View 7 RepliesBlackberry and Microsoft mobile platforms offer this. Clearly Apple isn't losing sales because of not offering a Snooze for the native calendar, but it is an extreme nuisance to not implement what seems as such a simple feature.
I can't see Apple ignoring what many business users would find useful for no reason. Is it a patent issue? I don't understand how it would be if both Microsoft and RIM have this feature...

How do I go about changing the snooze on my alarm on the s6 edge? I used to be able to change it to different intervals on my S5 but I can't seem to figure it out on my new S6 edge..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been using the samsung calendar for a while now, and HAD a default set up with my desktop Google calendar for 3 different reminders on each so I dont forget, oversleep etc. anyhow It seems that when Google calendar STOPPED sending SMS messages earlier idk this month or last month I have NOT been able to set up more than ONE reminder even from a appt set from my phone, after the first reminder is set the green plus sing is no longer there to add more. I CAN go into older appt's and edit and the multiple reminders are still there and the green plus to add more is there and selectible. I am assuming it has something to do with the google calendar so what is up?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've setup my alarm snooze time as 15 minutes in the Calendar options. But each time an alarm goes off, the snooze time (displayed on the snooze button) is 5 minutes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have set numerous calendar message reminders and none of them sound at the required time. I have made sure all profiles are set to sound the alert.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is about opening from a POPUP, not directly from the calendar. In OS4.x, opening a popup reminder always asked if I wanted to open the series or the occurrence. In OS6.x it just opens the series without asking. Therefore, if I need to reschedule the appointment, I have to go into the Calendar app, where opening the appointment does ask if I want to open the series or the occurrence as it should. I shouldn't have to do that. I skipped OS5.x, so I don't know what it did.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAll reminders set on my Blackberry Torch 9800 would not provide a reminder (a pop up screen) nor would it vibrate (in normal and vibrate mode) or make a sound (in normal mode) when the time of reminder was set. For example: Time now it is 4:50pm and I set a reminder for 5pm with a reminder set for 5 min. On my previous BB9700 a reminder would be generated at 4:55 pm (a sound and/or vibrate depending on the mode and profile setting). On my current BB 9800, nothing would happen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedDo you remember date bug and snooze bug?Well, alarm bug strikes again!Ok, this time is not worse as the previous (I mean, there is no risk to miss an appointment or sleep till noon), you will get only a WSOD (White Screen Of Death)
1. At 11.45 PM set an alarm for the next day at 8.30 AM
2. Turn off the phone
3. Go to sleep. Remember to sleep at least 8 hours
4. When the alarm rings at 8.30 AM, snooze it
5. When the alarm rings at 8.35 AM, snooze it again
6. When the alarm rings at 8.40 AM, stop it
7. When the phone asks "switch on phone?" answer Yes
8. Insert the PIN (if any)
9. Congrats, you got a WSOD!
I was sure to be able to reproduce it so I made a (very bad quality) video, I can post it if you need Link to the last part of the video: http://www.zshare.net/video/7815866644a5ee87/
Notes:
a. I did a deep reset *#7370# before setting the alarm (the video proves that)
b. I don't know if snoozing (points 4 and 5) is necessary (you can snooze more times), I can test this once a day, tomorrow I'll know more.
I switch my E72 phone off for the night. In the morning the alarm rings, and I like the snooze function, I snooze several times (5 minutes). However, every now and then, the phone will not ring after a few snoozes, but will remain silent (and I get late).Usually does it after 25 minutes (5 snoozes),I cannot switch the phone on - I have to take out the battery, and put it back. Then it will immediately ring - usually shows the last snooze time, but of course I will have to set the time.It has been to the service, but this problem has remaind, but it is very annoying, usually it is very important not to be late!
View 4 Replies View RelatedX6 Alarms, how do they work. I see it can take multiple alarms (one up on Blackberry), BUT how do you switch them off, or snooze? When the alarm goes off, a partly lit screen appaears with a STOP and SNOOZE button on the touch screen. Tapping either does nothing. Even unlocking the phone on the side slideer and then taping on these two tough screen button does nothing!. Only recourse is to click on the Red Telephone button, which seems to have the same effect as a snooze button. Still no idea how to actually switch it off, and tend to go into alarms and delete it or reset it to a prior time. Also do alarms that are set for "Weekdays" stay, or do you have to reset (re create) the alarm each time.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI need an app or solution to remind me by sound every 14 minutes and then by snoozing it after 14 minutes again and again. How can I manage this?
Is there an app which can manage this or a function in the bb bold 9000?
since the update to Sense 3.0, my alarm cannot be snoozed anymore.I go to sleep, alarm goes off, and i get 2 options: snooze or cancel. (dont know exact options in English, got other language). I choose snooze, for 10minutes, I have this options enabled. and I see the Snooze screen for 2 seconds, and then it disappears. The clock is also not in upper bar on phone screen, its just cancelled. When I want to reproduce this problem, I try this when the phone is on, not on standby, it works!! I get the snooze screen. But when im asleep the phone is ofcourse on standby modus, or at least the display is off. Then it doenst work.

I'd like to be able to have the snooze function off by default when creating alarms using the Clock app (particularly for alarms created via Siri, but also for manually set alarms), but there seems to be no way to do this. Do you have to create the alarm first and then edit it to set the snooze facility off?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got the Blackberry Internet Service and the right information by my company for the activation. Now I want to activate the enterprise service but it failed. I've seen a video how to do this: [URL].

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my N95 for about 18 months now. I don't use a lot of the things on it, but one I do use is the alarm clock to get me out of bed in time for work. I like to have a bit of "coming around" time so I usually have a few snoozes before getting up. I generally switch the phone off at night so I don't get woken by text messages and calls. This has worked fine since I got the phone. However, this week I upgraded to the new software and since then I've had the following problem -When the alarm goes off and I press snooze (which makes the phone switch off again)the alarm doesn't come on after 5 minutes. However, once I turn the phone on the snooze alarm immediately comes on even if this is 10 minutes after it should have.
I tried the following test to try to replicate it once I had got to work. With the phone on, set the alarm for a few minutes in the future, then snooze - works fine. With the phone off do the same - works fine.
So it appears that this problem either happens when the alarm is for the following day or when the phone has been off for some time.Has anyone else found this and does anyone have any suggestions of how it could be resolved?
Had my phone about a month and have had the slide to answer or reject calls and also the slider for turning my alarm off or snooze, but have just noticed that i have dull buttons to press now, any one know how i can get my slide back, did kinda like it!!!

How to alter the snooze time but not how to disable it.
