Feb 17, 2012How can I set a reminder in my calendar that shows a note on the front page of the phone what is being reminded? All I can get as a reminder is a sound and then I have to check the calendar to see what it has been set for. If I dont hear the reminder it is missed. Hope this makes sense, on my old phone a note comes up at the same time as the reminder sound and stays until removed.

Nokia :: E72 / Calender Reminder Silent
Mar 11, 2010I have an E72 and love it. Just a question, I regularly sync my calender using the Nokia PC Suite and it works well. I silenced a reminder using the "silent" button and now some reminders are silent. The phone's display flashes but no audible alert. I've checked the profile and it defiantly has a setting enabled for an audible reminder. Any ideas?The alarms are perfect.

Mar 23, 2010When I have a calendar reminder pop up and my key lock is on, the phone doesn't allow me to either stop or snooze the alarm.I can understand that, but what I can't understand is that I cannot remove the key lock. When I move the slider at the side the key lock doesn't come off.As a consequence of this the reminder keeps going off every 5 minutes unless I have got the key lock off before this happens.

Nokia Nseries :: Ovi Sign In Reminder Won't Go Away
Oct 13, 2011After the recent update on my N8 every morning when I turn it on the Ovi register/login/later reminder comes up and won't go away till I respond, I don't want to have that every time and I don't want to wait while it goes through the 'oh you don't want to? oh I will try to connect anyway' routine.
Its driving me nuts can I switch that off?

Sep 4, 2014Today I noticed an issue with my Reminder app on my IPhone 5s. Using OS 7.1.2. I called Apple, and the tech didn't know what he was doing and just trying different things.The reminder app will not let me set a date and time for reminder. Finally, senior advisor insisted the Reminder App was updated with the new update of IOS September/October 2013. Not true, the issue just started about 5 days ago August 31,2014. Now there is an additional reminder line for reminder entries that I have to use and have to transfer all my reminders manually from the other part of the app. The feature does exist; if I try to set a date and time for the reminder it appears for 1-2 seconds and then disappears.

Mar 20, 2015I've been having a problem these past few days, something strange is happening..
1) When i use google voice to set a reminder, for example "remind me in 2 hours to take out the laundry" it sets an alarm for that reminder instead of a notification
2) If i set the same reminder for a couple of days from now it sets it as an appointment in the calendar (it asks me which calendar app i want to use, which is new) instead of a reminder.
3) When i manually set a reminder it doesn't notify me
4) I cant seem to find where the setting is for the sound played for the reminder notification, which was somewhere in the past.

The only reminder options are 9:00 the day of (which is too late) or 9:00 the day before (which gives you a whole day to forget about it). Why can I not select when I want a reminder? I have tried both alert tab in the event itself, and the default alert setting under settings/mail, contacts, calendars/default alert times.

Jun 20, 2012With Calendar, when creating an event, it is possible to customise the time of the alarm. I like to have them all at 6am when I wake up, and that's easy done if I have my computer. But when creating an event fron the iPhone, you only have a few choices of time for an alarm, such as "1hour before the event" or "the day before", that doesn't really suit me.

In "notification center" "reminders" set as "Alerts" and "show in Notification center" and "show on lock screen" are on. What else could be done to make it working?! Jul 1, 2010On main page in Active Standby, it shows all To-Dos as pending including those from future as well, like it will say 10 pending tasks while actually 2 are pending while 8 are still from some future date. This was not an issue with my earlier 6120.
To-Do alarm rings only once. Any time I miss a To-Do alarm there is no way that it reminds me again that I missed it until I check my Calender. There should be something like repeatedly ringing every 5 minutes till we respond.

Jul 5, 2011I recently bought a 5230 and set a reminder for this morning - worked perfectly and went off when it should but I couldn't make it stop again - or silence it either. In the end, I had to wait until it ran out of steam so that I could access the memo and take the reminder alarm off. Am I missing something obvious?
