I am have difficulty connecting my Nokia X6 to my in-car unit being a Nokia CK-15W. The mobile doesn't seem to pick up the car unit via a Bluetooth search from the phone. I am wondering if these are compatible?
View 5 Replieswhen I used to connect my old nokia 6300 to my car radio/cd unit (sony 6000 cd) via bluetooth I used to have the call list (as stored in the phone by name displayed in, out, missed etc on the car head unit screen when the phone button was pressed.I was able to scroll through these up/down and select dial to make a call.I have now upgraded to C5 and although connects and makes and recives calls fine all that is displayed in the Sony car unit screen is the numbers not the 'names' as stored on the phone making it tricky to know who I'm calling.Am I doing something wrong do I need to change a setting on the phone? I have 'remote sim' on in the bluetooth menu in the phone.

The handset pairs fine with the head unit in my c class Merc, I can make and receive calls and text messages, but it continually disconnect the bluetooth as though the phone is powering bluetooth off and then powering it back up and reconnecting. This sometimes happens every 30-40 seconds other days it can be ever 3-5 minutes. The head unit works fine with my blackberry, htc desire and a mates iphone so I know that's not at fault. I've tried deleting the pairing and restoring my phone prior to the update but all to no avail.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI switched from my s4 to the s6 and I am having bluetooth complications with my pioneer avh p4400 headunit. I did some google-ing around and found that a a few others are having the same problem but seeing as the phone came out a few days ago not everyone is inquiring about it. Bluetooth audio does not auto connect/play like it did on the s4 and there is no song info/description displayed which then renders the track skipping buttons useless on the headunit. I found an app to fix the auto connect issue at least.
I am using Google play music so this is kind of unusual. I am not sure if it is an s6 only issue having something to do with the new touchwiz or if android 5.0 is using different bluetooth protocols than prior. Everything is updated to the latest firmware. I was debating on upgrading to the 4100nex but if this issue is going to be present there also I would rather not have an extra expensive paperweight.
i have a GSII and recently bought a Lexar 32GB Micro SDHC class 10 to put my music on. I have a Sony bluetooth head unit in my car which acts as my hands free and the added bonus of connecting to my music on my phone thus having no need to change CD's or have your friend be a DJ next to you. This worked perfectly with my previous Sony Ericsson W995 phone however now I have the GSII these two things happen: -
1) I might be imagining it but I think I hear crackling in the music when playing over the bluetooth, might just be my speakers but can't remember conciously hearing and noting this to myself on my old phone and when my mate connects his 3GS iPhone to it there doesn't seem to be this problem?
2) There are definite, noteworthy interruptions in the playback over the sound system however the music hasn't been paused on the phone and so I miss bits of the songs! This is both unusual and annoying as you can imagine!

I have just changed my car to the latest Renault Megane with built in blue tooth. E72 paired easily but constantly looses connection and re makes connection , it also freezes radio, I have consulted Renault dealer who is looking into it but has any one had similar problems with similar blue tooth problems with in car systems
The E 72 is running with latest software update, And freezing of radio has only happened since up grade to new soft ware but connection has never worked properly since taking car delivery on 1st April.
My lumia 900 cannot connect to other phones,always shows not supported.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have an E71 and I am having bluetooth issues. This happened firstly using my Navman handsfree and now my handsfree through my Sony car stereo. It all connects up fine works great and then after about two weeks stops connecting when I get in the car. I can't get it to connect at all tried deleting the devices on everything and re pairing but it will no longer pair. I have paired another phone to the car stereo so it must be the phone. Is there anything i can do settings wise or does. It sound like a repair is needed to the phone.

When I then disable bluetooth, wait a while and enable bluetooth again, the problem is gone. I don't know for sure, but what I have see on my car's phone menu, although I get these disconnects on my phone , the disconnects are not noticed by my car. But again, I didn't look into that yet.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEver since the update late last year that "fixed" the skipping Bluetooth issue I have had problems. Before this "fix" music or podcasts playing via Bluetooth would skip for a fraction of a second periodically. After the "fix" this no longer happens.
My car has Ford Sync (2009). Since the "fix" most of the time I get in the car the phone will not connect with Sync at all. This happens even if I try to force a sync using the phone or Sync. After playing with this issue over several days I realized if it does not connect right away I needed to reboot the phone for Bluetooth to connect to Sync.
I am also experiencing a stuttering with Doggcatcher and several music applications. This stuttering generally is when the player starts but occasionally it stops playing for up to 10 or 20 seconds then starts again (even when playing files on the internal memory). I do not have this problem when using the headset or the phone's speaker.
I have an iPhone 4s on Vodafone, upgraded to latest software update and phone will not connect by bluetooth to my Bose sound dock 10 (doesn't even see it) nor will it see my new iMac. I have reset my phone to see if that works - but nothing.
