View 1 RepliesWhile i travel outside my country of residence, i normally keep the "Data Services" OFF (during roaming), but Wi-Fi ON. While i am able to browse the web in this mode (assumiing i am connected to a Wi-Fi network), i am not able to receive emails. How do i solve this?I would like to continue receiving voice calls, but i want to use data only on Wi-Fi (and not thro the Service Provider's 2G/3G/EDGE/GPRS etc) networks.My friends who use other phones are able to do this, but i am not able to.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just bought the new Torch 9810. All was working fine for 2 days. I have 3 email accounts on my BB, 1 hotmail and 2 yahoo accounts. Now all of a sudden 1 account is not sending through to my BB. I have checked my password and I have unistalled and reinstalled that email account onto my BB. I received the email to say it was activated but nothing after that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOnly some of my emails are coming through to my Torch. The email account is set up, but I only receive about half of the total emails that come to the address. Can't figure out why I am getting some message, but not all of them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI travel overseas a lot and it will be very costly if my blackberry receives emails automatically for some of my messages contains technical drawings and graphics. How do I manually send and receive email on my Torch 9800?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy BB torch 9810 is not sending/receiving any emails or BBM messages if the BES Icon beside signal disappears, when it's there it works fine I tried everything, I called the service provider, restored, formatted, took the battery out and put it back, changed the SIM card ... Unfortunately nothing worked.. What shall I do?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI previously had a bold 9700 a few days ago I upgraded to a torch. When I put my sim card in to the phone and did the set up wizard. When I did the email set up, it says your email address is registered on another device, and you must move to this invoice (something along those lines) so I pressed move it asked for email password and then said device move successful. I then received the email stating the email address has been activated and I will start to receive new emails within 20 minutes.
How it has been two days and I haven't received anything. I am able to send emails but I cannot receive any emails. I also attempted the blackberry messenger remote recovery and that has sent the email to my inbox but hasn't transferred over my contacts. I can see the email in hotmail account when I log in via the website but my device hasn't received the email.
I've been getting an incredible amount of spam recently. So I've tried setting up filters on my BB Torch 9800. If I set up only two or three filters, it seems to work fine. But if I set up more than that, the BB just stops receiving all emails, not just the filtered ones. I've checked to see that I've clicked the right options. I'm not, apparently. So what's the trick to setting up lots of filters to kill of this wretched spam? In Outlook, of course, it's easy -- I can set up rules to stop the **bleep** reaching my in-box -- and I was hoping it was going to be similarly easy to do on the BB. But it isn'.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have suddenly stopped receiving my emails to my blackberry torch 9880. I also cannot send. I've researched on the net and I've done power off and also battery pull. I've tried going into the setup and email settings but it will not let me check my settings.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy BB Torch 9800 has stopped being able to use BBM, emails and a couple more apps through my wifi conection. I am in an area where ther is no network signal, so this service is very essential for me. The internet browser on the phone works ok, and some apps work ok (whats app,facebook). I have been onto O2 and they say evertyhing looks fine at their end, and nothing has accidentally been switched off. My wifes phone (BB Storm with T-Mobile) is still working with BBM ok.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9900. I receive a number of legitimate business emails through MS Outlook on my laptop, although some may incorrectly come through labelled "bulk" in Outlook (i.e. an email sent from someone I know just to me). These same emails do not come through on my BB. My BB does otherwise receive emails. how to correct so I receive all emails on my BB. I am not on a BES.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi am not receiving all of my Yahoo emails on my phone. There is no pattern to those I receive and those I don't.i have changed no settings on my phone and everything was normal 7-10 days ago. Yahoo initially told me to remove the Yahoo account on my phone, re-boot and then re-load the account. It's made no difference.I also have a business email set up on the phone which seems to be working fine.

Over the last 48 hours my iPhone 5S iOS8.1.1 is no longer receiving e-mails. I have tried all of the simple fixes suggested on this website including having deleted and then re-added my Yahoo account to no avail. I am able to do everything else with my phone as normal. My MacBook continues to receive e-mails as previously. I have received no error messages.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two web based emails, which are working fine on my laptop. I stopped receiving emails last night and haven't received any since. They were working fine for several months until last night. I can also not install updates as the desktop manager says there's a 'fatal error'. Might these be related? I get bbm and text fine.

View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I am only receiving a portion of my emails on my 8330 blackberry curve. I have had my carrier's support desk (Verizon) walk me through procedures to make sure I am capable of receiving these messages (which I am receiving on my computer, but not all show up on the blackberry).........and now I am hearing from Verizon that I need to contact Blackberry support. Is there a # to call? I don't know where to start. I can see on the Blackberry email setup icon that I have my verizon email address listed there with the correct password (and again, I am receiving some messages, just not all). Am I missing something here?
p.s. Also, I can't tell a difference between the emails that show up and those that do not...it's not like it's all the 'gmail and yahoo' messages that I don't receive, for instance...seems to be random.
My email quit working. I took out the battery, tried the host routing table. My carrier is sprint. What else could i do to get my blackberry to work

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter initial setup, I'm able to receive SOME, but not all, e-mails on my BB Curve 8530. The others not received on my BB DO appear in Outlook 2007. I can't seem to identify any difference between those e-mails I receive on the BB and those I don't. On the recommendation of my web hosting company, I'm using their IMAP server. POP3 remains an option too. I have completed the registration and reconciliation processes. I've consulted with my web hosting company, and with both Verizon Wireless and RIM;
