sometimes I only get a text, when i send one.. so if someone text me an hour ago, when I text them back i'll only just get that text. And also, it takes ages to send a text, and sometimes it doesn't at all. This isn't the area im in either, it's from my house and it's always been fine so it isn't the connection. I've restarted it plenty of times.
So my phone has been like this for a few weeks now. I click on something, and it takes it a while to actually go to the screen I want it to. or I try and scroll and it takes it a while before it moves to the thing I want it to. Sometimes when I call someone and I get their voicemail and I don't want to leave a message, I try to hit the end button and it doesn't end it right away. It is driving me crazy! ?
I'm having trouble with my text messages, using the stock Sense app. It seems that it is getting progressively slower as well. Whenever I touch the "To" field to add an addressee it takes a good 2 or 3 seconds for options to come up. Then after I press send, it can take another 2 or 3 seconds for the text to actually be sent. It is quite annoying given the horsepower under the hood and especially when I'm trying to send messages to different people rather quickly. I shouldn't have to wait on the app...there shouldn't be delays in getting a simple text message out.
My Torch runs slow most of the time especially when I am writing a text the words take at least 2 to 4 seconds to go on the screen. Also to change screen takes some time as well. Apps open slow as well. I have sufficient free internal memory not much apps just what I need to use, not much for games. What do you think may be going on with this unit. Also I try to connect to BB desktop to get updates if any and back up as frequent as possible, even battery pulls to get a clean restart.
Why when im text with xperia keyboard its fell slowy. I dont do anything with this Phone. And it slow Like lag. Internal and eksternal Memory have a much space.
the text messages seem to be frozen with the little blue circle working and just giving me the message "sending"..i haven't had this problem with other messages, only a few. the messages are not very long at all and no pictures or anything, just text messages.
Latlely the scroll ball (not sure of the proper name for it) doesn't work all the time and, the text has been very slow. I have rebooted the device by taking the battery out.
Just recently when I click reply for a text message it takes between 10-30 seconds to start a new message. Then when I click the send button, it displays the "Sending Message" screen for about the same time, before finally sending the message. The phone was recently wiped by Nokia Care Centre because of a problem with text messages rebooting the phone. This issue is now occuring as well, but mostly at night?Any ideas as to what I can do to fix this? It has firmware 12.0.110 installed.
Has anyone noticed slowness with text messages? I was texting back/forth with a friend the other day and it was taking about 20 mins or so to get a reply.I noticed my 'delivery report' was between 5-10 mins to get the D for delivered.I started sending the times I was sending the messages and ask when they were received, which they were received right away however I would get the reply about 15 minutes later. Is there a known issue with text delay?
I like to keep an archive of all my text messages on the mem card of the W995, but find that even when about 500 messages are stored, the phone runs at a snails pace with any aspect of texting.when typing messages it takes 3-5 seconds for words to appear on screen ,etc.any ideas? My old C902 did not suffer from this problem at all
We received two Blackberry Curves today. The sales clerk told us that our plan includes 10 National Fab Ten talk and text. for each of our phones. We were told we could register our 10 fab ten online. I have been attempting to set up these two phones. I cannot find WHERE I can input the 10 numbers we were told we could. It took over 2 hours just to register to this forum, with much frustration.
i have a a very important text thread running and for security reasons I would like to e-mail the whole lot at once to myself as a backup. (I can do individual messages but the thread has got so long there are not enough hours in the day!) It is also not clear when a whole backup is done to the PC whether text threads are backed up as well.
im thinking about buying a old blackberry 7730 from my friend for a backup phone but can you still send and recive text messages with out a bb plan? because i think you need like a bb plan for web browsing and email
i have a black berrry pearl 9100 and all of a sudden i am not seeing the text message Icon. i have to go into general message and veiw folder (SMS) to see my msg
I am finally letting go of my bb z10... but need to get my messages over to my new Galaxy S5. I can transfer my contacts via Verizon contacts manager but I have a lot of text messages I like to keep.
Which connection is needed to send messages while using a BB Pin number? Is it at the same cost as a text message or would I get charged for making a short connection to the internet?
am loving most things about my new Blackberry but the texting is proving to be a little glitchy. I receive texts but it comes up with 'unidentified subscriber' when I try to reply and messages have a red cross by them and will not send.
This is coming and going - typically I went into tech support shop day after I had gone online and it all seemed fine, but now has gone this way again?
if it's possible to retrieve text messages from a blackberry if they're NOT saved on the sim card.I have a Curve 8250 if that makes a difference.I want to retrieve any deleted text, sent, or received.
I suddenly cannot see the contents, text or HTML, in any of my email. I am relatively new to Blackberry. I am using a Torch and I think that I may have accidently set something. I hate touch screens! Anyway, I see the sender name and subject, but no message in the body.
I received an email from Hotmail today advising that on 31st of May; I wouldn't get a text notifying me of new emails arriving in my Hotmail inbox. Its a bit of a shame really although not an insurmountable problem. Webmail has its uses afterall..I was just wondering if VirginMedia are the only affected users or if this is any/all mobile users who also have a Hotmail account?I'd love Hotmail's inbox to be a bit more mobile friendly. Get shot of the graphics and make it as basic as possible! I'm sure that idea will never amount to anything though.I do have to wonder if this is the start of email notification by text being phased out. Perhaps an attempt to reduce the drain on resources?
