Dec 1, 2011Does anybody have a solution on how to pair the Lumia with other devices via bluetooth ? I understand from reading other listings on this discussions pages that windows mobile does not work with bluetooth? I have tried my MacBook Pro, E72 as well as my cars built in satnav system and keep on getting a message that they are not compatible..There is nothing in the brochure stating that bluetooth does not function as it should & I told by the sales staff that all Nokia devices were compatible regarding bluetooth.

Mar 18, 2010I have just got a Bold 9700 and am really starting to like this phone. But I cannot get the bluetooth to work properly. It will pair with my devices but will not connect to them. It says connection failed or connection not supported. It will not connect to my cars built in bluetooth either, I have a new 2010 galaxy and it accepts the cars passkey but will not connect. I Really need my phone to connect to my car. When I go to my paired device list and click on a device I do not get a connect option, which I have been told to use. I am on vodafone in the UK and have contacted them to see if they can help but they tell me they do not help with Blackberry's (funny that when they take my money for it) so I am unsure where to contact now for help.

Jan 26, 2010I've had my Storm 1 since it came out originally, and it looks like it survived a road-side bomb in Iraq; cracked screen and all.A friend of mine got a free replacement Storm 2 which he gave me over the weekend. The phone is mint, I'm just waiting for my Verizon store to get me the battery cover so I can use the phone in everyday use.
My question is this....I saved all the device memory from my ST1 to my DM, and I'm going to transfer it to the ST2...what else do I need to know to switch it over seemlessly; SIM card etc., because the ST1 was my first Blackberry, so I'm not exactly knowledgeable about switching between devices.
BB Bold :: Lost Information When Switching Devices, From 9000 To 9700
Jul 13, 2011Since I switched phones from a 9000 to a 9700 I tried doing this through desktop manager. But everything got erased from the 9000 (contacts, everything!) and nothing got uploaded to my 9700. Is there any way I can find the lost info??? I am pretty sure i never did a back up from the 9000. I cant believe I lost all my contacts!!!

Nov 20, 2012I am trying to deploy some code to two Windows Phone 8 devices from Windows 8.Unfortunatey, the 920 and 820 are both not causing me some amount of trouble.When I plug the devices in it recognises them as Windows Phones and I can explore the files on the devices but when I press deploy on my code it says no Windows Phone 8 device detected. When looking in device manager there is two versions of the Nokia device I am using and an exclamation mark, update the drivers says "drivers not found online" and uninstalling the drivers just removes them but then after a restart the two versions both with exclamation marks pops up again.

E72 paired easily but constantly looses connection and re makes connection , it also freezes radio, I have consulted Renault dealer who is looking into it but has any one had similar problems with similar blue tooth problems with in car systems
The E 72 is running with latest software update, And freezing of radio has only happened since up grade to new soft ware but connection has never worked properly since taking car delivery on 1st April.

the most annoying "feature" of the Nokia Lumia 1020 is that it impossible to switch the phone OFF when you don't need it.
This moronic phone decides on its own when to switch ON - as soon as the battery is charged just enough to start it, it tries to start, drains the battery and 5 minutes later tries again to start and keeps repeating this vicious circle to no end.
When you connect to a charger strong enough, it will charge BUT you SIMPLE CAN'T SWITCH IT OFF when you don't need it - this idiotic phone keeps restarting until the battery is drained!!!
There is no way that you can charge the phone and keep it switched off until you need it! Is there a way to keep a charged NOKIA Lumia1020 switched off when you don't need it?

Jan 5, 2010I have an E71 and I am having bluetooth issues. This happened firstly using my Navman handsfree and now my handsfree through my Sony car stereo. It all connects up fine works great and then after about two weeks stops connecting when I get in the car. I can't get it to connect at all tried deleting the devices on everything and re pairing but it will no longer pair. I have paired another phone to the car stereo so it must be the phone. Is there anything i can do settings wise or does. It sound like a repair is needed to the phone.

The all support we got is to download a app which is not working for the OSX 10.6.8 and they seem to force us to upgrade to the 10.7 OSX.It is my right, as a consummer, to choose to OS I want for my laptop and it is to both Windows and Nokia to make their devices compatible to their customers computers.So here is my call to all Nokia and Windows developpers: Do not ignore us, there is a problem and the first step in order to solve it is to recognize this problem.The least you can do is to tell us that you are currently working on it because I feel all alone in the dark but I am pretty sure I am not alone and you might loose some clients that are delighted with your phone but really "**bleep**" off the way that they are treated in the process of solving this important problem.
