Nov 29, 2015My phone reboots when I'm on the phone... I can't make a decent call without the phone rebooting...
Should I try a hard reset or return the phone?

Lumia 950 :: WhatsApp Causing Constant Reboots
Feb 2, 2016Since last one month whatsapp has been acting quite weird on my Lumia 950 and my dad's Lumia 550. Both are on Windows Phone .29 build. Original configuration , no insiders preview.Whenever we browse through whatsapp , whatsapp freezes and reboots the phone. We uninstalled whatsapp , reinstalled but that hasnt worked at all.
On my Lumia 950 ive noticed keyboard to stop working inside whatsapp and eventually causing phone to reboot. I am not sure whats causing the issue. Issue is on Wifi as well as cellular data. Its affection both 950 and 550. Today whatsapp update did not fix the issue.

Dec 30, 2012As above on o2 had it almost a month now, had a few freezes in the first week but were few and far between. In the last week or 2 though they have been getting progressively more and more and now in the last couple of days have also been joined by random reboots.
I haven't been able to trace them to any installed app as they happen completely randomly, it also seems to be independent of any connectivity setting. o2 will exchange the phone for me but I can't make it crash to prove to them its faulty, if indeed it is.. Have looked on the site but can't find anyone with similar problems or any indication of what it may be.

Nov 18, 2012My Lumia 920 has issues disconnecting from voice calls when I hang up a fraction of a second after the person on the other line. I almost always get a call was dropped message. I had my phone reboot and get stuck on the Nokia splash screen once.

Apr 21, 2015I am on my second T-Mobile Galaxy S6. The first unit had a hardware camera defect as well as this wifi bug. I had them replace it and the new unit's camera is good but it has the same wifi issue. Here's what happens:
When I go to an area with an "open" wifi network, a notification pops up on my screen that says "Click here to connect to null." What's strange is I have almost all wifi features off, particularly "Network notification." It should not tell me when any network is available. I also have "Allow Always Scanning" off as well as Wifi Calling disabled (not that relevant). Anyway, once this happens, I have about 2 seconds to turn off wifi or else the phone will reboot. It's a "soft" restart though, meaning it shows the Samsung and T-Mobile logo then is back on again within 5-10 seconds and fully "booted" within 30 seconds. This will keep happening until I turn off wifi.
It's not just any wifi connection that will cause the issue. I think it has to be an "open" connection that uses a portal for authentication (think universities, hotels, airports, etc). Recently, I clicked on one of the notifications (connect ot null) and saw a Cisco portal. I am not sure if it's isolated to Cisco AP's...
Galaxy S6 :: SM-G920F Freezes And Constant Reboots Out Of The Blue
Jul 30, 2015Currently I have G920FXXU2BOFJ Baseband and it constantly crashes, even without doing anything. The crashes/reboots are completely random and very annoying. I have tried to update the firmware to a latest version from France (which had some updates for Android 5.1.1, file name G920FXXU2BOG8_G920FOXA2BOG8_XEF) but the problem persists.
Trying to revert the firmware to the original I made a mess so I'm currently using Smart Switch as I write to recover the phone from the dead. I thought it was a hardware problem, but I can leave the phone in Download Mode for as long as I want without issues (not very useful as a smartphone that way though ) However, even in the Wipe Data/Cache mode it still freezes.
BB Curve :: Reboots Itself During Phone Calls?
Sep 10, 2012My 2 yr old Curve 8530 has recently started to reboot about 5 minutes into any and all phone calls. When rebooting is completed, the battery has been exhausted and needs to be recharged to perform any functions.
Rebooting does NOT occur during any other function use.

Jan 24, 2015So I've had the Turbo for about a month now and am extremely upset with the constant reboots. For the first few weeks the phone worked fine, nothing was out of the ordinary.
However, within this past week the phone has started freezing... I'll be using it and then suddenly the screen freezes and sits there and reboots itself. It does this a few times a day....

Apr 16, 2012As an update, I got my phone to quite boot looping by wiping system, cache, and data. I then reinstalled 2.3.6 via computer. This has fixed everything except my wifi. I unistalled logcat and then found highlighted in red that my wifi drivers were not functioning correctly. This does annoy me but I can still use my phone!

Mar 18, 2015I have a 1320 that I got brand new back on Black Friday from Cricket. The problem is after it has been on for a while, the wireless and/or bluetooth or both shutoff. When I bring the status bar down, the wireless icon and/or the bluetooth icon will be cleared out and not active. If I try to turn it back on, nothing happens, the icons stay black. I reboot and usually that fixes it but not always. Sometimes I have to reboot it a couple of times.
Also my phone sometimes reboots when I'm using the GPS to track my bike rides when the phone is in my bag. I know that because when I get to the end of my ride and check the app, Cyclometer, it stays "it has been shut off, do you want to resume" or something to that effect and then I resume it and a portion of my ride is missing from when it apparently has rebooted. I also have had it reboot on me in the middle of something that doesn't happen often.
My phone is on 8.1 and has no more pending updates. this is eating up my data plan because I normally use wireless at home. I also can't use my bluetooth speaker while riding because if I connect my bluetooth speaker to my phone, the bluetooth will shut off after about 15-25 minutes of use. It first starts to become somewhat intermittent for couple of minutes then bluetooth shuts off altogether.

With my iPhone I used to be able to put the phone number with three commas and then the passcode to the conference call in the meeting request (format = 555-555-5555,,,12121212#). By using this format my customers could just click the link in their iPhone and it would auto-dial the conference number along with the passcode so that they did not have to remember the passcode while driving.
Example: 555-555-5555,,,12121212#. (autohyperlink for iOS)
VS
555-555-5555 Passcode 12121212 then press # (caller can hyperlink the phone number but has to remember the passcode and dial it while driving...)
By using this format you could just click the number and it would dial the number pause then auto add the passcode and # to enter the conference call. I think Blackberry used to use a similar format to achieve the same thing.

My Z3 also suffered from the same problem, I was about to send it off for repair but smashed the screen so decided to upgrade early, now the Z5 is doing the same thing. I don't have a micro sd card in it and I have just replaced the sim with a new one but it still happens. But only intermittently when either making or receiving calls. I'm in the UK on the O2 network.

long story short i would make a call with 100% battery talk for 2-3 minutes the led on the phone would go red, phone would try to restart but would not until i did a battery pull .
once restart was complete my battery would be drained to the point that radio would get shut off.
I am currently using one of my old phones until i can find a solution for this problem any help would be great I miss my storm.

Nokia support and my AT&T store say this should not happen and does not happen on their phones. I have the latest update, as of yesterday.
