How do I go about changing the snooze on my alarm on the s6 edge? I used to be able to change it to different intervals on my S5 but I can't seem to figure it out on my new S6 edge..

Is there a way to change the default 5 min calendar snooze to something else without having to download an app? This is for a S6, my wife has an S4 with latest OS and she has this option.
View 3 Replies View RelatedBlackberry and Microsoft mobile platforms offer this. Clearly Apple isn't losing sales because of not offering a Snooze for the native calendar, but it is an extreme nuisance to not implement what seems as such a simple feature.
I can't see Apple ignoring what many business users would find useful for no reason. Is it a patent issue? I don't understand how it would be if both Microsoft and RIM have this feature...

Question is is there a way to have fingerprint n pattern unlock working simultaneously? I want the fingerprint for myself and for a few friends who use my cell they could use the pattern cos the backup password is to annoying to type otherwise

For example, say i have 30 Favorites, and it self populated due to that Samsung app called.SmartSwitch or something like that, it transferred via bluetooth from my S5 to my S6 Edge most of the
settings, wallpaper, etc.Well, believe it or not, those 30 favorite contacts are NOT in alphabetical order! There is only an edit function called Re-Order, where YOU must re-order it yourself! So, it's a little like a puzzle, where you'd have to move almost all of your 30 favorite contacts in order to put them in alphabetical order!! that can't be true, right? (i.e. lacking a "put in alphabetical order" option).
I have been using the fingerprint scan security for a week or so and I decided it's just too laggy to keep using. Now I can not figure out how to go back to just swiping up top unlock the screen. The section labeled "swipe" in the settings is grayed out.

Knowing my dad, he had forgotten the password and cannot get in here, the only suggestion we have found is reset your phone which obviously is a bit last resort.
I have found some suggestions I. e. sign in your Google account however that did not work nor did a suggestion which was to go in private mode and from there it will prompt the fingerprint and make that default.
so my question is how do I restart the password?
I have the s galaxy s6 edge and I am trying to activate the video calling. Every time I try to use it it says network error has occurred. then when I tried to follow directions I found on youtube : activating the video calling option under "advance call" options I have found I don't have "advanced call" options on my phone?why would the option not be there? how do I get my advance call options?

However the one thing (so far) that I don't like is that I cannot use a 3rd party application to listen to my voice mails. My provider sends my voice messages as an AMR attachment in an MMS. When playing the AMR attachment the default app is sound player (I think), which plays the audio through the external speaker. With other phones I have had great success with WavPlayer which allows switching between the external speaker and the ear speaker. It will even allow you to switch automatically if it detects you raising the phone to your ear.
In short I want to use WavPlayer instead of the default app for listening to my voicemails from the messages app but have not figured out how to accomplish this.
How to change the default app that gets launched when Bluetooth connects? It seems to always launch the built in music app which is definitely not what I want. Can I set this to Spotify or something else?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had this problem for a while and now I'm getting work I don't want to miss my phone because I've put it on dead mode. Before I factory reset my phone, I was able to change my volume using the side buttons to go from different levels of sound, then vibrate only, then dead mode (complete silent and no vibrations). Now I only have different levels of sound and dead mode. I read about changing an option in sounds to vibrate only in silent mode, which will fix this but I can't find that either (my suspicians are that this option was taken out in ICS or moved to a secret location to foil my plans).

View 5 Replies View RelatedI noticed the stock alarm clock seems very stripped down compared to the one on my note 3. Either that or I am not seeing the settings to change these things. Here are some things that are bugging me:
- when the alarm ring there are no icons that show snooze or cancel. (just an X in the middle and you can slide left or right but no icons telling you what they do.)
- When I turn an alarm on there is no pop up that tells me in how long it will go off. (Good for when you accidentally put the time in PM intead of AM you can catch it with the pop up.)
- When I turn the snooze button on in settings, I can not customize the 5- minute intervals it snoozes at.
Is there any way to change any of these??? They were in the stock alarm app for my Galaxy note 3 so I am wondering if maybe I am not seeing something.
I just wanted to ask if there is some app or something to make my edge glow while screen off.

Recently I notice, every time I leave my office or area with wifi, my network coverage doesn't change to EDGE automatically. Sometimes I get edge, sometimes nothing at all (either "X" or OFF). I've to turn my BB off for few seconds, turn it back on, then I get EDGE. Does anybody know why this happens?

What I noticed with the new one is that when sending an SMS message and while typing with Greek language keyboard, I get a notification regarding special characters that will reduce the available length from 160 (that is a typical SMS length) to 70. I tried to search the options with no sucess. Also with my previous Z3 I had no such problems as well as with the predecessors Z2 and Z1.. Also tried to install and use google messenger without success.

Just been upgraded to a 6303i Classic. I want to remove Web (which I won't use) from the Right Selection key and put Names there like it was on my old 6230.
The manual says I can change the Right Selection key in Settings, My Shortcuts. I see options to change the Left Selection key and the Navigation key, but there is no option to change the Right Selection key.
The software is on version 6.84. I attempted the update to 7.10 using the phone's own updater, but it came back saying no update was available.
by telling me where can i find the option to change from WAP to internet browser. I may already be on internet browser but i want to be certain?
