Motorola Xoom :: Unit Blink Indicator Light If It's Powered Down
Jun 27, 2011When I plug in my Xoom tablet for charging, the unit will blink the indicator light if it's powered down, or the "Charging (xx%)" and lightning bolt on the battery icon will blink when powered on. It also takes a longer time then normal to charge.

Jun 8, 2012It was in a sof case and surrounded by a hard case. The only areas exposed to liquid was the charger and speakers. At first, the display came on and the unit charged sporadically. Now, it will not power on at all. Even when it did power on the screen was VERY dim. About 1 inch fell into the shake (strawberry, for the curious) and I did not rinse it off - just wiped and cleaned with QTip and toothpick. Any help out there? Should I open the phone and try to clean it out? It is over 2 years old and no warranty or contract.

Nov 20, 2011I caught the cord of my Xoom while moving it and the charging cord was yanked out. Now it doesn't charge at all. The cord itself looks fine so I assume there is a problem with the little pin or the jack in the tablet.
What is the little module with the connectors in it called? I keep asearching things like "charger" and "jack" but always get results for the cord part, but the part on the tablet itself.

Dec 22, 2011A couple weeks ago the Xoom stopped charging. I took it to work to look at it and then it just started charging at work. I brought it home and it was charging again at home too. I thought it must have been some fluke. Only now it is doing it again. I have tried dozens of outlets, and they work for any other device but not for the Xoom. It won't charge.

Dec 9, 2011Received a new 16GB Motoactv this evening. Completed set up of MotoCast on my MAC. Unit was working fine, GPS / Radio etc.
Then checked for software update, it found 4.56.76, downloaded the sw and started to update. After about 30mins the MAC had a box saying updating, do not disconnect and the screen of the unit seems to be cycling. Initially I'd see the red batwings then an image of the unit and the progress bar underneath. The yellow moves about 1/3 along the bar then stops, after a minute or so the unit seems to power cycle > batwings > and so on....
After about 45 mins I disconnected the unit from the USB/MAC, tried a start + pwr reset but I still only get to this cycling mode (batwings > image + progress bar). Unit was charged for about an hour before I started the initial set up.

Nov 25, 2011My units are set in metric. Everything seems fine when I look at my workout. But if I look at the public version of the workout, I see the values for the metric units but with american units instead.So 5.74km becomes 5.74mi and 5 min/km becomes 5 min/mi.

Jul 22, 2015i have a s6 demo unit G920x.i want to install custom recovery twrp but when i do (twrp-2.8.7.1-zeroflte.img.tar) via odin the phone doesnt go any futher than the samsung boot screen (even when i hold the volume up, power and home button)
i managed to go back to the original recover with CF auto root (CF-Auto-Root-zeroflte-zerofltedv-smg920i.tar.md5), but when i boot the recovery up, i cant wipe the phone because it is a demo unit (mdm does not allow factory reset).on the end of the recovery there are also two yellow lines saying '''dm-verity verification failed...'' and ''Need to check DRK first...)
So, how to get the custom recovery working so i can install a new rom through the recovery, or official firmware for the demo unit.

Apr 12, 2015I switched from my s4 to the s6 and I am having bluetooth complications with my pioneer avh p4400 headunit. I did some google-ing around and found that a a few others are having the same problem but seeing as the phone came out a few days ago not everyone is inquiring about it. Bluetooth audio does not auto connect/play like it did on the s4 and there is no song info/description displayed which then renders the track skipping buttons useless on the headunit. I found an app to fix the auto connect issue at least.
I am using Google play music so this is kind of unusual. I am not sure if it is an s6 only issue having something to do with the new touchwiz or if android 5.0 is using different bluetooth protocols than prior. Everything is updated to the latest firmware. I was debating on upgrading to the 4100nex but if this issue is going to be present there also I would rather not have an extra expensive paperweight.

May 8, 2011when I used to connect my old nokia 6300 to my car radio/cd unit (sony 6000 cd) via bluetooth I used to have the call list (as stored in the phone by name displayed in, out, missed etc on the car head unit screen when the phone button was pressed.I was able to scroll through these up/down and select dial to make a call.I have now upgraded to C5 and although connects and makes and recives calls fine all that is displayed in the Sony car unit screen is the numbers not the 'names' as stored on the phone making it tricky to know who I'm calling.Am I doing something wrong do I need to change a setting on the phone? I have 'remote sim' on in the bluetooth menu in the phone.
