BB Bold :: How To Send A Saved Draft
Sep 12, 2011Blackberry Bold 9780, using BIS I have written an email and saved as a draft. When I come back to the email, there is no option to SEND the email. Menu button gives no SEND Option.

Jun 3, 2010I typed in full email address in "To" field and then some text in the body. When ready to send, I press that "Menu" button and got a list of options on the left-hand side. Everything except "Send" Can only save as draft. However,
(1) if I go to contact list first and select someone's email then I can send. No problem.
(2) also, SMS provides "send" option so no issue there either.
(3) receiving emails works fine.
Did "resend service books" numerous times and battery pull too.
IPhone 4s :: Mail Account - Send Button Grayed Out But Available In Draft?
Jun 25, 2014I re-set up my Hotmail account on my iPhone 4S (IOS 7.1.1) tonight after deleting it due to space issues. I have set it up as pop account with the previous settings but now to send a mail from my iPhone I have to save it as draft as the send button is greyed out. When I open the draft the send button is available and sends my mails as normal - what setting have I missed to make this happen?Â
Here are the settings I used:
Incoming Mail server:
Host Name: pop3.live.com
User name XX@hotmail.com
Password: XXÂ
Outgoing mail server:
SMTP/Primary server: smtp.live.com (marked "On")

Jan 27, 2010The problem I experience (BB Bold & AT&T, using on Microsoft Exchange, with Mac Snow Leopard) is that every time I save an email as draft, it appears as a new unread email on my BlackBerry. And I cannot delete them just one by one, which is kind of annoying with 20 messages...

Jul 21, 2011Just replaced broken Bberry Bold. Restored, backed up and set up email, etc. I receive email, however to respond or send a new email, I get this message. 'No message services configured. You will only be able to Save Draft'. Already have email address set up so it won't let me go any further.

Jul 8, 2010I purchased the 9650 bold a few weeks ago. I do not do a lot of texting, but when I do, the texts are pretty long. On my old BB I hit the back arrow key and it saved to draft, (i would often have 4-5 texts in draft before I sent all out) If im not mistaken you cant do this on the new 9650?? Do I need to get an application to assist with this? ANy suggestions? Sorry if this is a rookie question but...Im a rookie when it comes to these phones.

Jun 23, 2011I recently discovered that when I scroll down to look at my old text messages, a lot of them have turned into drafts and when I click into them, all the texts are gone. I have also noticed that there are the occasional text messages amongst the green ones that I can read. I suspect that this has to do with the fact that I have saved those messages in a folder.
My phone is running on OS 6.0.0.448, could this have something to do with it? My phone did not originally come with this OS system as it is a Bold 9700. In my message settings, my messages are set to be kept forever. And my validity period is set to Max. I also use this phone with 2 different numbers and sim cards in different countries. Could this have something to do with it?

May 8, 2010this problem has been driving me crazy for the past couple of days. For some reason every new picture I take doesn't get displayed in the main Media/All Pictures folder. I checked where they are supposed to be stored and everything is right: Media Card/Blackberry/pictures, but still nothing gets displayed! I know its not a problem with the camera, because I can see these new pix if I press menu biutton on Media/explore/media card/blackberry/pictures - but thats so annoying to look at pix this way!!! Nov 2, 2012The messages in my Saved Messages folder now have the message status "Mailbox couldn't find original message, if forwarding or replying please resend the message" so that there is now a red X next to each saved message. I can still open each email to read it, but the attachments (all .jpgs) are not opening - all timeout for sending request.

BB Bold 9700 :: Any Way To Get Saved Texts / Contacts Back
Aug 8, 2010I was over at my sister's home. She decided to take a crack at guessing my blackberry password... 10 times. Ultimately she ended up clearing about 4 months worth of text messages, and contacts, the photos however remained unscathed.This lead me to wonder;
1. What is affected by a memory wipe.
2. Whether it's actually called a memory wipe, when someone enters your password wrong too many times.
3. Is there any way to get my contacts back?
4. Is there any way to get my saved texts back.Before I go on, I realize that this phone was and is designed specifically for business, I don't expect that there would be a way to get this information back, as that would defeat the purpose of a memory wipe in the first place.
5. How and where can I install the desktop manager? I've only been using my BB how it came out from the box because the CD included tends to freeze / crash my computer.
6. Why is it that the photos remain on the phone? 7. Before the memory wipe, my SIM card had enough space to hold tens of thousands of text messages, now after the wipe, and just another 10 - 20 texts, it constantly says "The SIM card is full." this is what got me HOPING, PRAYING, that somehow, my data was still in there somewhere.
Finally, thank you for taking the time to read through this, if you have an answer or a thought on any of the above, please feel free to post it. I need all the help I can get. (New to BB, New to forums, I might as well right "Lost" on my forehead and walk around this website.
