I am using the Blackberry Torch at the moment and the problem which has recently surfaced is that there are some lines missing in the e-mail messages I receive and hence I cannot see messages in full.
Also, the exactly same problem appears when I try to read webpages on my Blackberry Torch.
My emails have suddenly started displaying as lines instead of text. I can see who the email is from, but the message portion is just one or more line segments.
All of the sudden, my bb is deleting emails right after I read them so they do not remain in my inbox. What can I do to change these settings so that emails only delete when I initiate it?
I have verizon and yahoo email set up on my iphone. Once i read the mail on my iphone how do I have it deleted on my pc so I don't have to go into PC and redelete it.
When I read emails on my Torch, the message gets marked read on my Gmail. However, when I read/delete the message on my Gmail, it does not get reflected on my Torch.
Until recently after reading a message and then closing the message, I was able to hover over a message and a series of options would appear eg: Mark unopened, Reply etc. I can't get this to happen anymore. Is there a setting I can change for this to occur?
I have looked through the user guide and tried looking on here but I have not been able to find an answer to my particular question. I know how to set up my email accounts on my BB 9000 but I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way you could set it so that it only downloaded emails when you tell it to and not always checking the email?
So if I buy the Torch 9860, want to know if I'll I be able to install additional languages. Plus will I be able to read texts written in languages other than English and view foreign sites?
Today my phone started reading my emails out loud as they arrived. I don't think I changed any settings, but I can't make it stop! I have tried pulling my battery and it still happens when it's set to silent.
I had an issue with my Torch 9800 smartphone, my phone booted and show a battery Icon with 2red lines across it. I have tried to wipe the OS with BBSAK 1.8.0, 1.8.2, 1.9.2 , JL_CMDR and Java Loader, none of this work for me, as they all fail to connect to my device. BBSAK could not detect my device. But BB desktop Manager can connect, detect and recongnise my device. When I try to update and reload the OS with DM and BB application loader, I get stuck up with an error message: "Reconnecting to JVM". My Laptop HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook is running 64-bit / Window 7.
Torch 9800 in March around 3-4 weeks later I started having a number of issues:When my phone is in lock mode I tend to check the screen by pressing the call end button..... sometimes when I do this it leaves one band of a horizontal white line (about 1cm thick) that appears across the screen.At other times when I have done the same thing the message that appears when you check in lock mode is. 'Screen is locked. Press the lock button to unlock' but in stead of saying the itThe final issue I have had is when I am on an app say Facebook, I close the app and it still shows the headings 'Facebook' and 'News Feed' on my home screen page and to get rid of it I have to open the option tray.I have already taken it into my network provider for them to send it away and have it looked into but I have now received it back and the problem still persists
I have updated my phone to the latest software. Since that the emai notification wont go even after reading and downloading every mail. Do somebody have a hint?
The problem I am having is that when I receive an email, I will open it, read it if need be and either leave it as is or go back to the home screen. A few seconds later the email indicator shows back up as a new message, like if I havent read the message. If I retort back to opening it again, a few secs later, the indicator pops back up. So in order to get rid of the problem all together, I have to simply delete the message which takes care of the problem.
Is there a way I can get rid of this problem without always having to delete my messages? I have tried deleting my email account and adding it back, but the problem in fact remains. I have gone thru the options menu to email setting and changed some things in there just to see if that would fix it. But nope, the problem still remains. Can someone please tell me what the problem could be and how this can finally go away? thanks in advance.
I am trying to change my email settings as i changed my email account. When i go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", then click on "Internet Mail Account", it simply circulates back to "Email Accounts". It keeps doing this repeatedly. I have done a soft and hard reset (by removing battery) and have updated software but nothing seems to help.
I'm not sure how to connect my school email to my blackberry Torch. My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website. where is the setting for controlling the auto signature on outgoing email? Every email that I send adds my name at the bottom. Can I turn that off/on or change the signature?
I have got myself a blackberry and have been told by t-mobile UK that I am on a BIS account plan. I have set up my gmail email and emails come through nearly instantly. With my work emails I am not getting them instantly. Work does have a BES server and can give me a password to access their server but T-Mobile are using my webmail URL to connect me to the emails.
1) is this correct
2) Can we get rid of the time lag/delay in receiving emails from my work email address so it is more instant?
1. images are not automatically appearing (need to click get images) 2. the HTML emails are appearing too wide. I have to scroll to the right to see the other half of the email.
After a short time on an Android device (which I quickly got rid of) I am now back on a BlackBerry. I used to have a Bold, now I have a Torch.Now the problem is the following: on the Bold I had one BES email (I am the IT Manager of my company) and three BIS accounts (private mails).I moved the BES account on the Torch, no problem, but the three BIS accounts do not move for some reason.
I go to Setup=>Email accounts and the device reports correctly that "A new BlackBerry device has been detected. you mustmove email account(s) to resume email delivery to your BlackBerry device. Email delivery to your old device has been stopped."Following the list of three email accounts I want on the Torch.
I click "Move" and for any single email I have a screen that says "Device change successful. Validate your email account"I type email password for each account, click "continue", receive the message "Your password has been successfully validated.", click OK and exit setup and nothing happens.I still have the BES account but there is no trace of the three BIS accounts.I go back to Setup and the procedure starts again from the beginning.I am on Vodafone UK and the three email accounts are on Apple MobileMe (@me.com)
I have a new BES email so I had to wipe my blackberry account. How do I transfer my browser bookmarks from my old BES email? I backed up my blackberry before wiping and I have tried to restore just the browser bookmarks using the device restore select device data and settings, but the bookmarks don't come back.
I am holding my new 9810 in my hands but cannot activate emails. I am connected to my SP, I have a data plan,I am up to date on payment yet, I do not have the option to connect to a personal email only an enterprise account.Connecting to an SP should not be the only option as through the wireless I should be able to get emails as well so I do not accept a previous reply that it is down to the SP provider.
Since my old email had been hacked and blocked, so I have created new email and also it has been verify in blackberry device. But, all my old contact lists are all listed as my new email's entries. So, I want to know is there any possibility to move all of my contact list to be my new email's entries??
I have been given a new N73; it is over a year old (so out of warranty) but has never been out of the box before. There is no Quick Start Guide showing what the buttons are for or where to put the SIM. I have had mobile phones for 15 or so years so am no novice at setting up a new one.
I have charged up the battery to full, but when I insert the SIM (I put it where it looks right although it does not 'click' into position in a positive manner) nothing happens.Is there something that I have missed?
My unlocked Iphone is not reading SIM. It was working perfectly. After downloading an upgrade to Itunes, it stopped reading SIM and shows invalid SIM. The SIM is working on another phone.
i live in the bahamas and i bought a iphone 4 from a friend of mine and i updated it to the 5.0.1 and now its not reading my sim card and asking me for a chip i dont have is there any fix for this ? it was reading my gsm sim card b4 i updated it
i lost my ihpone 4 so i had to buy a ihpone 3gs after putting the sim in it worked fine then i plugged it into my computer and it updated then said there was a problem so i restored it, after that i thought my phone was working i went through a procedure where i had to locate where i am at pick my countrie and the internet i was running it of, it tried to read my sim but it didnt work i have tried turning it on back on again and taking the sim out, my sim is a micro chip one becuase thats what got sent out to me
I have successfully set up my XP10 to receive emails from my blueyonder account.Original emails generated by the sender work fine. However, whenever anyone replies to an email initiated by me I cannot read their response - just the previous elements in the thread display.
