BB Tour :: Phone Reboots When Turn On Bose Bluetooth?
Nov 22, 2011I just bought the Bose Bluetooth Series 2 headset and connected it to my Tour 9630. But there is one BIG issue: when I get a call and turn my bluetooth on, the phone shuts off and reboots.I use Sprint PCS as my carrier and my OS is version 5.My phone is sitting on my desk so a static electric charge is not causing this. On screen, I see the incoming call noticification (the usual with caller ID) and when I turn on my Bose Bluetooth, I see the popup window that tells me my Bluetooth is connected, then the screen goes blank because the phone shuts down and reboots. This is my third Bluetooth earpiece but the first on that causes the reboot. By the way, if I leave the headset turned on, everything works fine--I can answer the phone with no reboots. However, this will kill the battery in the headset as well as my phone as it keeps the bluetooth connection.

Sep 10, 2012My 2 yr old Curve 8530 has recently started to reboot about 5 minutes into any and all phone calls. When rebooting is completed, the battery has been exhausted and needs to be recharged to perform any functions.
Rebooting does NOT occur during any other function use.

Not sure whats going on here, but what can i do to resolve this issue. Jul 15, 2010I have my sound on "Loud (Active)" as I always do and then all of the sudden it stops making any sounds or chimes when I receive calls, emails, texts or facebook notifications.My calls and ect.are still coming thru, but just completely silent.I have to look at my screen to see I have a call coming thru and wait for the little red light at the top to see if I have any text messages and whatnot.Does anyone know why this could be happening?Now during the workday I will probably end up missing important phone calls and playing phone tag with people.Any help would be appreciated

May 6, 2015I've noticed a few times recently when my phone is hot that if I make or receive a call there is no sound. My phone will ring if a call comes in but if I answer it, silence. If I try to make a call, the display shows it's connected and the call timer is ticking away, but I hear nothing, no ringing or voice. I've been told that the other person CAN hear me so I know the calls are connecting. Once the phone is cooler it works fine again. The overheating seems to happen in my car if the display has been on for a while with GPS and/or it's charging, and if it's a sunny day and the phone is getting some direct sunlight.

My Z3 also suffered from the same problem, I was about to send it off for repair but smashed the screen so decided to upgrade early, now the Z5 is doing the same thing. Dec 22, 2015My device runs on AOSIP Hammerhead 2.2 ROM with Solo Gapps. Everything was fine until 2 a couple of days back my device started rebooting at regular intervals. Sometimes when I unlock the screen it reboots, or which working with some application it reboots. After suggestions from some friends I did a dirty and clean flash as well and did a fresh flashing of the ROM + Gapps. But it still ain't resolving my problem.

long story short i would make a call with 100% battery talk for 2-3 minutes the led on the phone would go red, phone would try to restart but would not until i did a battery pull .
once restart was complete my battery would be drained to the point that radio would get shut off.
I am currently using one of my old phones until i can find a solution for this problem any help would be great I miss my storm.

I have read o lot of posts here and have no SD-card installed and also removed my SIM-card. I have tried to use the phone in safe mode and without any WiFi. Nothing worked.

I suspect that my phone reboots or turn itself of when the phone gets hot... but it could also be for some other reasons.
