BlackBerry :: Compose From Non Default Account?
Jun 3, 2011I have 2 email accounts, a corp account and an internet account. When I review emails in the internet account and then compose an email, the blackberry now populates the send using field with the default corporate account. That's new behavior of the BIS according to my ATT support contact. I can't go back to the previous behavior where it just populated the send using field with whatever account I was reading at the time. Anyone know of a workaround? It's a pain to change the send using field every time I write an email from my internet account.

The above code runs on all devices and shows the output "My message". But on Motorola XT925,it shows blank text.

May 2, 2012When my daughter sends me a text from her Blackberry Torch I cannot simply reply to it. I can type a response but it will not send. I can however go into my contacts and hit send msg to her that way but it is frustrating, time consuming and annoying.

Apr 11, 2010I just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530.I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email.However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured".That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry.I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up.But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done. I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone.I am a bit of an electrical gimp.

Apr 22, 2015I think this has been happening ever since the first release of 8.1. Basically if the phone sleeps while a messaging conversation is open, when I wake and unlock the phone, there will often be random gibberish in the compose field. So if I want to send a message, I first have to erase the gibberish.
idk, it's just weird and annoying and I can't figure out what's causing it. My best guess is that it has something to do with typing in the pin code to unlock the phone... which I just realized I should try and test with and without having to type in the pin.

BB Bold 9700 :: Mass Deleting Text. Or Not?
Apr 27, 2010so I've tried finding this in the manual and have tried searching the threads, and haven't found my answer. Upon first getting used to the keys on my 9700, I would accidentally delete all the text I had just type in my SMS texts. I could have been pressing multiple buttons due to my bulky bodyglove that I have on it, but I've tried everything: pressing Delete twice really fast, holding the Delete key down, pressing the Delete key down while pressing the surrounding keys down...everything. Now that I want the whole field cleared, I can't figure out how it did it when I didn't intend to do it initially.Anyone know what to do, aside from going to the Menu and pressing Clear Field? I was only "backspacing" at the time I was fixing character typos, and somehow it managed to delete the whole field.

My Nokia E71 did it just fine as well on at&t.I assume it's a limitation imposed by at&t; if I were to have the phone unlocked, would it remove this limitation?Is there any way I can work around this "flaw"?Plz help, I'm addicted to this dam phone now and would hate to give it up.

Aug 18, 2010The bar on the top of the screen between the "select a profile" and the "search magnifying glass" where the notifications pop up not sure what that page is called but in this slide down screen under Text Messages I have a text message that is staying at unread. Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Does anyone else have this problem and figure out a way to refresh and get ride of it? I've tried turning the device on and off a few times but doesn't fix the issue.

0) I have two message in my Inbox, Remove and replace the battery and switch on the device. After that I format E:Mass Storage and close File manager
1) In Messaging Options I select Settings and than Other and change the Memory in user to E:Mass Storage
2) I'm asked if I'd like to "copy all messages to the new message memory". I click on "Yes"
3) I'm asked if I'd like to "Save original messages" and I click "No" as I'd like to use the new stoage exclusively
After that the Inbox is empty.

Motorola Droid Turbo :: Unable To Send Out Mass Text Messages
Jan 7, 2015Since I got the Motorola Droid Turbo I have not been able to send out mass text. my last droid phone I could click on people which then opened my contact list, there was boxes next to each contact for me to check multiple people. On the Droid Turbo, when I need to send out a text with multiple people there is no way I see to get to my contacts and click on multiple people. I send out a mass text every week and need to get this quirk fixed. I have also tried a few texting apps. but when I send out the mass text a message box pops up that says "SMS is sending a large amount of... do you want to allow? I click allow, but the box will continue to pop up over and over, but does not actually send out all of the texts. I only send 20 text at a time, so I'm not sure why it is not working as far as the texting app goes. Mostly I would like to be able to use the regular texting app that comes with the phone again.
