I've got a Nokia N9 64GB with PR1.1 (20.2011.40-4) FW Version.I've noticed that when the alarm clock goes off I can only have two snooze periods, i.e., after the initial alarm there are max. two more alarms turning the phone face down.Is this a default max.? Any idea how to change this ?(I believe in Symbian the default is 7)
Has anyone had a problem with their calendar info after they layout has changed on their website? All my diarised appointments now repeat themselves everyday, they have well and truly cocked up my data.I see there have been updates regarding repeating calendar entries when changing time zone on the change log of previous ovi updates so i wonder if they have yet to include that update on this one.I have reported it to Nokia so i hope i get a call soon otherwise i will never use ovi or any nokia services again.
Do you remember date bug and snooze bug?Well, alarm bug strikes again!Ok, this time is not worse as the previous (I mean, there is no risk to miss an appointment or sleep till noon), you will get only a WSOD (White Screen Of Death) 1. At 11.45 PM set an alarm for the next day at 8.30 AM 2. Turn off the phone 3. Go to sleep. Remember to sleep at least 8 hours 4. When the alarm rings at 8.30 AM, snooze it 5. When the alarm rings at 8.35 AM, snooze it again 6. When the alarm rings at 8.40 AM, stop it 7. When the phone asks "switch on phone?" answer Yes 8. Insert the PIN (if any) 9. Congrats, you got a WSOD! I was sure to be able to reproduce it so I made a (very bad quality) video, I can post it if you need Link to the last part of the video: http://www.zshare.net/video/7815866644a5ee87/ Notes: a. I did a deep reset *#7370# before setting the alarm (the video proves that) b. I don't know if snoozing (points 4 and 5) is necessary (you can snooze more times), I can test this once a day, tomorrow I'll know more.
I switch my E72 phone off for the night. In the morning the alarm rings, and I like the snooze function, I snooze several times (5 minutes). However, every now and then, the phone will not ring after a few snoozes, but will remain silent (and I get late).Usually does it after 25 minutes (5 snoozes),I cannot switch the phone on - I have to take out the battery, and put it back. Then it will immediately ring - usually shows the last snooze time, but of course I will have to set the time.It has been to the service, but this problem has remaind, but it is very annoying, usually it is very important not to be late!
X6 Alarms, how do they work. I see it can take multiple alarms (one up on Blackberry), BUT how do you switch them off, or snooze? When the alarm goes off, a partly lit screen appaears with a STOP and SNOOZE button on the touch screen. Tapping either does nothing. Even unlocking the phone on the side slideer and then taping on these two tough screen button does nothing!. Only recourse is to click on the Red Telephone button, which seems to have the same effect as a snooze button. Still no idea how to actually switch it off, and tend to go into alarms and delete it or reset it to a prior time. Also do alarms that are set for "Weekdays" stay, or do you have to reset (re create) the alarm each time.
I've had my N95 for about 18 months now. I don't use a lot of the things on it, but one I do use is the alarm clock to get me out of bed in time for work. I like to have a bit of "coming around" time so I usually have a few snoozes before getting up. I generally switch the phone off at night so I don't get woken by text messages and calls. This has worked fine since I got the phone. However, this week I upgraded to the new software and since then I've had the following problem -When the alarm goes off and I press snooze (which makes the phone switch off again)the alarm doesn't come on after 5 minutes. However, once I turn the phone on the snooze alarm immediately comes on even if this is 10 minutes after it should have. I tried the following test to try to replicate it once I had got to work. With the phone on, set the alarm for a few minutes in the future, then snooze - works fine. With the phone off do the same - works fine. So it appears that this problem either happens when the alarm is for the following day or when the phone has been off for some time.Has anyone else found this and does anyone have any suggestions of how it could be resolved?
Had my phone about a month and have had the slide to answer or reject calls and also the slider for turning my alarm off or snooze, but have just noticed that i have dull buttons to press now, any one know how i can get my slide back, did kinda like it!!!
Is there a way to snooze the alarm clock without having to open my eyes and do it via the touch screen. I use to be able to press the red button on my previous phone.
I have just updated my 5800 software via the updater After update I have problems - anyone else also have these problems?in messaging the old software would capitalise on each new line the new software will not however if I make a space and then backspace then the line capitalises also if I go out of editing then come back to editing the new will capitalise .ALSO Problem with the alarn. When the alarm goes off I am unable to use the touch screen to stop or snooze anf the stop button does not work. I can only snooze till the third snooze when only stop is available.
I upgraded my phone to V40.0.005 s/w recently. Now when I use the alarm on my phone I cannot use the "stop" or "snooze" buttons, I touch the options but nothing happens. If I click on the Red "end call" button then it seems to put it into Snooze and the alarm goes off again after ten minutes....
I just bought 5530 Xpressmusic yesterday and new to smartphones/touchscreens. I have a question.Whenever the phone touch screen is locked, and if i get a call, i am not able to answer or reject it directly from touch screen, unless i manually unlock the screen using right side lever. Although i can see the Answer/Reject option in screen, when i touch them they don't work. Also the Green/Red options at bottom of touch screen are also not working.Similarly, when i set an alarm, i cannot snooze or stop the alarm immediately in touch screen when the alarm rings, unless i unlock the touch screen again manually. Can someone help how to get this working, or is it the design?
My iPhone5 suddenly reboots and it repeats that every 5-10 mins. The problem gets worse when connected to the computer. Sometimes, when battery is low, it goes off and doesn't turn on, but when connected to the computer, it shows the white apple screen and then goes off and does this repeatedly.
On reading some blogs online, i tried to restore the software but it didn't work. I even tried restoring it through a downloaded IPSW, even that didn't work.Â
I hard reset my Lumia 1520 to install Windows 10. It gets as far as the "turning gears" and the progress bar gets about 1/3 of the way to done. Then it reboots and repeats this exact process over and over but never finishes the install.
In Contacts I can chose the "ringtone" and "text tone" to override the default.I receive a text message from my company's pager system and save that address as a contact. And then set a custom "text tone" for that contact. So now normal test messages arrive with the default tone and pages can sound the "Alarm" It would be nice if I Contacts also let me chose the Alert Style and Repeats.(it would also be nice if Repeats worked at all)
I've setup my alarm snooze time as 15 minutes in the Calendar options. But each time an alarm goes off, the snooze time (displayed on the snooze button) is 5 minutes.
Blackberry and Microsoft mobile platforms offer this. Clearly Apple isn't losing sales because of not offering a Snooze for the native calendar, but it is an extreme nuisance to not implement what seems as such a simple feature.
I can't see Apple ignoring what many business users would find useful for no reason. Is it a patent issue? I don't understand how it would be if both Microsoft and RIM have this feature...
since the update to Sense 3.0, my alarm cannot be snoozed anymore.I go to sleep, alarm goes off, and i get 2 options: snooze or cancel. (dont know exact options in English, got other language). I choose snooze, for 10minutes, I have this options enabled. and I see the Snooze screen for 2 seconds, and then it disappears. The clock is also not in upper bar on phone screen, its just cancelled. When I want to reproduce this problem, I try this when the phone is on, not on standby, it works!! I get the snooze screen. But when im asleep the phone is ofcourse on standby modus, or at least the display is off. Then it doenst work.

I'd like to be able to have the snooze function off by default when creating alarms using the Clock app (particularly for alarms created via Siri, but also for manually set alarms), but there seems to be no way to do this. Do you have to create the alarm first and then edit it to set the snooze facility off?
I have recently been given a nokia C3 - 01 phone. I love it but the only problem is, I don't want the snooze option on my alarm. On my old nokia 6300 I had the option of turning the snooze off from settings. I have looked through the manual but cannot find anything that says how to turn the option off totally. How to alter the snooze time but not how to disable it.
Is there a way to change the default 5 min calendar snooze to something else without having to download an app? This is for a S6, my wife has an S4 with latest OS and she has this option.
How do I go about changing the snooze on my alarm on the s6 edge? I used to be able to change it to different intervals on my S5 but I can't seem to figure it out on my new S6 edge..
Came from the s4, and the alarm app had a lot of different amounts of snooze duration and number allowed. This app on the s6 has only one 5 minute Snooze option. I know I'm probably being lazy but I would like to change it if I wanted.
why isnt there a snooze option during task reminder for the torch? this option was available in the curve? i need my reminders to come up on the specified time increments?
