About once a week, my Blackberry Torch turns itself off and the only way to turn it back on is to take out the battery and put it back in again to reboot. Is this a problem that anyone is having and how is it rectified?
View 6 RepliesMy Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!

i have a blackberry torch 9800, the other day i were on the phone to my friend and my phone just cut off! screen went black and the flashing light flash's red 4 times quick together then pauses for about 2 seconds then continues to flash. it eventually turned back on after 20minutes of taking my battery out then back in contantly. Ever since my phone turns off atleast twice a day and stays off for hours. my phone is now still flshing red and hasn't turned back on since this morning. i thought it may have to do with me needing to update my phone through my PC so when my phone finally turned back on yesturday i updated it, but my phone still persists to turn off still flashing red. I red on here about someone having the same problem and for them to go to start - run and paste this "c:program filescommon files
esearch in motionapploaderloader.exe" /nojvm.but it doesnt say 'UNKNOWN' as an option just my bb pin.
i seem to have bad luck with blackberrys. i got one for my birthday and lost it so got another one 2months ago and now this has happened.
I've had my torch for 5 days and all was going well until today. Phone kept turning off and freezing up. Called support and they told me to get a new phone. Has anyone else found this to be a recurring problem?

I have kept my phone up to date with updates and I have been taking good care of it.
I've already ruled out:
-Water damage (has never been wet or near water whatsoever
-Phone software version (have tried downgrading to multiple versions and upgrading to latest)
-Restore to security copies made when camera worked
My phone turns on but my screen doesn't, the red light come on and so does the buttons but the screen stays black. The screen doesn't have a back light neither. I took out the battery to reset it but that didn't work either. What should I do?

View 3 Replies View Relatedi've had my Blackberry torch for less than 24 hours and i am already having problems. It was working fine until i had synced some music onto it from my pc. When i disconnected it, it flashed red in the LED indicator and turned off then rebooted. Problem is, it will reboot then turn on and verify the security software, it will stay on for about 7 seconds, then the LED flashes again, turns off, reboots and does the whole thing over and over continuously. However, when i connect it to the computer in the few seconds it is actually on, it appears to work fine and I don't have this problem at all. It starts again as soon as i take the USB out though. Oh, and I have done a battery pull & it didn't make a difference & the phone is 100% charged.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt turns off whenever I try to use the browser or the camera without fail and other random times. In these instances, it doesn't not show a battery drained shutting down warning. It has to be charging in order for it to reboot, but once it does the battery reads that it is 100% charged. Being on a phone call will drain a full battery in less than 5 mins, and it will flash the empty battery and say radio too low for handset use or whatever. In this case, I can charge it and it goes through the usual process where the light turns yellow and the bar slowly fills up. If I do a battery pull at this time, it restarts fully charged. The time it lasts out of the wall is anywhere from 5 mins-1 hour. I have no 3rd party applications and I did a complete device reset last month due to the same problems. I don't know much about software, but it says everything is up to date.

It does stay off if I insert it into a Blackberry belt holster, so as long as I leave it there, it's fine, but I want to take it out and not have the battery drain so quickly.
The only way I can ensure the screen is off when not in the holster is to power off, but I need my phone to be on 24/7 for business.

I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result
I turned my phone off and when I tried to turn it on the apple logo appeared on the screen but then it shut down. I have tried turning it on several times but the same thing happens over and over again. I plugged it in to my computer and also tried charging it but nothing works!

I've had this iPhone for about 7-8 months, and this started 3 weeks ago, I woke up in the morning and looked at the time on my phone, and it suddenly just turns off and turns back on showing the apple logo, and now it happened again twice!! Is there any way to fix this problem i've restored my phone fresh twice, no icloud no backup nothing installed, I also have 8.9 GB available.
