but if you sleep it for (whatever you set the time for) it will then lock to the chosen security type.
Is there an app that can allow this to happen without having to just remove a lock feature which I'd rather not do? To simulate what i mean for some reason if you do a Google search bar search then then lock the phone and unlock it again you'll see it doesn't have you swipe for some reason.
Ever since LP lag/stutter/hitch when swiping away apps in the recents menu. I've restarted and cleared cache but nothing has worked. I do not want to do a Factory Reset unless it's my last option.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen you unlock your phone by swiping up on the lock screen, if you try to swipe up on the Start screen immediately from the bottom of that screen, you will likely get no movement on the screen. If you swipe up from the top half of the screen you will likely get immediate movement of that screen.It seems as though when the phone performs screen transitions that the top half of the screen gets its touch enabled anywhere from a half a second to a second or two faster than the bottom half of the screen.
This became really apparent with the new animated lock screens that were just released. With one of those installed (aka the first choice in the list of animated lock screens), if you unlock your phone, try immediately swiping up from the bottom multiple times rapidly on the Start screen once it becomes visible. For me, it doesn't register a swipe for almost 2 seconds. But the top half of the screen registers a swipe almost instantly. It does have a little more of a delay on the top half than it does if you use just a normal lock screen.
Is there a way to disable the haptic feedback when swiping to unlock your phone?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm running CM11 M8, but I've been having this problem with many previous builds.Problem is, whenever I'm listening to music using either the Google Music app or Apollo, and I decide to clear the recent tasks list, playback is stopped. I would assume this was by design, if it weren't for three factors.
1) This post by Diane Hackborn, specifically "uses the new API to tell any services of the application about the task being removed so it can do whatever it thinks is appropriate."
And I should hardly think that stopping playback just cos you're clearing the recent tasks is appropriate. One should be allowed to clear the recent tasks list entirely, and see no change in phone behaviour. The recent task list is not a task manager.
2) This wasn't the way it used to behave (I think circa Jellybean)
3) The Music icon remains in the notification bar even when playback stops.
Is this a bug underlying 4.4.4? Or is a problem with CM only?
I have an Iphone 4, which did an upgrade yesterday. Now I can't unlock the screen as the swiping through the numbers no longer works. Can I reset it using the computer...if so how?

View 5 Replies View Relatedi have a s6 demo unit G920x.i want to install custom recovery twrp but when i do (twrp-2.8.7.1-zeroflte.img.tar) via odin the phone doesnt go any futher than the samsung boot screen (even when i hold the volume up, power and home button)
i managed to go back to the original recover with CF auto root (CF-Auto-Root-zeroflte-zerofltedv-smg920i.tar.md5), but when i boot the recovery up, i cant wipe the phone because it is a demo unit (mdm does not allow factory reset).on the end of the recovery there are also two yellow lines saying '''dm-verity verification failed...'' and ''Need to check DRK first...)
So, how to get the custom recovery working so i can install a new rom through the recovery, or official firmware for the demo unit.
I don't know if i have activated the findiphone app, and now i have lost it... Is there any way to activate it via e.g. an iPad?

Basically, any kind of call I make or receive (from phone, from head unit, from phonebook on head unit, typing the number in, etc) the head unit always shows "unknown caller" and neither the number or the name is displayed. Is there some kind of setting on my phone I should make to get the names to show up on the head unit? The names are displayed correctly using an iPhone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI switched from my s4 to the s6 and I am having bluetooth complications with my pioneer avh p4400 headunit. I did some google-ing around and found that a a few others are having the same problem but seeing as the phone came out a few days ago not everyone is inquiring about it. Bluetooth audio does not auto connect/play like it did on the s4 and there is no song info/description displayed which then renders the track skipping buttons useless on the headunit. I found an app to fix the auto connect issue at least.
I am using Google play music so this is kind of unusual. I am not sure if it is an s6 only issue having something to do with the new touchwiz or if android 5.0 is using different bluetooth protocols than prior. Everything is updated to the latest firmware. I was debating on upgrading to the 4100nex but if this issue is going to be present there also I would rather not have an extra expensive paperweight.
when I used to connect my old nokia 6300 to my car radio/cd unit (sony 6000 cd) via bluetooth I used to have the call list (as stored in the phone by name displayed in, out, missed etc on the car head unit screen when the phone button was pressed.I was able to scroll through these up/down and select dial to make a call.I have now upgraded to C5 and although connects and makes and recives calls fine all that is displayed in the Sony car unit screen is the numbers not the 'names' as stored on the phone making it tricky to know who I'm calling.Am I doing something wrong do I need to change a setting on the phone? I have 'remote sim' on in the bluetooth menu in the phone.

I have a Sony bluetooth head unit in my car which acts as my hands free and the added bonus of connecting to my music on my phone thus having no need to change CD's or have your friend be a DJ next to you. This worked perfectly with my previous Sony Ericsson W995 phone however now I have the GSII these two things happen: -
1) I might be imagining it but I think I hear crackling in the music when playing over the bluetooth, might just be my speakers but can't remember conciously hearing and noting this to myself on my old phone and when my mate connects his 3GS iPhone to it there doesn't seem to be this problem?
2) There are definite, noteworthy interruptions in the playback over the sound system however the music hasn't been paused on the phone and so I miss bits of the songs! This is both unusual and annoying as you can imagine!

View 1 Replies View RelatedReceived a new 16GB Motoactv this evening. Completed set up of MotoCast on my MAC. Unit was working fine, GPS / Radio etc.
Then checked for software update, it found 4.56.76, downloaded the sw and started to update. After about 30mins the MAC had a box saying updating, do not disconnect and the screen of the unit seems to be cycling. Initially I'd see the red batwings then an image of the unit and the progress bar underneath. The yellow moves about 1/3 along the bar then stops, after a minute or so the unit seems to power cycle > batwings > and so on....
After about 45 mins I disconnected the unit from the USB/MAC, tried a start + pwr reset but I still only get to this cycling mode (batwings > image + progress bar). Unit was charged for about an hour before I started the initial set up.
My units are set in metric. Everything seems fine when I look at my workout. But if I look at the public version of the workout, I see the values for the metric units but with american units instead.So 5.74km becomes 5.74mi and 5 min/km becomes 5 min/mi.
