View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new BB Torch 9810 and I'm trying to restore from BB Protect but not all contacts restore - and it seems random which ones don't. I tried a resolution posted about unticking not restoring contacts which are e-mail synchronized but the only option under "Synchronisation Options" on my Torch is "Deleted items". When I look at the back-up data on Protect for the old device (Torch 9800) each synch has 2 Address Book entries with different numbers of items. Could it somehow be restoring only one of these two files?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Blackberry Curve 9300, it seems to freeze a lot lately, sometimes for hours at a time. Like this morning it froze from 12midnight until 5:30am. When it freezes I get a black squared clock at the centre of my screen. I then decided to whip out everything on my phone thinking if I did that everything will be back to normal. After whipping out all my stuff now not only do I still experience the same problem of freezing, I now lost all my BB Messenger contacts that I can't restore. I now don't know what to do. how do I stop my phone from freezing all the the time and how do I restore all my contacts!

my blackberry was dropped in the water, and i did everything i could do to dry it, and now the LED will stay on then off and again on then off, meaning that it flashes but with a long sequence.
so i know that i should try installing a new OS, which I did. but it comes to the point (waiting for initialization) and the phone should boot up, but all it does is that it flashes the LED with the same sequence again as if i did nothing
Everytime i have my torch outside of the holster the screen will never turn off, even if i press the lock button, the screen will go off and then back on in less than a second. this is becoming quite annoying and is draining my battery
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had my BB Torch for about 3-4 months. Today I came home and was talking on the phone. Everything seemed ok. Then I tried making a phone call and it kept hanging up. Was able to finally make the call. Then the battery went on red and asked to be recharged. I plugged it in. It turned itself off while lights on the green and red buttons on the front of the phone were flickering. Still doing it every time it reboots. It's not turning on. Took the battery out. Rebooted a few times and it turned itself off again. It says to stop turning it off to press any key, but it's not working. Then it stayed on for a couple of seconds and it said that it's in safe mode. Tried to press the reset option, but it turned itself off again. Took the battery out again for 5 minutes. Put it back in. It rebooted. Stayed on for a couple of minutes. Tried to update the software, but it turned itself off again. Still not turning back on. It was really hot outside today and I was sweating. Figured that maybe it got wet, but I looked at it and nothing looks to be damaged.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI currently use MightyText to access my phone's messaging system from my computer. However, the phone randomly disconnects from WiFi...well, not really disconnects, but until I take the phone out of standby mode, the WiFi logo doesn't appear at the top of the screen, and I have no connection until I do that.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI am having a frustrating issue on my new LG G4 H815. Any photos I take with the standard photo app appear in Google photos and the gallery. When I delete them from Google Photos, they also are erased from the gallery. BUT, the next day (about a 24 hour cycle it would seem), when I check both google photos and the gallery, the photos have repopulated. However, when I log into google photos online, those deleted photos are gone - so somehow the photos on my phone are not actually being deleted, even though appearing that way at first.
I have tried deleting from the gallery, but that doesn't seem to work either and also I WANT to delete these files across both my cloud storage on google photos and on the phone. I have also emptied the trash on google photos, but still the repopulation occurs the next day. I do have Flickr Auto-backup running, but have disabled it before with no change in result. I even bought a new SD card a few days ago because I read that could be the issue, but that has not worked. I also tried clearing the data under the media storage app to rebuild the media database.
I've had my white G6 for about 3 months now and haven't had any problems until the past few days. I used to be able to connect the BT to several devices: cars, ear piece, speakers, etc, but now the BT won't even stay on long enough to connect to anything. I hit the BT button, it will stay on for about 8 seconds and then turn off.
I did the BT force close, clear cache and it still won't turn on. I did a factory reset this morning and I am still unable to turn on BT.
I searched through the forum and didn't see anything like this - most of the BT issues are about connecting to a device. Mine won't even stay on.
I have a couple weeks old Galaxy S6 that was working great until suddenly today the Bluetooth stopped working..
I turn the phone on from the OFF state.
When it boots, I open the app drawer and choose Settings. Then Bluetooth.
In the Bluetooth screen the switch is toggled off, now I tap the switch to turn it on and it turns green. The text "Turning on.." appears and all looks well, but then suddenly the switch just toggles back to the OFF position again!
I've tried turning it on repeatedly, same thing happens. Have tried toggling it from the pull down menu, and same thing.. It just turns on for 10 seconds then back off again.
It's completely not useful, not a single error message or anything.. Impossible for me to troubleshoot
I tried uninstalling all my apps, didn't fix it.
Had my Sprint gold 64gb S6 since the 12th and have noticed that when I turn off WiFi and get close to a place I've connected before it will automatically connect to it - how to get it to stop this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 2G (first iPhone) that was bought in 2007 locked to AT&T. I've recently had it unlocked by AT&T through iTunes. The problem is, it doesn't stay unlocked.1. With the iPhone unlocked, I was using a Meteor sim. Then I changed to an O2 sim. Immediately as I put in the O2 sim, the iPhone locked back up again and required reconnecting to iTunes to unlock again.2. A while later I wanted to use the internet. I went to settings and saw that wifi was off. So I turned it on. The iPhone immediately locked itself back up again, requiring it be reconnected to iTunes to unlock again.
View 8 Replies View RelatedOn Saturday I dropped my iPhone 3GS in water. I kept it in rice until yesterday (Monday) and it started working again. The only problem is that it will not hold a charge. When charging, it takes 3-5 minutes for the battery to go up one percent. It also dies very fast. I had 100% battery and thirty minutes later I looked down and it was it 30%.

Menu > settings >connectivity >

I work in a place where there is zero AT&T reception, but WiFi coverage in 100% of the area. I just read that iOS4 will allow WiFi to stay connected even when the device is in standby,, IS THIS TRUE?!And if so, could I just get a skype landline number, stay connected to WiFi, and use my iPhone 4 at work through Skype?
