Nov 11, 2012Accidentally went into a message I wasn't supposed to be on, happend to be a draft message so it bumped it up to the most recent message.

BB Bold :: Old Text Messages Become Draft Messages?
Jun 23, 2011I recently discovered that when I scroll down to look at my old text messages, a lot of them have turned into drafts and when I click into them, all the texts are gone. I have also noticed that there are the occasional text messages amongst the green ones that I can read. I suspect that this has to do with the fact that I have saved those messages in a folder.
My phone is running on OS 6.0.0.448, could this have something to do with it? My phone did not originally come with this OS system as it is a Bold 9700. In my message settings, my messages are set to be kept forever. And my validity period is set to Max. I also use this phone with 2 different numbers and sim cards in different countries. Could this have something to do with it?

Aug 20, 2010Right have a look at the screenshots below. I started writing an SMS, accidentally hit some shortcut thing (I do it all the time) and my draft is saved into the conversation, as you can see.Then I can start a fresh draft, with the old draft put to one side in the thread.

Jul 8, 2010I purchased the 9650 bold a few weeks ago. I do not do a lot of texting, but when I do, the texts are pretty long. On my old BB I hit the back arrow key and it saved to draft, (i would often have 4-5 texts in draft before I sent all out) If im not mistaken you cant do this on the new 9650?? The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.

Jan 24, 2012So my N79 is refusing to let me send text messages on the grounds that "Text Message: Not enough memory to perform operation. Please delete some data first". So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..
