Right have a look at the screenshots below. I started writing an SMS, accidentally hit some shortcut thing (I do it all the time) and my draft is saved into the conversation, as you can see. Then I can start a fresh draft, with the old draft put to one side in the thread.
For the first time today, I noticed that if you accidentally push the home or back buttons while composing an email, you lose it. This seems a little ridiculous, unless I am missing something and the email is saved somewhere?
Shouldnt there be a prompt of some sort that lets you know you are going to erase the currently composed email, before going into another screen?
How do you reference a previous iphone sms conversation without cancelling (destroying) the current message? Copy and paste is a clunky and dangerous method on a touch screen... With Apple being a UI focused corporation, this is a major oversight.
Just replaced broken Bberry Bold. Restored, backed up and set up email, etc. I receive email, however to respond or send a new email, I get this message. 'No message services configured. You will only be able to Save Draft'. Already have email address set up so it won't let me go any further.
I typed in full email address in "To" field and then some text in the body. When ready to send, I press that "Menu" button and got a list of options on the left-hand side. Everything except "Send" Can only save as draft. However,
(1) if I go to contact list first and select someone's email then I can send. No problem. (2) also, SMS provides "send" option so no issue there either. (3) receiving emails works fine. Did "resend service books" numerous times and battery pull too.
When i try and send a picture message on my blackberry as i press on compose mms, a pop up comes up and says 'No MMS service record, message cannot be sent. You will only be able to Save Draft.' by my singnal i have GPRS and full signal how do i send a picture?
BOLD 9700, T-Mobile. I have current OS. I am receiving the above message when I try to reply to an email. Yesterday---I didn't have this problem. I go to email set up & my email addresses are there. When I am in message options, and choose Email Settings--- there isn't ANYTHING there.
I purchased the 9650 bold a few weeks ago. I do not do a lot of texting, but when I do, the texts are pretty long. On my old BB I hit the back arrow key and it saved to draft, (i would often have 4-5 texts in draft before I sent all out) If im not mistaken you cant do this on the new 9650?? Do I need to get an application to assist with this? ANy suggestions? Sorry if this is a rookie question but...Im a rookie when it comes to these phones.
Is it possible to save webpages with the BB web browser? I was able to do that with other browsers but my BIS doesn't cover browsing on those browsers so I get charged for using them.
Blackberry Bold 9780, using BIS I have written an email and saved as a draft. When I come back to the email, there is no option to SEND the email. Menu button gives no SEND Option.
The problem I experience (BB Bold & AT&T, using on Microsoft Exchange, with Mac Snow Leopard) is that every time I save an email as draft, it appears as a new unread email on my BlackBerry. And I cannot delete them just one by one, which is kind of annoying with 20 messages...
I tried to send an email with a lot of photos in it (copy/paste from photos app). After copying some photos (maybe 7 or 8), the phone started to behave slowly, then the app mail crashed. From this moment, I can't start the mail app. It crashes immediately.I tried to reboot/hard reboot my phone, nothing worked. Do you have any suggestion before trying a complete restore, like deleting the draft with some trick ?
I sent a text to my friend. They replied but it came as a seperate thread not as a reply to the one I had just sent. Usually I can scroll up and read all our texts in seperate boxes. I have the bb torch 9800. This is what I see: from the main screen click on test messages. It shows as a green bubble as if it is a draft message and 4 characters that I don't ever remember typing. But when I click on the message all I see is their reply message to me but can't see the 4 characters from the supposedly draft message that shows in the list of text messages. Also there is no box at the bottom to type my reply. If I go back to the list of text messages and click the bb button I can click reply but when I do once again all I see is their message but still no 4 characters of the draft message or text box for me to type in.
I wonder if the following happens to anyone else: On X10 mini pro when disturbed when typing a message, the message will autosave and appear as Draft. If I hit that Draft, I get the error message: "Sorry! The application Messaging (process com.sonyericsson.conversations) has stopped unexpectedly.
I use my phone to contact my house burglar alarm and as such send texts to and from the alarm using a coded message format.on my old phone i used to save drafts of all the key messages and i could save them all in one folder and with the house alarm number saved as a starred contact it was just click message and send.any easy way to do that on the SII?? Ive tried saving loads of drafts but with the standard message system they all just filter down the message "conversation" list meaning if ive sent loads of texts i have to scroll for ages to find a message from the alarm and then enter it to send the draft.
I re-set up my Hotmail account on my iPhone 4S (IOS 7.1.1) tonight after deleting it due to space issues. I have set it up as pop account with the previous settings but now to send a mail from my iPhone I have to save it as draft as the send button is greyed out. When I open the draft the send button is available and sends my mails as normal - what setting have I missed to make this happen?Â
Here are the settings I used:
Incoming Mail server: Host Name: pop3.live.com User name XX@hotmail.com Password: XXÂ Outgoing mail server: SMTP/Primary server: smtp.live.com (marked "On") Host name: smtp.live.com User Name: XX@hotmail.com Password: xx User SSL: "On" Authentication: Password Server Port: 587Â
I recently discovered that when I scroll down to look at my old text messages, a lot of them have turned into drafts and when I click into them, all the texts are gone. I have also noticed that there are the occasional text messages amongst the green ones that I can read. I suspect that this has to do with the fact that I have saved those messages in a folder.
My phone is running on OS 6.0.0.448, could this have something to do with it? My phone did not originally come with this OS system as it is a Bold 9700. In my message settings, my messages are set to be kept forever. And my validity period is set to Max. I also use this phone with 2 different numbers and sim cards in different countries. Could this have something to do with it?
I have a Torch 9860, and just completed another backup using BlackBerry Protect. This is not my first backup, FYI.And the strange this is every time I login to protect.blackberry.com, my device is not shown.
How do I sync files between my blackberry and my pc, I have dragged the files from my pc into the files window in BlackBerry Desktop Software, but they dont appear on the phone.
